Definitely want to see more of this. At least through liquid water (blue sky>clouds>rain>liquid water). Even the early stages are so satisfying but then looking through the blueprint sections and the stages to unlock stuff you realize you barely scratch the surface. Another thing I didn't realize is that power generating equipment is for the whole planet and doesn't need to be attached to the structure. You could make a whole solar farm in the distance to power your current structure.

So glad you came back to this. So question: even though you have already played some, how much backseating is allowed?
Also, without spoiling things, highly recommend you build your base at a higher location.
Rockin the Spacex t-shirt while playing this game playing it myself and what i've noticed is that it will take time and effort which i have nothing against, i like the game! Would love to see more. I have a pro tip for exploring but only if you want it ;)

Just a heads up that you built in a dry lake bed. At some point it will refill with water and your base will be flooded. Its not the end of the world, just an inconvenience.
You should play infected
When out exploring you can build a room and door to gather oxygen back
