Genuine question, do you typically look at comments before the video starts or is it just the UI on the device you watch? Personally I never look at comments until a video is over, but that may be the minority
@@imattypattyi very interesting, thank you for letting me know about this & explaining it to me. I’ll start pinning a comment of mine in tournament videos to help avoid it at least at the start of matches 🫡
That was a close one, I think the Shanks might have played differently if he had seen other cards, I feel like his hand forced him to be very aggressive. That play Kaya, play Law, bounce Kaya and Law play was actually pretty genius. Don't think I would have seen that
@atrocioustcg If he could have dropped 8c Rayleigh on curve there may have been a slower but safer way to play. Gotta say I'm not quite convinced of Strawhat Shanks yet, but the concept is definatly interesting
This was a surprisingly close match at the end Did not expect it would go down to the wire like that Props to the doffy player on gathering counter power in that final turn
If the Shanks kept his Makino, couldn't he have juiced up his Nami 1 cost to 5k, and then with that Luffy, give the rested don to leader so then he can do a 5k swing with Nami, a 14k swing with the luffy restand the don, and then finish off with a 7k swing from leader. Does that not get him the win?
The way he went held 7-9-9, & the 13k counter was exact math to get out of it. 5k Nami, 14k from Luffy is 8 don which is all but two 1ks so yeah, actually that method would have done it I think (if I did it all correctly)
I was thinking somewhat the same thing, im like man if he kept the Makino he could boosted the luffy all the way for a 18k swing and the rest with Lead for another 6k if the 18k wasn’t enough 🤣
Now that we’ve met at locals definitely gotta show love on here that was a great match could have went in any direction that law bounce for the perfect amount of dawn was insane
Love watching your commentaries my man! They really help me learn the meta decks and how to play against them. Thanks!
Thank you for the support! 🫶
Man the top comment instantly spoiling every single time is so aggravating

Just wondering if I should make & pin a comment instantly to avoid this from happening in the future!
On mobile it populates with the ads/beginning of video simultaneously. Often spoiling, even if only at a glance
I never seek out the comments prior to the gameplay

The shanks deck I feel like it’s just more aggro, as what you should probably do in the matchup

That was insane that he ended up with just the right amount of counter... good move on the counter searchin. And how lucky! 🤯 lol
Yeah clean play by Doffy!!
I was really rooting for Shanks. As he has an unconventional build
It’s so cool!!!
Quite interesting to see how different this OP-10 / starter deck version of Shanks is from my OP-09 version.
It’s super unique, and I wonder if it catches on in Japan / the west

Yeah it was such a fun game to watch!! I hadn’t realized it until after he did it, but I think his move of gaining counter was 100% correct!

It was such a great move!!! Didn’t realize how much it would gain him. Thank you for the support 🫶
*Jojo menacing text appearing when shanks has 2 don open*
LMAO this is so real
If you end up finding the shanks list could you try and let us know? Plz thx
I’ll post it in our Discord if I see it!
Man I hate doing math to go for game so I feel the shanks player on this one 😢
It was so close!!!!! They had a great run though, top 8 is great!!!
first i watch this video 20 seconds affter upload
Nice 🤟
Damn this match was so cool
I know!!! I loved it
Great video atrocious 👍
Thank you! 🫶 I think I did alright with the abstract deck shanks had!
this was such a good match
I hate that the asian had to wear masks. It's really hard to pick up their emotions. It may be intended, but still ...
How many times have you heard of an NA player getting insanely sick after big TCG events? If anything, the rest of the world should wear masks
Terrible take
@ never. But that's not my take. There is a reason why the face is also displayed in a stream ...
The players are probably glad because it helps with their pokerface
@ it’s actually super common in Japanese culture to have a mask to prevent the spread& avoid getting sicknesses.
