- Israel is coming under intense political pressure from its main ally the United States, amid growing signs that the White House is losing patience with Benyamin Netanyahu.
His main political rival, Benny Gantz, has gone to Washington DC for key talks - after Vice-President Kamala Harris said there must be an "immediate ceasefire" for at least six weeks and more humanitarian aid must be let in - "no excuses".

In the full speech, not shown here, I think she said something about an immediate but temporary ceasefire.
First words spoken with Determination, “Immediate Cease Fire”. But she did then go mildly into Biden’s if’s and but’s. Not sure how far UN have got debating US ‘Veto’ It Should be Stopped. UN can step in and that Could be a game changer.
She couldn't demand a glass of water without pissing someone off.
I would recommend that she goes THERE and gives a cackling speech!
