OMG you are the most generous lady on RUclips. Please don't let a few shit heads make you second guess yourself or feel you need to defend your choice to support animal rescue. Every person who donated or took part knew it was for animal rescue. So to come on the end and tell you that was too much for animals...well I'm sure you know where they can go. People took part because they also support animal welfare and support you for championing a small animal welfare 501.c.3 who struggles to do what they do.

I made this for my 19-year-old daughter to go with a cat ear beanie I made. I then posted the results on in one of my favorite Crochet groups on Facebook and so many people loved the gloves they wanted to know where I got the pattern from. So, I of course sent them to the Etsy pattern and here; hope I was able to introduce someone new to your amazing patterns Crystal!

Gary outdid himself with that yarn. It’s absolutely gorgeous. 😍 I’ve made fingerless gloves in the past, without the individual finger holes. I thought it was way too complicated to make them. Once again you’ve proved me wrong. You took what seemed like an insurmountable task and broke it into easy to understand steps. Not only is it simple, but it’s a quick project too. Thank you so much!! It’s perfect for the 2 people I’d been wracking my brain what to make them this year. Thank you ever so much for the perfect timing!!! Cheers from FL😺

Thank you! I have watched many crochet tutorials on this site and I have to say that there are many videos with clear enough instructions, some not so much. I have never seen a crochet tutorial that has more clear instructions than yours. I like the way your instructions are succinct and thorough, leaving nothing out, and you don't add in any side talk to lengthen your video. When I want to learn a pattern, that's exactly what i want to see and hear, and nothing else. If I wanted to hear about someone's sister's husband's cousin's dog while watching a video, I would not search out a crochet tutorial, I'd do a search for extraneous gossip! Kudos to you on your excellent teaching technique! I'm subscribing to your channel!

  • @betht2187

I've watched your channel for years & made so many things with you but this one changed "my" life for the extreme better. I have a condition where it kills my hands if they get even a little bit cold, like putting stuff in the freezer cold. My fingers feel like they're going to fall off & they stay that way for a long time. I tried to use regular fingerless gloves but they don't work & I can't very well wear gloves when it's only around 65° outside. I am SO SO HAPPY I saw this tutorial!!! As usual you explain perfectly & make everything easy all the way thru it. I made them & just carried the fingers out to the point of right under my fingernails & they're PERFECT!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for posting this, it REALLY has made a huge difference in my life. I can't even explain how much they've changed how I do things. I just wanted you to know how big of a difference this tutorial has made in my life. ❤Thank you again. You're amazing!!! 🙂💐❤

Here to say that u are a great teacher and have a wonder way of crocheting, I started making gloves for child who is 10, hands are a little smaller then mine, but stopped after making the border and a few rounds I realised they were too big for me even, but I learned how to make the ribbed border and stitching it in a seamless way following ur video, that was a milestone for my crocheting journey, I tried to make it on my first ever cardigan project but couldn’t understand it, eventually gave up, but ur this project taught me the ribbed border, and I am grateful

Despite this, they turned out fantastically! I have chonky fingers, I will definitely need to chain a couple of extra stitches between the fingers to increase the diameter, in the same way that I cast on extra stitches when knitting fingers. But I love how great these look in crochet and DK. I'm really not a fan of chunky/super chunky yarn mitts so these will be nice to try.

Thank you for this tutorial. I made some adjustments to the count and rows since these are a birthday present for a 7 year old girl (my poor son was my hand model 😂) I also used a few rows of HDC and changed colors with Spike sc rows to match closer to the beanie I made for her also. Great tutorial! I’ve never made gloves before!

Love the yarn reviews and you are the first person to simply explain DK weight. Suggestion, a tutorial with a download with different yarns and etc terminology and explanations.

I love love love that yarn!!! And I'm super happy about this tutorial too! I'll definitely be making some for gifts and for myself! I'd also like to see mittens that have a flap to expose your fingers when needed. Mittens keep hands much warmer.
