Ranked has changed a whole lot since last season, much more sweatier and passive, from the melee abusers, dogwater teammates (never changed tbh) , meta abusers and tactical/lethal spammers, it's less enjoyable. I've never been sniped sm in my life on CODM and there are so many low skill players getting carried to high ranks such as Grand Master because of this. CODM has made the ranked system where you actually have to grind more than your testicles to get to legendary.
See I'm not complaining neither I'm saying ranked is bad. I'm just sharing my personal experience which irritates me in ranked. Because i know some people likes to play ranked like what it is now. I quit cod because of this season meta and spamming of thermite. Wish I could play pre gunsmith cod it was so good and meta was also gr8 and was not as op as now. Even in public matches people do the same thing there is nothing fun to play in the game anymore so just quit this anniversary season was just plain trash even last year's was better

Melee should be 2tap to kill in snd just like in payout mode. Because this mode is more tactical, people should not be running with melee for easy kills unless they want the better movement speed and to kill enemy only after they have been damaged.

After they have been unlock EMP and VTOL everything was changed to hell and they win easily. I can't shoot them properly because they jump and slide like a stupid monkey with shotgun.
From my perspective , I don't have any feels to play the game anymore bcz there's a lot of Sweats , Meta Abuser and Toxic Players . I play ranked just for fun and doing some stupid things . CODM is way too different nowadays . That's why streamers like Iferg , BobbyPlays and Hawksnest rarely play the game . But if people are inviting me to play SnD I'm okay with it cuz it's the most chill game mode that you could've ever play .. except when u got matched up against "Tryhard" enemies
The deduction is the most stressful thing about ranked. Especially when ranked is basically the Prestige mode of Mobile. They have content locked away in ranked and being deducted away from that exclusive content makes this game feel less rewarding.

Campers can be countered by using either the UAV, Dragonfly or the Heartbeat Sensor. Thermites counter melees as they slow them down and take damage. Ice Grenades can also be used to slow them down. Another thing is that Melee Abusers aren't very safe and secure in large and open areas such as the middle area in Firing Range or the long corner roads in Standoff.

This season made had a loadout exclusively for each mode just to counter the stupid meta or the annoying campers. Finally I surrendered and now only play s&d or grind for damascus on pubs cause ppl just don't get how boring they're making the game, everyone just wants to get to top5000 and will do whatever it takes to get there. It's not a skill based game anymore

Yeah I agree, ranked modes keeps getting worse and worse each season. I’ve had to greatly modify my play style in order to be able to win some ranked multiplayer games. I now only use shotguns including the shorty because there’s too much nonsense going on in ranked multiplayer. While I only use shotguns and sniper combos in BR. Here’s some solutions to the nonsense going on in ranked Multiplayer and Battle Royale. 1.) Stamina system to counter strafe, jump and slide spammers. These play styles are why I primarily use shotguns in COD mobile. 2.) Automatic artillery bombardment on players staying in a 5 foot radius for more than 30 seconds 3.) Swapout Nuketown, crash, firing range and Hackney yard for alternative maps as these maps have too many campers. 4.) Thermites and molotovs as operator skills instead of equipment. 5.) Hardcore damage settings in ranked multiplayer so they can be games of true skill instead of who can dodge bullets better. 6.) No more flinch as it can be used to get lucky headshots. 7.) Fix the bug where enemy players can walk through you. It’s absolutely ridiculous 8.)Nerf melee to 75% damage like in that new Search and destroy mode. 9.) Lag and desynch needs to be fixed. I’ve lost quite a few games because of this nonsense. I shouldn’t have to lower my graphics or turn off ragdoll physics Overall it is still a fun game but I remember when call of duty games were about who has better reaction times and accuracy/precision. Feels really mundane. Metas are awful, teammates are stoopid, enemies are toxic, hackers are everywhere. This kinda sucks. Even in pub match you can also get pissed off. This season kinda sucks tho, even in the anniversary too. Basically adding the grandmaster rank doesn’t even help. I keep getting pissed off by the first days because there are full of tryhard pros. After a while I struggle and nearly up grandmaster, those stupid dudes who just got to master got matchmaked with me. It sucks when the lower lobbies like the pro lobbies aren’t having meta but they are full of cancer and dirty plays, which again I’m still stuck in Master V. I started to grind BR instead, getting Legendary is so EZ in solo br lobbies and also I grind Clan Wars in pub matches and tryhard in BR to gain clan points. At the same time teaming up with my clanmates because playing alone really sucks when u get stoopid and cancers even in pub matches.

Thermite, molotov and melee the bane of my grind in ranked. This three exist from lower ranks to the top. Others like meta guns, constant scorstreaks etc only become common for me when I come close to legendary.
I stop playing rank as well a few days after I became leggendary, is too toxic right now😢 hope they nerf the time to kill of some gun and correct the head glitch spots but idk
yeah my phone kinda struggled on hardpoint since this update, so i grinded legendary only playing s&d had to change my main drh loadout to m13 to atleast have a chance to fight them mx9s
The problem with CODm is that it isn't really balanced. They've taken maps from Bo2 to MW and included guns and lethals from other CODS that just don't make the game balanced at all. Nuketown for example doesn't play well with the inclusion of termites and skill operators yet they merged everything from 5 games into one and didn't think about the balancing issues it would cause. We as players have found a way to play through them and adapt but beyond the surface certain guns are not meant for certain maps as they are not balanced. Just my two cents
With every new season they will add a new weapon in order to sell more legendary and skins. The Dev team probably scrambling trying to balance all of them and new guns keep getting added to the point where the only way to balance the game is to remove some them or give them same stats and tweak it later. I rather have a weapon with same stat with that other gun instead of SMG or AR that is dominating their own category leaving the older guns to rot and be forgotten
I agree. All these old maps and guns they release from CoD4 through bo2 were from a time people didnt have unlimited sprint, sliding, and super fast mobility.
Why cs go as a competitive game did so well is because they have lesser guns which means they don't have to tweak the meta every so often. The Dev can just focus on making new maps and bug fixes The old 2019 weapons In cod mobile are all dead
Your reasons are same as mine but I had one extra reason, the bots in the rank match was just so absurb, they always kill at a very long distance while using smg and hip fire. I don't know this season if the bots are fixed, I quit before the ranking system got change.
i am on a low rank(Pro iii) So i dont have that many issues like these but still meta abusers are their in these ranks inclding melee abuser, holgers and mx9s, sometimes even rpd campers
RPD is tolerable, but other, especially Mx9, none of that sonofabitch attachment gives any disadvantage on that gun, whatever your attachment, the gun stats will go up, compare with other gun, like the tactical grip on m4 slows you a bit but on mx9 it speeds you up while maintaining control, at this ratw, Garena/Activision just trolling with us

But when I play ranked they use every gun including chicom.when you are playing ranked and you find MX9 or Fennec users you also use a MX9 or a Fennec,so you can also kill your enemies easily.
my opinion, persistence is fine as long as CODM restricts hardline to be combo-ed with it, and persistence score streaks can only be activated once per match. It is more like call of score streaks, more VTOLs and airstrikes than f-ing gunplay.
Perks do not need a nerf, they just need to make all best perks of one colour slot. Like, if they make quick fix a red perk then you cannot use persistence without the healing loss of quick fix. The guns and secondaries definitely need a big nerf like qxr.

Me who is stuck at 6500 points I would have already reached legendary if none of this even happened. It's even hard to counter mx9 in smaller maps like-nuketown, stand-off Man they should nerf persistence -like if you die your score streat point should be cut down to half of which you scored in one life go

I haven't used the Mx9 in over a week because I'm grinding to put the Diamond skin on the Mythic M13. And during this grind i also see that the Mx9 is EVERYWHERE.
I only play SnD and I only camp and hold corners while guarding a site, guarding a flank, guarding the bomb either when dropped or planted. and I mostly use AS VAL, M13, and DLQ33 with Crossbow or renetti as a secondary. (I only use grenade and either trophy system or heart beat sensor)
There was a time that kn and cordite were the best guns in the game, but lk, bk ak117 and hbr were just about as strong as that two meta weapons. I missed clutching in a snd game with a reddot ak117 so much...nowadays everyone is running mx9 and abusing its strafe speed(just feels like the high mobility qq9 meta, but worse), not mentioning stronger skill based match making, persistence+hardline(even in pubs), double thermite&double gas grenade spam, ranked is just too annoying and stressful to play

Totally agree with you ranked matches really sucks but this is not the only thing that piss me off and make me very sad about this game it's also because of my kills, every single match is just 10 or 9 kills and my allies are always 15 or 20 kills 😢
And it is not because I'm noob or something but is because I'm passive player that uses og guns while my enemies and allies uses meta or broken guns that is pretty disappointing because in the old days I always got 13,15 and 20 kills sometimes with any gun but now the last time that I got 15 kills was with the bizon because I was trying to prove to myself that those guns are broken and they really are

Thermite, molotov and melee the bane of my grind in ranked. This three exist from lower ranks to the top. Others like meta guns, constant scorstreaks etc only become common for me when I come close to legendary.
I only play ranked for the skin reward but after this season's rank system update its just so hard and i think ima just give up

The problem with CODm is that it isn't really balanced. They've taken maps from Bo2 to MW and included guns and lethals from other CODS that just don't make the game balanced at all. Nuketown for example doesn't play well with the inclusion of termites and skill operators yet they merged everything from 5 games into one and didn't think about the balancing issues it would cause. We as players have found a way to play through them and adapt but beyond the surface certain guns are not meant for certain maps as they are not balanced. Just my two cents

With every new season they will add a new weapon in order to sell more legendary and skins. The Dev team probably scrambling trying to balance all of them and new guns keep getting added to the point where the only way to balance the game is to remove some them or give them same stats and tweak it later.
I rather have a weapon with same stat with that other gun instead of SMG or AR that is dominating their own category leaving the older guns to rot and be forgotten

Why cs go as a competitive game did so well is because they have lesser guns which means they don't have to tweak the meta every so often. The Dev can just focus on making new maps and bug fixes

Your reasons are same as mine but I had one extra reason, the bots in the rank match was just so absurb, they always kill at a very long distance while using smg and hip fire. I don't know this season if the bots are fixed, I quit before the ranking system got change.

RPD is tolerable, but other, especially Mx9, none of that sonofabitch attachment gives any disadvantage on that gun, whatever your attachment, the gun stats will go up, compare with other gun, like the tactical grip on m4 slows you a bit but on mx9 it speeds you up while maintaining control, at this ratw, Garena/Activision just trolling with us

If you have a gun with fast ADS movement speed, you can counter the MX9 by moving while shooting.

But when I play ranked they use every gun including chicom.when you are playing ranked and you find MX9 or Fennec users you also use a MX9 or a Fennec,so you can also kill your enemies easily.

my opinion, persistence is fine as long as CODM restricts hardline to be combo-ed with it, and persistence score streaks can only be activated once per match.
It is more like call of score streaks, more VTOLs and airstrikes than f-ing gunplay.

Perks do not need a nerf, they just need to make all best perks of one colour slot. Like, if they make quick fix a red perk then you cannot use persistence without the healing loss of quick fix. The guns and secondaries definitely need a big nerf like qxr.

I dont played ranked mp anymore
I only play SnD and I only camp and hold corners while guarding a site, guarding a flank, guarding the bomb either when dropped or planted. and I mostly use AS VAL, M13, and DLQ33 with Crossbow or renetti as a secondary. (I only use grenade and either trophy system or heart beat sensor)
There was a time that kn and cordite were the best guns in the game, but lk, bk ak117 and hbr were just about as strong as that two meta weapons. I missed clutching in a snd game with a reddot ak117 so much...nowadays everyone is running mx9 and abusing its strafe speed(just feels like the high mobility qq9 meta, but worse), not mentioning stronger skill based match making, persistence+hardline(even in pubs), double thermite&double gas grenade spam, ranked is just too annoying and stressful to play
Stopped playing ranked for while cause i literally got 4 match where everyone was with melee and persistance.
In mp rank there also bot on your team and if win it short add experince and if defeat too long decrease exp.
i enjoy the snd match becuase uhhm idunno but im always sweating at snd because my team keeps on dying and its a 1v4 situation now with a sniper
