  • A very warm welcome once again to our channel. Thankyou to our new and existing subscribers and fasten your seatbelts for our Autumn Adventure, it's great to have you along !! :)
We're off again and this trip will take you to Atlantic coastlines, stunning French towns and villages, the beauty of the French Alps and everything in between!
In Part 12 we left Morzine after a few days static at the Aire De Camping, and travelled to a small village called Gibles which is about 150 miles West of Morzine. We were aiming to then travel North towards Dieppe. We spotted this free Aire De Camping on Park4Night. Gibles provide these places with water, a hook up and some toilets (not the greatest toilets!!). A really great facility in a really pretty part of France
This series of films follows our Autumn 2023 6 week trip to France in our A Class 2021 Mobilvetta K-Yacht 79 Teknoline, towing a small trailer on which we now have 'Peggy', a 2023 Lexmoto Pegasus 300cc scooter :)

Another brilliant video thanks very much, and have already been on your website and down
Loaded the checklist again thanks for that too, I have to agree with the comment below
that motorhome stops would not be treated in the same way as abroad, and that would be a shame.

Many thanks indeed Steve and much appreciated :) Glad Nicky's creations have been useful and thanks for visiting the website. We need some societal change I think - not sure quite how that's going to be delivered at the moment !!
Until it is we'll keep sneaking over the channel and enjoying these beautiful places :)

Having returned from Europe yesterday, couldn’t agree more about the UK needing to provide more motorhome stops, however, I feel they would be abused unfortunately. Sad to think this of some of our fellow countryman, but having g seem evidence of it, it is true.

Many thanks for watching Tina and it is a sad situation. You’ve only got to leave a service area and see the litter scattered for miles on the verges to be in disbelief as to why this is done!!
I think it’s a societal decline which will hopefully be addressed longer term as these things tend to go round in circles but, you’re right, at the moment the UK is at a low point and feels like it’s every person for themselves 😢
Now when is our next trip …… 😍🚌

On our travels back through France we commented on how there was very little if any litter on the verges, then as soon as we hit the M20 on our return there was litter everywhere.
Roll on June for our next trip to France. Morzine looks beautiful, think it’s on our list. Thank you for your vlogs.

Looks a great place to overnight. Good facilities provided and a eatery should you require it. Did you meet up with/talk to/ have a glass with the other motorhomes?

We probably talk too much Frederick :)) Yes always look to have a chat and catch up with neighbours - part of the travelling fun.
Yes a good spot provided by Gibles - very relaxing!
      Thanks for watching :)

Can I ask what Sav Nav are you using on your travels

Hi @donal5755 and thanks for watching 😀
I’m use Sygic Truck - a paid for app on the phone that I saw a lot of good reviews about. It’s been excellent since purchase and I would recommend- takes vehicle weight/ dimensions etc and has stacks of customising options to tailor your preferences 😀🚌☀️

Also do you use GPS on your travels. What coordinates do you normally use in France. I actually bought sygic two months ago and I have difficulty with it taken coordinates for france. I was actually going to buy a sát nav pretty soon. Help please

@@donal5755 hi Donal, no I just search for the place name or even the name of the campsite and it finds it and gives you a choice of routes depending on your preferences and d vehicle settings. Not have a problem yet - yes use GPS through my iPhone connected through our TP Link router that I added to the van - with a Popit Mobile UK SIM card when in Europe - it gives you 100GB data in Europe per month
(You can also use the map to tap on where you want to go if it doesn’t come up on search)

Hi Folks. I just down loaded the sygic truck onto my aguri sat nav. Gps seems to work perfect once I downloaded france onto the sat nav. So onwards and upwards role on Sept for 4 weeks in France.
