Oh my gosh! I thought I was the only one to experience a problem at a United gate with a Turkish booked ticket. A few months ago on a OGG-DEN flight, I had no problem checking in on the United app and even printing a boarding pass at an airport kiosk (no checked bags this time). Everything was normal until my partner and I (who each had separate TK PNRs) were pulled out of the boarding lane while someone on the phone “fixed our tickets”. No harm no foul, as they were able to fix the issue before the door closed - but wow. It was a similar issue as you described on the pod where the ticket need to be reprinted. I was given no further explanation than that. I’ve flown 4 other TK-issued flights on United without issue.
Great stuff guys! I upgraded my Boundless card to the Ritz card a month before the renewal(this January), and the 85k FNA post 2-3 weeks after I received the Ritz, plus it kept my 35k FNA through Feb of ‘25.

It was mentioned when speaking on "AWARD SEARCH TOOLS" (43:10 into the podcast) the Commment "ALL THREE TOOLS will allow for FREE CANCELATIONS" I find this comment VERY confusing. These are search tools, have nothing to do with "BOOKING" the actual flight with points. What does the "search tool" have to do with "Free Cancelations" . Are you refering to the US Law that requires All US based airlines to fully refund filghts within 24 hours of booking?
I see the confusion. I said "all 3 of those programs offer free cancelations". By "programs" I meant loyalty programs like American AAdvantage, United MileagePlus, Delta Skymiles -Greg
I applied for the Barclays Earner business card in early 2023 and was approved in 2 days. But in 2022 I was not approved. Never submitted any documentation other than the initial application. $10,000 credit line. I was able to status match to Diamond at Caesars and just used to $100 celebration dinner credit at caesar’s.
Is there anything specific you need to do for pointsyeah to search aeroplan availability? I am on the daydream explorer tool but I don’t see aeroplan as an option under airline programs …
