It's really astounding that, despite the smear campaign lobbied at it, this drama still managed to become one of the top hits of 2023. And it's because mature audiences appreciated its somewhat fantastic (CEO loving an office girl) but deep-down realistic story about loving a person for who or what she is, despite knowing her faults. It's about overcoming challenges to relationships. This drama has a campy humor that resonates with mature audiences which could be one reason some viewers just can't get it.
My Little Happiness - Daddi Tang sure knows his way around a good kiss. Several memorable scenes, especially the after-wedding scene. Only for Love - loved the interplay and slow build-up. Really liked Meet Yourself. It showcased more mature couple falling in love, not some mid-20's CEO. For eye candy and tension, Dai Gao Zheng in Forever Love. Really appreciate the effort he puts into his sculpted body. Also Yang Ye Ming in My Name is Zhao Wudi and Guo Jinan in Love Strikes Back.
I really love Will love in Spring absolutely my top 1 for this year. She and her perfect husband were not really it for me i feel like they were relying too much on the FL. Xu kai's character was not really portrayed in the drama. Only for love was boring. i have seen multiple dramas of both Bai Lu and Dylan Wang and I know they will have done better if their character was well scripted I skip them a lot and deos want it to finish. They had a great cast but a poor script. Love at Night was a good one the FL has been doing great mature dramas lately. The ML did a great job in Love and Redemption, Blood of Youth, and many more. Meet Your self was not really bad is deos that it very slow past drama like the first kiss happened in ep 31 and there are 40 episodes so if you want to watch this you have to be patient but overall is a healing drama and Li Xian who is also in Will love in Sping is the ML he did a great job. The FL character was a little difficult. this year for me it was Will Love in Spring, Love at Night and Love is Sweet, Wonderland of Love Xu kai is the ML here great drama.
Go Ahead, just randomly watched this in Netflix but I end up loving every episode of it. I tend to get bored in a flash back ep, but in this series, I def enjoyed it. It gave a great foundation of the drama.
