A wise man once said “don’t be slamming the phone, or you’ll be spending another 6 months in here”
But Jeremy didn't listen. He was so upset when Melvin came to visit him after New York and told him about how much fun he had and how he got booked for 2 more shows with Julius Dein. Jeremy didn't want to hear it and slammed the phone down.
So you see . . . that's how Jeremy got another 6 months added to his sentence. His life kept going down and never made it as a magician. While Melvin's lift kept going up! Melvin got more shows with Julius Dein and even more shows on his own. Melvin was paid more and more doing what he loved and eventually became one of the top magicians in the world!!

The reason why the stolen items, which are the watches, weren't on the list was because those people who had their watch stolen didn't report to the police immediately. It's like they forgot they had a watch due to a magic spell.
I think we need to appreciate how hard they work to entertain us and teach is at the same time. And the acting is just AMAZING! I even got my mum to watch these and she loves them sooo “hi Mum!”

Feels pretty off for Melvin to end this story by getting everything he wanted when he knew Jeremy was stealing from people, but said nothing. When he saw Jeremy steal from that one woman, he could've easily caught up to her and told her so she could get her watch back right that moment. But he didn't, and he ends up suffering no consequences for not doing anything to stop Jeremy.
In the dhar mann universe, everyone knows karma happens without delay so he is letting the guy suffer for longer before he gets caught. Perfectly fine if you ask me

That's a pretty good way to look at these videos. The messages Dhar Mann may be good ones, ones we should strive to live by, but the specific events as they happen in these videos don't happen like that in real life, but in the "Dhar Mann universe."
It's, like, if you're watching a cooking show and the chef is putting something in the oven and he says "This is going to take two hours to cook, but we have one that we prepared in advance so we're going to take that one out right now, and go on to the next step." In real life after you put it in the oven you don't have one that was prepared in advance, so have to wait two hours, and then you can go on to the next step.
When he said "Alaka zam, Alaka zoom", the process all happened in reverse, causing the books to dry, with the time still moving forward witihout hesitation
