Most ppl are saying tv shows brought them here or something like that but my first memory of this song was driving through the mountains with my parents when they were still together and my siblings. It was the best trip I’ve ever been on and this song was almost constantly playing in the background. I have my parents to thank for my music taste, love this song❤️
2 years later Hi-Fi Rush player that met them through a videogame, they're fantastic, absolutely loved them Even if memories never come back, I'll make sure to do greater ones with what I have now
Not complaining. Just trying to raise some awareness. I'm sure the Joy Formidable didn't mean for their songs to be only half heard. Trying to give this talented band the recognition they deserve, that's all.
After listening to this multiple times. I got to say, this song is nice, so much so that i needs a cover in languages like German or Russian like how TJF did in their native language of Welsh. From someone who is probably the only TJF fan in the Philippines.
I do have the whole album. I just cant listen to it when I am not on my own laptop. And just so guys know, you guys are missing out. This song goes for almost 7 minutes long and it is amazing.
What does it matter how you got here? If anything, I'd think a fan would appreciate The Vampire Diaries for bringing attention to the song. Would that not be logical? So many more know about this song which is amazing. I say enjoy the music with the rest of the peple here (regardless of how they got here)
I agree with everything you said. But you're talking about people who listen to more of Joy Formidable songs, but would it make somebody a fan if they were to only like this song because of the show? If you really like the band, it doesn't matter who told you or how to you got into it, but if you really listen to the band.

I understand that it is upsetting when someone calls themselves a fan for liking one song. But then again, what if some of the newscomer might actually turn into a fan because of this one song.
