Looks like Tarmac works again used the same casting for the regular Hilux for this livery. The real vehicle had 2-doors while this has 4. I'd think that they used the SR-5 Hilux for the racing vehicle. It had a V6 engine and it was intended to be the beefed up top of the line variant.
@@smallmodelcollector it was obvious when you compared the model with the photos. They made a 4 door casting and then made the rally versions and the race car versions with the same casting.

I didn't even catch the extra doors. Tarmac really seems to stretch their castings with these liveries.
