The part of the lyrics that says "Sarusa" may be a reference to the pistol, the Sar USA. This can be backed up in the MV at the end, where the protag is holding a gun. What kind of gun? A pistol.

I love this SO much!!!~ the only thing bothering me is the high notes like at 0:49, they actually go TOO high compared to the original and it ends up sounding out of tune. Aside from that, your voice sounds so nice in this cover

im really sure its supposed to be based on miy_yuu’s cover for the song, which is imo the best version of wozwald, where the pitch and volume changes a lot.
I think it represents how the main character is losing his sense of reality as he falls to the depths of depression from losing his father... Just me?
Catherine Vo yeah but imo there’s more like. control (?) in miy_yuu’s version. i’m not sure how to put it bc idk much about music but rachie’s is a lil too jarring (i still love the whole cover don’t get me wrong but that part is a lil off
Frostycloud He does it a bit more quietly and the vowel is less wide (idk if that’s the right word uwu;). I think that’s why it works better

Hey, you actually did it.!! Didn’t really expect you to do a cover though because if I’m not mistaken you once said in a stream you’re not quite fond of the song.
A while back I commented on Juby's cover of this song that it "lacked soul." Something in her voice just wasn't there. She wasn't getting across the emotions behind the song like how she always does.
Clearly that has nothing to do with the lyrics, because this blew me away.
To me, Juby's cover gave the impression of someone who no longer feels anything because of what they've been through; Numb.
Meanwhile, Rachie's cover gave me more of the "I can't to accept this kind of reality" kind of vibe. I can't really say which one's better or which one is worse, since they strike me differently.
@@flyingeli1140 "No longer feeling anything" is ironically a very distinct feeling. If that was Juby's intention I don't think they did a good job of getting that across.
honestly, to me juby's covers focus mostly on translating and not the singing itself. it's heavily auto-tuned and sometimes the music takes over her voice. i don't think juby is that great at singing but since she's someone who has the most english covers on japanese/korean songs makes her popular as people want to hear the song in their own language.
