Can you please tell me how is it a good protection dog or family protection dog if it's such a hassle and danger to be around? I have been trying to figure that out a long time now. Which blood line would be the best (or least worse) for family pet? Thank you!
It’s a lot of variables to consider. It’s all about lifestyle. It’s all about the level of training invested in the dog as well. Most trainers consider this breed because of their versatility and ease of training. An experienced handler wouldn’t give a dog that he/she hasn’t invested the proper time training and understanding its temperament a high level of trust. All protection dogs/breeds have to be watched around children. Im not gonna get into bloodlines. That’ll take to long.

A good Dutch Shepherd is definitely not a good family dog!
