This is currently the only AMD CPU that is below $300 that will keep the 6800xt at 95-99% usage constantly at 1440p in most modern AAA games. And even then, RDR2 still manages to drop the usage occasionally below 90%. If only the AM5 platform wasn't so dang expensive to jump into.....
@@Chrontard It makes sense if you are building a new system and want to be able to upgrade your cpu later. 5800x3d is obv better value now but i went with 7600 so that i wont have to buy a new platform couple of years later.
@@Chrontard This is only partialy true. I managed to snap 7600 (non x) for 210 pounds where cheapest 3dx is 320pounds here. Good B550 for zen 3 is ~150 pounds where B650 is 210 already. U can make up the price on DDR5 if u go for 5600 CL36 (fps diff to 6000 is negligble). DDR 4 32Gb 3600 is ~85 pounds where 5600 CL 36 is 120 pounds . TOTAL AM4 = 555/ AM5 = 530? Yes I know u can get cheaper board for AM4 but quality of B650 is actually very good and they more like x570 ergonomy wise...and u can pop 7800x3d in a year time when it drops down to 300 pounds.

I have this exact combo but 7600 instead of the x version.. it can play literally any game on 1440p but cpu still goes 100% when using roblox avatar changer
Did you undervolt the card or you just have great airflow? Because I have the same specs and I had to undervolt the card 50mv to get to 60/65 C° max, without the undervolt it was at 75/80 C° max, 15 C° drop, I didn't lose performance, I have the settings at 2400 clock speed, 1100 mv and 2150 the VRAM.

ye, 7600x build is 20 to 30% more expensive than full 5800x3d build and same gaming performance.. doesnt make sense

Rx 6800 xt is monster gpu for ultra max 1440p all 2023 games u can go with 4k high and medium settings
