I was about 7 years old when my parents and I stayed here for a weekend. We were on the 18th floor (a floor below the infamous 19th floor). Now, my mom isn’t a fan of supernatural stuff like I am. But my dad wanted to check out the 19th floor since he heard about the stories about it. It was late Saturday night. I can’t remember every detail, but I think I was watching cartoons on one of the beds. That’s when my dad walked up to me and asked to go with him to the next floor up. I didn’t know about what the 19th floor had. So I went with him and we went up the elevator. After the doors opened, I felt an immediate cold go up my back. I didn’t think much of it at the time, so my dad and I walked out of the elevator. After a few minutes, we heard a somewhat tiny laugh. It didn’t sound like an ordinary chuckle, but like a giggle. My dad kinda froze in place. But he played it off and continued waking with me. Soon I apparently pointed a few feet in front of me and said that there was a girl there. My dad looked where I was pointing and he looked confused at first. By my dad’s description, the girl wore some sort of dress, like an old timey doll. She had blonde hair that went down to her ears. Although, her eyes looked kinda sunken. Not your stereotypical horror story empty eyed monster or demon type of deal. Her eyes looked like they were kinda pushed back further into her sockets. She giggled again after staring at us for a minute and threw her ball towards us. She whispered something I haven’t forgotten to this day. It sounded kinda like she whispered “throw it back tony” (a lot of people that aren’t my family don’t really call me tony, and if they do know my nickname they don’t call me it). My dad said we had to leave and started kinda jogging towards the door holding my hand. I looked behind me to see the girl turning the corner, but she must’ve kicked the ball to me before she walked away, because it was bouncing toward us.
Will arrive the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to spend three nights at this historic site. Baltimore born, relocated to Florida 38 years ago, I return to find so many wonderfully positive changes ... and I look forward to this being another one of those great experiences!!
Purportedly, this hotel is crazy haunted. Was told there is the spirit of a young girl named Molly, who was abused and murdered by her parents haunting the place, as well as others. Would be interesting to see.
The girl and parents actually all committed suicide during the great depression. The parents jumped off and took molly with them. Very sad, but apparently molly still plays around there.
I was lucky enough to get to stay here during a work trip. On night on my way back from the bar I swear I saw a woman in a white dress standing at the end of a long hallway adjacent to my room. I looked at her, turned left and got to my room as fast at I could without looking back. It was weird. This person had no direction, just a piercing stare.
Would not stay their. Watch the fam, Omar gosh tv on YT? These guys were asked to come visit and explore for ghosts. Then we're asked to leave and don't come back.. and for that I will never go to this hotel. Plus the staff are rude....

Stayed 15 days on 14th floor nothing happened

The hotel happens to be haunted by 3 ghosts (a woman, a man, and their daughter) who jumped to their death after the crash of '29.
