This theory is forever canon in my heart
Something I really like in the FNaF series is how it’s established in multiple places of the lore that the animatronics who are possessed by dead kids would NOT want to harm or kill other kids but this isn’t the case for adults probably because of their adult killer. The FNaF Movie is (kind of) the only exception to this rule with them trying to make Abby into them with a springlock suit.
Indeed, it makes the animatronics possessed by the MCI more interesting. It is interesting how in the movie continuity they are willing to kill Abby, but my personal hypothesis is that it could be because William has more direct control of them in the Movie Continuity.
They didn’t want to in the movie they were forced by afton
They weren’t meaning to kill Abby, they didn’t know better. It made more sense to me that Afton simply told them that Abby would be like them if they put her in the suit, and they just wanted a new friend. They never try harming her at all throughout the movie, they just want her to “join them”
@@kabirkohli6623No, they wanted to make Abby like them by putting her in the suit and thereby killing her, the suits can be possessed by the souls of whoever dies there, which is why the animatronics are possessed by children, why William Afton “always come(s) back” after the spring lock failure, and the animatronics wanted to put Abby in the spring locks so she would possess that suit and become one of them.

Isn't it part of the lore that the Animatronics have a link to criminal databases and facial recognition? Like they are kept on stage because their programming glitched and they consider Adults threats to the kids?
It's only the Toy Animatronics that have a link to criminal databases. Phone guy talks about it in FNaF 2 (Night 1)
Only the animatronics in FNAF 2 have criminal database systems, the FNAF 1 animatronics are kept to the stage because of the Bite of 87, which happened when the animatronics were allowed to move around during the day.

Well, they are children so I think good or bad. It’s true that it depends on perspective and their true understanding of their actions. They understand that their actions are wrong then they’re not good Joseph they don’t fully understand them. They’re just naïve children who are angry at everything

Wouldnt they all be good guys they were kids tbf and they werent trying to kill the person they thought that they were an endo-skeleton and endo-skeletons without a suit werent aloud so they would take the people to put in a suit which in turn killed them but they werent trying to kill them just trying to follow the rules?

That's Phone Guy explanation in FNAF 1, which is a fine interpretation. However, as shown in newer FNaF media, the animatronics also see any adult as threats to themselves because of the leftover knowledge of who killed them, that being an adult who hid in a mascot costume.
