We ought to keep talking about this until everyone comprehends the difference between a dominance hierarchy and a lawful government.

It blows my mind how dificult it is for people to consider the effects of biology and evolutionary history on the current behaviour of humans. I went to a liberal college to study biology and in a Womens Studies GE class I just mentioned that there is some connection between our behavior and the fact that we are aninimals with millions of years of evolutionary history. It wasn't even an option to talk about that. They almost mobbed me and strung me up. That was circa 96 and I think today if thay happened I might have been written up and expelled. For mentioning biology. The concept that University is a place for open exchange of ideas and knowelege is disapearing in many ways. I agree that people have a right to not be oppressed or harassed. But by mentioning a topic that is simply just evolution I was oppressed and harassed. I felt that way for many reasons while being educated in a hyper liberal environment. If a woman had tried to make my point she would have been able to finish her statement. I was a man in a 67% women school and I wasn't allowed to speak long enough for anyone to understand my point. At point does perceived sensitivities outweigh logic? I say percieved because nobody bothered to listen to me they just saw a man and they assumed that my point was oppressive before they even heard it. Fighting imaginary hate with hate. I am not making a case for why people should feel bad for me as a man I am just pointing out some observations.

Oden Son This is a very late response but I’m a woman and I agree. It’s abhorrent how the universities have been infiltrated by the radical left. They’re not conveying truth, and they’re teaching people to submit to the status quo instead of teaching them to think critically. It bothers me when I see pc leftists shutting someone up without hearing them out first, and a lot of women seem to follow this group-think mentality of censoring and moderating speech.
Also I’ve noticed that a man who’s had the same experiences in life, earns the same, has gained the same achievements, is on the same level of attractiveness, would be seen by many women as less valuable than themselves. Lots of women expect more. They know they can be selective so they often let this get to their heads, which leads to them thinking they can treat men they deem inferior or not “with the program”, like crap. They’re often also overly influenced by emotions when a disagreement arises, and think if they shout their views in repetition and slander the other side, this will win people over. And they don’t bother to learn how to debate because they think the other side should just automatically believe them, without having to be convinced to. Because if the other side doesn’t, well then they’re evil and a lost cause. So basically “fuck em”.
So much for leftists being tolerant and wanting to help others. But yeah I think this is why radical leftist women in particular are so quick to call Jordan a Nazi, JK Rowling a transphobe, and you a bigot. They throw people into the sin bin because they’re too arrogant to consider that they might be wrong, and they know they’d lose in a debate because they never bothered to learn how to engage in one
And obviously not all women or left-wingers are like this - I only speak of many I’ve personally seen, and of the majority of women who are left-wing. And most of it is learned, I believe, but some of it is a reflection of female biological tendencies. Those tendencies to be selective and emotionally fuelled and group-oriented can be used for so much good though, which many women know. It’s just that far leftism has distorted these qualities, which I think is because it attracts mostly broken young women who didn’t have positive male role models
This reply is so muddled as I’m very sleepy but yeah. Just some thoughts

I find alot of families who are old school run like how the chimps work as explained, where it was all on the males to make all the decisions and pretty much any male strolling by can snag a mate, women are ovulating a male should pick up on it.
I think there may be chemical imbalances in the last 60 years of industrial way on what we consume and the way we are structuring our basics needs of living healthy life. healthy life and libido is very akin to not just looks but how the body is maintained.
I think now with women having more choices they can decide what traits they want can gauge their biological clock on when to have babies, factor in finances and communal strength so now men have to be on their A game now vs how it was before. both women and men have the same responsibilities now and it then needs to be decided on mutual benefits.

There was a JP lecture from this series (same lecture room IIRC) I watched some years ago, which touched on the size of a person's friendship group relating to their IQ (chimps were also used as an illustration) and it included the Biblical stories of Sodom and Gomorrah to illustrate what happens when a society is too large, or too small for individuals to feel like they make a difference. I may be recalling it poorly. If anyone knows the video I'm referring to , a link would be most appreciated, as I've been searching for it, but to no avail.

1:38 We actually have evidence of neolithic societies with city or near city sized population centers that show little to no evidence of wealth or class distinction. Now we don't know if they were nessesarily not hierarchal in any way but it does seem to contradict a lot of our assumptions about civilization.

    • @isolatedbrain1383

Hierarchy isn’t just about resources. What evidence could we possibly have of class distinction in chimps? The only evidence is their reproductive success. The ultimate cause of hierarchy is differentiated access to reproduction.

1:24 and he's making the triangle/pyramid sign. I just had some green leaf. This is hilarious. Yes. The alpha beta omega heirachy still exists. I think the greek alpha beta ceta degenerate, Eeeeee!!! System is a bit better. Alpha is alpha. Duh. Beta is second aka, helping, aka competant loyal, like a bodyguard... Sort of like an above average. Smart enough to recognize and imitate the alpha if (s)he is busy or otherwise incapacited. Ceta would be the C-students. Theyre busy following the rules, having fun, and doing thier own thing. Very neutral. Should try being beta, once theyre ready. Then delta. Degenerate. Omega. Those are peace makers. Theyre fairly desperate. Theyre at red alert. Almost failures. Probably commies. Then there's E. Thats a screaming vowel. Thats freefall. They need alpha's help. Lol.
