- CB750 4 Into 1 Exhaust Install! Sounds Amazing! In this video I remove the 4 into 2 system that was on the bike and install a used 4 into 1 using an unknown brand header. I modify the header exit to fit a short stainless cone muffler for the best combination of looks and sound per my liking. This bike is now simply perfect!
CycleX is where I bought the muffler but it appears I grabbed the last one! Sorry not sorry! Regardless here is a CycleX link as they provide a ton of great stuff anyway. www.cyclexchange.net/
Previous episode of the seat that I traded for! • The CB750 FINALLY gets...

I hope you all like this one as I have wanted to get a 4 into 1 on this bike since day 1! I do plan to make a short version of this video with just sound clips for the masses so I'm aware this one may be lengthy for what is accomplished. As I know many will chime in saying "would be better with stock pipes" just remember that that is simply an opinion. You have them, I have them, everyone has them. That does not mean your opinion is a fact. Just remember this is all fun and we can all enjoy these things in our own way which is what it's all about.
well said :D
Really good work - It looks better, and sounds better too!!
Love it - had a CD175 with a 2 into 1 with reverse cone megaphone back in the day - what a sound
@@AidanH1 🤘🤘
Well said!! That’s the great thing about bikes….and cars…..making them your own! The downside to this build is that it makes me want a CB750 now. And then I’ll want a CBX again when you start working on that!! 😂. I only have a two-car garage man…and it already has two bikes in it!!!!!!
LOVE Honda CB750's, and love the patina you've preserved in this beautiful bike. Great film - terrific storytelling, well edited, well shot. LOVE IT - thanks very much!
Many thanks and happy you enjoyed!
Why do they always sound so good, always fall in love with them😜😜 Could listen to them 24x7😄😄
Same lol
You did a great job on the fabrication and it sounds deeper now, more aggressive. That’s a Yea from me 👍🏻 Oh, btw, you can weld 👊🏻
Thank ya Stew! I figured I'd show of a tiny bit of the fabrication I do since I hadn't shown any on this bike yet 😎
Yeah thats what I was thinking. Nice welds.
Beautiful "custom" exhaust!!! Love it!!! Takes me back to the 70's when a cool exhaust had to be built. Yours looks really nice!!! Really nice!!!!!!
Nothing beats that old school 4 into 1 sound! Takes me to "back in the day". Thanks for posting🏁
Glad you liked it!
It’s been fun watching the progress on this bike. Very well done and clean work. Keep up the good work.
Glad ya like it thanks!
Workmanship is excellent while keeping the patina of the bike! Great job and video! Thanks man!
Glad you like them Mark!
Sounds fantastic, love the fabrication, quality Tig welding. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you Paul! If you like seeing fabrication check out my recent skid plate video!
Love watching your progress on this bike, i rode that model around New Zealand back in early 90s for 8 weeks and enjoyed every moment, keep up the great work, you are a genius, love your channel😎👍🏻
Many thanks! Lets not push that genius thing as I have some very dumb moments lol
An upgrade that does not detract from the look. In fact, it adds extra 'cool' and of course, a wicked sound. Top workmanship as always. Keep up the great work man!
Thank ya Mike!
That exhaust wakes that bike UP! Sounds great! I love how you love this bike!
Its almost perfect! I do very much love this thing
I think even your bike would hit the like button if it could. That's a sweet sounding Honda you've got there, such a fabulous machine gracing the roads once more. Great work, thanks for the video.
hahahaha thank ya! I'm sure it would! it's life is much more exciting now vs its time spent in the barn
Your metalworking skills are impressive. Love the end result.
Very much appreciate it! 🤘🤘
Sounds much sweeter with the 4-1 fitted. Bike is really starting to come together now, love what you're achieving with it. 😎.
Thank ya!
The exhaust sounds absolutely perfect, so I'm doing the same to my '76, also I like that you acknowledge new comments. Great skills and I have learned from these videos, Sensei.
Well thank ya much! I do my best to interact with everyone as I appreciate them taking the time to watch my videos.
A group of us riding with 4 into 1 pipes was spine tingling. Nice job and way better sound.
I appreciate it Richie
My $150.00 72 CB750 came with a very well used Kerker 4into1 exhaust. Did the same thing you did and painted the head pipes black and cleaned up the muffler. Had to replace the end cap. I clicked the like button after only about one minute of watching. You are correct they sound the best with a 4into1 exhaust.
Thanks Ken! I had a Kerker on a cb550 that sounded wicked!
Bike is looking very good and that exhaust looks absolutely awesome. Now that sound.. is soooooo perfect🤤 Dude really, you’re killing it!👏
Thank ya! Arguably a touch loud at idle for me but I love it all else in the range
Oh yeah definitely like the after, sound like a modern bike in my opinion. And it sounds like my old cb750f from back in the day, I miss that bike thanks for taking me back in time and ride safe.
Hell yeah, man! I just swapped 4into2 into 4into1 on my KZ650
Recently found your channel and have watched all the CB750 videos. Can I say you have done the right thing with the bike? The important stuff is sorted, the bike runs, goes and stops. 10/10 on the exhaust sir! Looks and sounds great! Age related patina means you don’t get precious about using the bike for what Honda intended. Top marks for a job well done!
Well I'm glad you found the channel and have been enjoying the videos! Much appreciated and I absolutely plan to put a ton of miles on this old girl!
Yeah, that exhaust does sound super good. Nice mechanical sound.
Shades of 1980 had that bike back then when I was 15 wanted the four in the one Kerker header so bad, but couldn’t afford the 300 bucks 😂
Great job.
That exhaust strikes the perfect note.
Thank ya!
I’m partial to the original exhaust though I love the sound of the 4-into-1. And it’s always a pleasure watching you improvise. Great work.
Definitely nothing wrong withe the stock exhaust its all personal preference. Since I fell in love with cb750s in modified form first thats the look burned into my head
@@BrickHouseBuilds That 4 in 1 does indeed sound pretty good. Also: nicely done with getting it to fit.
Didn't the CB750 came with a 4-in-4 from factory? Or does my memory fail me here?
@@Vulcanier65 Yes the K models had giant 4/4 pipes. They are worth way too much money lol
I love how you're enjoying your 750. I love mine too.
I needed this bike at this time and I'm glad my joy comes through with it!
I’m looking for the old vintage four into four like the six into six cbx ❤ love that quad exhaust look. I have one on my single Grom LoL 😅
I had a CB750 F Super Sport. Had 4 into 1 exhaust. Mine was like the old Doug Thorley tri-y set up. 4 into 2 then 2 into 1. What a screamer!
Nice!
I know nothing about bikes but i always wished for buying one of these older models,i find them pure and real. beautiful bike and video!
Glad you enjoyed!
Mate, I'm not sure what's more pleasing to the eye. The bike or your skill.
Thank ya!
The bike is amazing everything you do is just class and you make it look so easy and you explain what your doing in great detail.keep the ip the good work safe biking 🏍 🏍🏍
Many thanks 🙏
That noise brings back memories. I had a cbx with a 6/1
a CBX with a 6/1 is THE BEST sound
Looks and sounds great. You gotta be happy. Well done. Can't wait for the weather to pick up here in Victoria, Australia.
Thank ya much. Definitely one of those simple things I wanted on the bike
Love that 4-1 sound..back in the day those pipes were the go to performance mod with k&n filters or even the old mesh covered alloy bell mouth carb intakes which usually needed the needle height lifting. The sound with 4-2 is great..but that 4-1 sounds mint. 🇬🇧
I still need to tune the carbs but it shouldn't take much. I'm happy where it's at
Looks fantastic. Fantastic work. Sounds ferocious.
Thanks Ken
What a sweet sound as the engine is start to moving !!
That it is!
The 60's Luanda when the Japanese started to invade the market. The first was the cb 350 soon after the CB 750 four appeared it was total madness the 4 collectors in a short pipe it was chilling I remember well I was a kid I loved hearing the sound. Wonderful time. thanks for bringing those moments back..
Glad to do so!
Sounds superb that's 1 cool old-school bike 👍
Nice work. Love Hondas. Keep the great videos coming.
Thank ya!
Man, that thing sounded killer with the open header!
It was SOOOO much louder off camera. Like painful lol
@@BrickHouseBuilds yeah, I wish there was a way to get that sound, but quieter. No such thing as a free lunch though.
Great video, lovin the channel.
A collector 4 to1 is the answer for in line 4, no matter the make! Power, sound and personality. Love IT!
Brings me back to 1984, being 20 yrs old, in A&P school and mounting up on my 1975 Z-1 Kawasaki, Yoshimura 4-1, Road race pipe. Like to have that bike back.
Great welding hoss, nice!
Agreed! A 4/1 just sounds right to me but nothing wrong with stock either. Many thanks on the welding comment
Nice, nice! Remember my beautiful but open Kerker on my old CB900F with fondness and a little pain. I had to fabricate an internal baffle with many holes to cut the noise down.
Those dohc bike have a sharp pitch at certain rpms that just beats the ears
Nice job. For me, it is the 4 into 2 every time tho! just a preference. Your bike ,your choice, thanks for sharing.
I definitely liked the 4/2 and it could have stayed forever but when the deal comes!
I owned a 1973 Honda 350 CL and installed a 2 into 1 Jardine chrome header and muffler. The header/muffler wasn't one piece. I welded the muffler to one of the header pipes. The other header I did not attach because I could removed the header without taking the whole assembly off when I wanted to change the oil. Also, had to make a bracket to attach the muffler to the swinger arm. Also, I went up one size on the main jets. That was it. Ran and sounded fine.
350s and 360s sound really good with a 2 into 1
Another amazing video from Brick House Builds. Making art from something old. Wow.
man bike sounds amazing coming around that turn at the end!!!!!!
I definitely love it this way
Nice job on the exhaust , sounds well nice , and nice welding 👍
Thanks Ian!
With that back pipe on it will sound even better I had a C B 750 with a Collins 836 stroker kit and cams Hooker headers and it sounded like an offenhauser Indy engine
Great job! I never learned to weld and sorry I did not. You are really good at it. The new pipes and muffler sound great.
Much appreciated! I weld often and it takes a lot of practice to say the least
Because there are no balance tubes you can get the balance with a four in to one. And closing it down will help the bike run cleaner. Great choices. I also like how you play the best notes against the sound wall of the loading dock.
Im going to probably make an update video on carb sync and tuning as that will be cool to see. Glad you liked the soundtrack 😎
Dunstall decibel exhausts back in the day sounded awesome . They used to do lots of beefy bass mufflers .
👍
Ooh man that's a spicy wee exhaust! Love it. Your welding is looking first class too - 💪🏻👌🏻🙌🏻
Many thanks Euan!
Hi there, am here again because I like what you do, and now I just found a 76'750F and it was running as of last year, but it now has some problems, and I hope am not to old and forgotten on what I used to know, so I will be checking you as much as possible... I commented on one your video and you answered, kool... I will be trying to work on it but one problem is I now don't have a garage... so i will see what I can and can't do... thanks for your channel... ps, I might be wanting to ask a question or two if possible... ok
No worries. Ill do my best to answer should you have some.
Most exciting youtube title of the day! Just about to watch.
🤘🤘
This CB 750 K is getting cooler every day. It's been my dream since always, too bad that here in Brazil they are rare and too expensive. With 4 x 1 it was a show!!!!
Definitely a lot of bikes being exported from here
Looks like a Kerker header, very popular back in the day. Great job on the old CB
Thanks Steve, could be indees
Yes, the sound now is better. But I like more the symetry with 4/2 or 4/4.
I've always been on the other side of the fence there with preferring minimalist looks.
I see you got the exchange! I mean about the seat!
I had a 74 750 I put a winning 4 in one header on it. Sounded great
Definitely nothing else sounds like a soch 750 with a 4 into 1
Looks good, and sounds good. Nice job! I love your welding. Whenever I welded something it always looked like blew my nose on it :) Regards from Canada 🇨🇦
We all start off laying down booger welds but practice makes perfect!
Cool Job . nice sound .. Notice your fins were broken. We used to file the head corners off at 45 deg. (Black head with filed fin edges )
Yeah a few broken ones but it adds character. I'll weld them like factory if I ever rebuild this thing.
That great bike just got greater, really nice job on that exhaust and a good seat now as well, totally jealous, look after it mate 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank ya! She's pampered now
Just about perfect now!
Top Notch welding skills!!!!
Well fabricated job on this tig welding is first class could listen to it all day sounds amazing awesome job mate 👍👌❤️🏁🏁
Thank you again Peter!
@@BrickHouseBuilds sorry for all the comments going through all your content lol amazing mate your skill is spot on 👍
@@peteraitken6494 absolutely no issue. I appreciate the comments for real
I like 4 into 1 with the spark arrester
Sounds and looks awesome on the sohc bike great job
I appreciate it David
@@BrickHouseBuilds got a 76 750 myself, love those bikes
Awesome Job. Thanks for sharing

Nice job Champ new to the channel enjoying the content no bs.😆

What a beauty. I am now looking for a project bike. They are hard to find. An 80's CB or a mid 90's CBR would be awesome. I love the exhaust setup too bad you got the last muffler.
Check out cone engineering as they have better quality ones
Nice set up
Sound is amazing
Thank ya!
Awesome job and sensational welding skills
Thank you much!
I had a RC engineering 4 into1 header on my Z1 900 Kaw that got me stopped by two different Cops in one hour! I guess i should of installed the baffle! 4 into 1 headers are the best for horsepower & sound.
It could be a seat of the pants placebo effect but I felt every aspect of how the engine runs to be smoother after the exhaust change. Shifting, on/off throttle, power, idle, just everything.
I’m looking for a cb750 sooooo this is research for me =] ❤
Hi BJ, love the vid showing how much care you took, fantastic work. Sounds great. Would have sounded better with a brown seat. 🤣
Thank you
Very nice. Sounds great.
Many thanks Alphonse!
Nice job, sounds great!
Thank ya
Wow, it sounds great!
Thank ya!
Very awesome sound
Agreed!
Sounds so much better
Just smooth and snappy!
Same exhaust I had on my 750 they do sound awesome
Keep it between the mustard and mayo and rubber side down GBU later
Thank ya Virgil
Outstanding!
Thank ya!
Apart from the great sound it looks better allowing you to see more of the rear wheel / swinging arm etc.
Agreed, I tend to prefer a minimalist look
Dream bike for sure
Your cutting on the header reminded me of the Supertrapp I put on my CB700 Nighthawk S. (You probably saw it last year at one of the 4 Hands VBNs. It was the red and black one) Anyway, the only header I could find for it was an NOS Mac 4-into-1megaphone, but the baffle was awful, so I cut it off, notched the collector, had it ceramic coated, then cut the inlet pipe down on my my Supertrapp muffler and inserted it INSIDE the Mac collector and clamped it that way. I'm sure the flow wasn't the best, but it worked! 🤣
Hey if it works!
sounds awesome!
Thank ya!
I really love that bike
Same here!
But is so hard to find the kind of bike here in the philippines and so expensive!😢😢😢 that's one of my dream bike, good job
Sheeesh that shorty bullet pipe sounds *chef's kiss* I must say the bike sounded more "muscle-y"
This is the first time ive used this cheaper muffler but the Cone Engineering brand units I always use sound amazing on anything I use them on. These were bound to be similar.
Love the 'that's about right' geometry measurements! I never get bored of your vids dude, so pleased I found your channel. I can watch these vids for hours and not even in order... So far iv affixed a new subframe but can't afford any argon so still using flux core, what a mess! But I'll go over it at 120amps later lol... Just done the rear tank mount and about to start on the front, using a China cg125 tank so measurements are useless it's all by eye. I watch your tig welding so closely, one day I'll do another bike and will strive to match your quality 👌🏼 Thank you for the vids man. Your absolutely inspiring some of us.
Well thanks so much that means a lot! Glad you are inspired to build skills on the welding side. I was teaching a friend to weld today!
@@BrickHouseBuilds you know you've mastered something when your teaching someone else, and good on ya for paying the skills forward too.
this is awesome!
I've restored a 78cb 750 very close to stock . 4 n21 is awesome . 5k to 7 8 k . Just howls . Not cbx but , lil bro fits
Agreed! They howl up top like you say!
Oh yes! The original Mad Max sound is there! I used to drag race my 77 KZ1000 with just the open header. For street I had the MAC muffler the header came with. I always wanted something in between. My turbo bike will have no muffler as it was before but without the crazy bends.
I have a 76 Honda 750F with a Wisco 915 big bore kit, 4into1 Hooker, Streetcam 29mm carbs and she sounds like mean angles to me. 130hp at rear tire.
The turbo is the proper muffler!
🤘🤘 thats legit
nice dude! love the sound!
I appreciate it Boris?
Think I preferred both the sound and look before haha but thats the point of building bikes, each man to his own
And nothing wrong with that we can enjoy these our own way
The look and the sound are better with the 4 into 1.👍
Thats where my heart lies
sounds good ,rob
Thanks
