Actually, U (technically) can have 2 slots in MTS if u change the bottom one (replace piano). That one is global and affects whatever midi channels u want.

You talk about Atom Piano Roll 2 and other midi plugins. How do you access and use these plugins from within AEM? Thank you again! - Ron
Thank you for that!! I’m glad you enjoy the videos! So Atom Piano Roll 2, Scaler 2, and other apps I may have mentioned being used inside of AEM are 3rd party apps you grab from the App Store. Once you grab them you’ll then be able to use them in AEM. Think of these like VSTs are AU on desktop but these (AU midi fx) are specifically made to modify/drive/control the midi parameters of a track.

No problem! Yes they should automatically show up. To be sure I like to make sure AEM (or any daw/host) is closed and then open the new app stand-alone. After that I open AEM and it’s in the menu just like it would be on desktop.
I LOOOVVVEEEEEEEE Atom 2 and I take it Everywhere with me!!! I use it in a lot of DAWs. It’s midi editing is great. It’s got ghost tracks/notes and scale highlighting and even scale locking a midi controller (including the on screen piano in AEM) Let’s back up a moment though, what is it that you’re trying to do and what iPad/iPhone are you using? Is AEM going to be your hub for making beats or tracking vocals (or something else)? Also, what apps, platform or hardware are you coming from?

Yep! I just prefer having atom in the mix since I like it’s midi editing better

Use scaler control as a midi fx and hit the record button at the top of the window
