One day more
Another day, another destiny
This never-ending road to Calvary
These men who seem to know my crime
Will surely come a second time
One day more
I did not live until today
How can I live when we are parted?
One day more
Tomorrow you'll be worlds away
And yet with you, my world has started
One more day all on my own
Will we ever meet again?
One more day with him not caring
I was born to be with you
What a life I might have known
And I swear I will be true
But he never saw me there
One more day before the storm
Do I follow where she goes?
At the barricades of freedom
Shall I join my brothers there?
When our ranks begin to form
Do I stay, and do I dare?
Will you take your place with me?
The time is now, the day is here
One day more
One day more to revolution
We will nip it in the bud
We'll be ready for these schoolboys
They will wet themselves with blood (one day more)
Watch 'em run amok
Catch 'em as they fall
Never know your luck
When there's a free for all
Here's a little dip
There a little touch
Most of them are goners
So they won't miss much
One day to a new beginning
Raise the flag of freedom high
Every man will be a king
Every man will be a king
There's a new world for the winning
There's a new world to be won
Do you hear the people sing?
My place is here, I fight with you
One day more
We will join these people's heroes (I did not live until today)
We will follow where they go
We will learn their little secrets (how can I live when we are parted?)
We will know the things they know
One day more
Watch 'em run amok (tomorrow you'll be worlds away)
Catch 'em as they fall
Never know your luck
When there's a free-for-all
We'll be ready for these schoolboys (and yet with you, my world has started)
Tomorrow we'll be far away
Tomorrow is the judgment day
Tomorrow we'll discover
What our God in Heaven has in store
One more dawn
One more day
One day more
Beautiful!
Bravo!!!!!!!
Great arrangement! May I use this for a parody?

@@CharlesSchifferSymphony I have the same guestion and I just emailed you about it:)
Use the London Cast Recording for guidance. This seems to blend together like it's underwater and that terrible violin section at the beginning. Also missing the triangle tings. Also Javert first time singing should be I will join these little schoolboys. Then in the second time "We'll be ready for these schoolboys..." Sequencing is important. The little details matter greatly.
I agree. Don't know why people keep using the 25th anniversary orchestrations. They're terrible! Thankfully this one uses them mostly in the beginning and the rest sound like the original John Cameron orchestration which is by far so much better than the ugly new orchestrations which tend to go very quiet and thin during some parts then get super loud and bombastic. Originals are lusher, more intricate, fuller, and add so much to the work that the new ones subtract.
The whole purpose of the 25th anniversary orchestrations was to reduce the size of the orchestra. Don't fall for any claims it is supposed to be "updated" and is more acoustic and less synthy than the original. That's a bunch of B.S. The originals were updated in 1995 and were heard for the first time in the 10th anniversary concert in London. The update did away with that 80's synth (which I love) so that was taken care of back then. Any claims it is the reason for the new trainwreck are simply lies.
Apart from that, this track is well made. Realistic sounding instruments and well sequenced. It'd be perfect if it did away with the 25th anniversary reductive orchestrations.
To each his own. Personally I love the new arrangement.
@@samroberts8282 Absolutely nothing wrong with liking it but I'd probably have to slap you silly if you liked it over the originals. Just kidding.
as for javert's part, "I will join these little schoolboys" was very temporary and only ever used a few times so it's understandable he didn't use that line in this video
in the original london, broadway recordings and all other recordings, he sings "We'll be ready for these schoolboys" and is only heard singing "I will join these little schoolboys" in the complete symphonic and 10th anniversary recordings
