Just ordered the It's Skin Li Effector, and I'm so excited! You're literally the only person I trust for skincare product/tip recommendations and reviews. It's because of you that I feel beautiful and confident. You've made my skin what it is today, and I keep coming back to support/repay you in any way I can. Thank you from the bottom of my skincare obsessed heart, Dr. Dray! ♡
It's so refreshing to see someone vlog and be so realistic with how they look. Her last clip with the hair cover and the skincare shine is so real like yes that's how a person looks going to bed. Not like some who would pretend to be going to bed or just waking up and having perfect hair and tinted cheeks and lips and perfectly placed shiny spots on their glowing face like you just KNOW they prepared for it.
Nutella 3 syllables: "nu" + "TEL" + "uh" . Italian 100% here
Exactly, noo-tell-uh
like "snookie"+"tell"+"umbrella", keep the noo and the tell and the la, and you get Nutella.
BlueColeman snookie is like cookie though
@@earthmoonstars2013 But cookie has no N. I couldn't use cookie.
BlueColeman but are you’re saying you say snookie like “s-Noo-kie?” Lol
@@earthmoonstars2013 Yes hahaha Isn't it how you pronounce Snookie? 😂
Now you can be a weather girl and warn people about the sun.
😂
The scientific name for licorice root sounds like a Harry Potter spell. 😂
BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
😂
😂
It’s wonderful how far you have come now. You’re so comfortable and confident in front of the camera, well done DR Dray 🥳🥳
Thanks 💙
Dr. Dray, I would love to hear about your educational journey, and the obstacles you had to face to get where you are. You’re the best Dr. Dray.
Yes, I am also interested to hear about her journey. 😁
You scared the ba-Jesus out of me when you got real serious and said " I've got to talk to you guys about something.". I thought you had some terrible news or something...I could feel the tears welling up...Lol!!!! On another note I am so wanting to try the licorice root serum!!! Hope you have a good rest of your Sunday and a great week!!! ❤️
Same. My chest started to feel heavy
😋
saggit eightyfour Nope..just humor
😄😄
I've been here long enough and have learned her personality pretty well, so I knew she was playing.👍🏻
Although the pronunciation of Nutella IS serious stuff.😉😄
I actually have no idea how to pronounce Nutella, but I DO know that it can never come into my house!😯
I bought it once.
ONCE.
Never again.
Oh my goodness, it's so yummy that I couldn't stop myself from going back for more.😋
Dangerous stuff, for sure!
The CeraVe Resurfacing Retinol also has licorice it in, as you noted in your hyperpigmentation video! 2 months in, I’m really enjoying that serum.
“fixing”to go run an errand. Dr. Dray, I think you are now officially a Texan!
Totally a Texan now!!! :D
Would like to hear videos on 1. HEV rays and finding the best skin protection. 2. Expiration date and storing products properly. 3. Andalou and other skin products from Whole Foods. Keep up the great presentations! !
The Italian company that makes Nutella pronounces it Newtella in their commercials. I guess that's the definitive answer. Don't worry, Dr. You're not the only one. 😉 Thank you for your fantastic videos! I love how casual and open you are, sharing your day-to-day life with us.
Thanks for watching
I love all my skincare products with licorice root... Procure Rosacare Gel and the Cetaphil Redness Relieving Night time Moisturizer! Those two have really transformed my skin. I highly recommend the combination of those two products! They are a game changer for those who suffer from acne and Rosacea and have sensitive skin as well.
👍🏼👍🏼
Wash your clothes before wearing! I worked in a shirt factory and it was dirty in there! People don’t wash their hands and handle your garment!
Plus if you buy from a physical store, who knows who tried on those clothes.
Yes that’s a very important suggestion because the clothes goes through a lot of places and hands before you purchase them.
What about outer garments, coats etc? Can't wash all coats, you just put them on and wear them!
Steam disinfects
@@DrDrayzday I agree, My husband washes all his new clothes first because he thinks using the handheld steamer is "hard" lol. I use my little steamer. Crease release is great for a few creases if you are in a hurry. Spray it on and gently pull or smooth out creases with my hand. Works great.
I missed this intro song!!!! Takes me back to your older videos!:) 💕
Love the LI Effector! Picked it up on your recommendation and I've definitely seen a brightening effect. Waiting for it to come back in stock (and wish It's Skin didn't put fragrance in their other serum formulas!) xx
Can i use it with derma pen?
I bought this because of your video on “dry, dehydrated skin” (i have super dry skin and also hyperpigmentation but I didn’t care much for the hyperpigmentation fading effects... i just wanted more moisture since my cerave cream can only do so much) AND MY HYPERPIGMENTATION IS DISAPPEARING!
I didn’t think I would care much for the fading of the dark spots until I started seeing them go away ✨🙏🏼🥺 My skin still is struggling with moisture but the fading is so nice! Thank you for this recommendation!
Glad to hear it has helped
Krissy O The It’s Skin serum (the one in the thumbnail) 😇
@@kineybus2473 Hey! Well I apply it day and night (i wash my face twice a day since I work and live in a place with lots of air pollution. First I double cleanse (micellar water + the vanicream gentle facial cleanser) then I apply this serum once my skin is still a bit damp (not too wet where it’s dripping and not too dry where it feels tight) then i put on a cream moisturizer (i use cerave cream that comes in a jar)... i hope that helps!
@@kineybus2473 oc! Let me know if you have any more questions:)
@@lyssbeth How was ur experience with It's skin Li effector ?
This has now been 'upgraded' to the power 10 firefighter, they have ruined it!!! it has rose oil and juniper oil, can't believe it! this was my holy grail product, there is nothing that will replace this for me 😢
Why are oils so bad?
Lol the green screen! But the fact that you aren't resting on safe and looking for new ways to entertain us is greatly appreciated!
the nutella part was so funny! and yes I'm afraid you were pronuncing "nutella" wrong. btw I'm the type of person who spends hours reading the products' ingredients and sometimes I feel judged by the others shoppers hahah
Nothing wrong with being an informed shopper, and checking out the ingredients list :)
I’m standing still here reading, DONT run me over please 😝😝😝
It is good to be the informed
I always pronounce it like NEW- TELL- A
Lol
Ok, you got me with the “serious moment “. I laughed out loud when the Nutella jar came up. 🤣
😂
Happy Saturday Dr. Dray!🥰💕 I just want to thank for your helpful information which has not only helped myself but also the rest of my family. I appreciate your professionalism on you channel.
Thanks so much 💙
Excellent content! Would be great if you could talk about nails; ridges, pitting and white spots. Thanks.
Yes! I used to have a line of bumpy, really coarse ridges going down my thumbnail for YEARS as a kid (like from 5-17 years old) and my doc could never diagnose anything UNTIL I went to a dermatologist for acne and brought it up. He told me it was cuticle damage from picking at my cuticle as a nervous habit. I stopped and BAM no more ugly ridge!
Yes.. let's talk nails Dr Dray!!!!
Dr. Osman, I am wondering if you are a relative of me, Judith grace Osman Sisk.
I would also like to know more about this!!! Please do a video on nail issues and restoring them to their best health

Happy and healthy Sunday Dr Dray and peeps ❤️ ❤️
Thank You!! Happy Sunday!! Have a Pleasant Day!!
Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday Reed enjoy your day 😊
I bought this and honestly saw a difference in ONE USE! Best product ever thank you!
Dr. Dray I just wanna say your skin is GLOWING!!! It’s like you’re getting younger younger every video!
Happy Sunday all ❤❤. Love to start my weekends with Dr Dray.
Thank You!! Happy Sunday To You Too!! Have a Great Day!!
I live in Houston too and I'm glad you're talking about It's Skin. I've tried most of their formulas and I've been using their sleeping packs for almost a year. I love them!
this whole vlog radiates big simplynailogical energy ✨💅
I love that you’re a fellow candle lover! Doesn’t it make your home just feel cozy and peaceful? ☮️
Oh Doc, wouldn't trade you for anything. Thanks for sharing. You're the best!!!
The songs you randomly sing crack me up! Love your videos!
Been using Rosacare & really like it for my mild Rosacea. Was afraid of the green tint but it really is helpful in balancing out redness. Thanks for the rec!
A green screen sounds really interesting! I hope you have fun with it.
LOL, that was a hilarious troll, Dr. Dray. My husband and I both watch you every morning. Your videos come out right at our breakfast time in CA. :)
BTW, I also pronounced it Nut-ella for the longest time. I mean, it's made of nuts, so just makes sense.
Dr. Dray. Don’t mean to spoil your party but I’m going to miss the backdrop of your apartment. It’s so soothing and somehow makes the clinical information you share seem more relatable.
Hi Dr. Dray! I have ordered the It's Skin Li Effector to help with acne marks. Thank you for giving a thorough and scientific review. Can you advise which one I should put on first - should it be licorice or my Estee Lauder ANR serum (currently finishing my stash, but with will try Cerave's PM moisturising lotion next). Or should I do licorice last? I don't know the right order. Would appreciate if you'll be able to take notice and advise. Thanks so much for taking time to share your knowledge.
Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! I pronounce Nutella the same way you do. Loved the closet song and dance! Fun vlog!! I hope you have a peaceful evening. 💚
11:27 : Dr Dray is doing freestyle 💙💙
P.S. Those socks are cute!
Watched your blog while having my Sunday morning coffee. Really enjoyed your thoughts and perspectives from licorice root to pants to Nutella. You are a delight.
Hi, Dr. Dray. Loved todays video ❤️ I wanted your opinion on the opinion that chemical UV filters in sunscreens collect in your blood and come out in urine, breastmilk, etc.
Love licorice root! 💛 Happy Sunday!
Happy Sunday
Looks like It's Skin changed the formula of the Li Effector - but not for the better. They seem to have reduced the amount polyglutamic acid and added a lot of fragrance instead. :-(
That's so disappointing! Thanks for letting us know
Happy Sunday dr.Dray and everyone such a fun video .love those socks, candles and screen . I have been extremely happy using Paula choice azelecic booster and rosacare . Have a great day love to mom and Tybee 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Dr. Dray! When should you use the licorice root serum, in the morning or in the evening? Also, should you use it along with vitamin C or is it unsafe? Thank you!
I was just wondering the same!
Your recommendation of Its skin Li has been a total game changer for my skin. Dry, reactive skin and now my skin looks so much better. I order two bottles at a time because it’s difficult to find. Thank you for the recommendation.
Alo vera and luquice root together, alo vera itself is a brightener. I use at night on my face it's lovely
Please also mix with sun protection moisturizer
I am trying this! Thanks doc! Also, I tried the Aveeno calm and restore moisturizer last night and wow it makes my skin feel soooo soft.
Ooh, I can’t wait to try that new Aveeno moisturiser -it looks so good! 😊
Dr. Dray, your skin looks so firm, clear, and even toned. Thanks for sharing your advice.
The Nutella moment was so funny! I have always pronounced it like you with the "nut" pronunciation so if we're wrong then it's another thing I've been enlightened with as a result of your channel. Thanks!
I always wanted to try its skin products but I was skeptical because there are very less reviews abt their brand. Thank u for reviewing. I will check this out
Happy Sunday to you! Hope you and your mom are doing well! ❤️
Thanks! You too
I used to think Nutella started with a G, lol. I had never purchased it before, I just heard people talk about it.
Gnutella is a peer-to-peer network and I was really into computers when I was younger.
Have a great Sunday, Dr. Dray! 🤍
You too
Dr Dray dancing and singing is everything for me! 🤩 Love your sense of humor😁
Hi Dr Dray, Happy Sunday ! Finally a video on Licorice root ! Thank you ! I just purchased the it's skin Li Effector...any advice on how to apply it, i saw in your previous video that you used it...do you apply it before or after moisturizer ? And how to apply it on nights with differin ? Would love to have your thoughts , thank you 😍 btw your socks are adorable !!
Yes, before moisturizer
This product looks great, should it pair well with a vitamin c serum in the morning routine? I was considering to use it instead TO alpha arbitin while I get another bottle. Thanks a lot for you work!!!☺️
I loooooved this vlog!!!!!!
Enjoyed it too much. A year later. And is that a bonnet you’re wearing? 😍
Nice timing I just got this serum! It’s very hydrating and definitely leaves the skin with a glow ✨
Hi Dr Dray!Great video as usual! You should do one of those votey things on your gram stories re: Nuh-tella vs New-tella. Obviously It’s Nuh-tella!
I love the greenscreen, how fun!!! That will be so great for holidays or themed things. What a cool idea. It's so fun how creative RUclipsrs are getting during quarantine. Keeping me sane, for sure.
Happy Sunday Dr! Think they have changed the formula?? Those socks are cute 🐶
I’m having great results from using Indeed Labs Retinol Reface and Cetaphil Pro Redness Relief Night Cream.
My Li effector got delivered today, I'm eager to try it out. Thankyou Dr.Dray ❤️
You look so much like Noomi Rapace the actress. So beautiful 😊. I subbed also because I do like your in depth descriptions and very informative as many other channels only touch on subjects without further explanation.
Always look forward to your videos! Your editing journey has been fun to watch over the year lol. Do you know if lha is effective in cleansers like salicylic acid is?
Differin Restorative Night Moisturizer has licorice root and is an ingredient dupe Cetaphil Redness Relief. Not surprising as they are both owned by the same company.
👍🏼
I have been using the It's Skin 10 Li for about 3 months. It works. I use it every night and morning under my moisturizers. It has helped fade my hyperpigmintation as well as calm my rosacea.
Thank you for this, I have been wondering about the benefits of licorice as well as the its skin serums. I will definitely be purchasing the one you mentioned.
You can use the licorice extract tincture or liquid that they sell anywhere straight up for pigmentation issues, make sure it’s alcohol and sugar free.
Happy Sunday. You are so happy today! Love the Halloween candles
I have a question about salicylic acid and Cerave rough and bumpy cream. Would I recommend using the cream on the face (for blackheads and acne)? And if so would a salicylic acid cleanser be necessary or useful in addition to the cream?
Dr Dray gettin' on the green screen train! Lol I have seen some pretty cool backgrounds.
Yes please do something with the green background Halloween yaaaa!!!
Have a great day Dr Dray!💙
Happy Sunday
Happy Sunday 😊 can you share with us the steamer you use ? Thanks so much 🤩
Your skin is glowing! Can you please do a new skin care routine? And also can I use glocolic acid instead of retonoids?
I can’t wait for the fun things you are going to do with the greenscreen 😂
Lol soooooooo silly and fun Dr. Dray Dray!!! You've been a reliable companion during this "plandemic". I am seeing improvement in my aging skin and have you to thank. God bless you and your precious Mom.💖
I thought it was nut-tella too! Sounds more logical, isn't it! I didn't grow up speaking English and so when I first moved to the US and heard people say "new-tella," I was embarrassed-even though it's not even an English word, I thought I had mispronounced, among a few other words, and sounded uncultured and fresh off the boat. Thanks for sharing, gave me some new perspectives.
Watching Dr Dray as I reapply my sunscreen sipping my matcha 🍵 tea out of my lovely Totoro mug.
Enjoyed. Happy Sunday.Pray your Mom is feeling good & doing well & soon the two of you can be back together out & about again.🌈👒🌻🎃
Great content thank you doc. Is it safe to use salysilic acid cleanser everyday with other actives like retinol? Btw, it’s not nut-ella, it’s nu-tella:)
Happy Sunday! That serum has been sold out several times. Question, how long does a serum lasts you? Like the buffet
Use the Li effector and it lasts me 3 months a bottle with daily use.
@@lizberliner7 how are you liking the serum ? I wanted to give it a go, but I am a little uncertain about purchasing it
@@kunikagosain9733 I really like it, I'm on my second bottle. I just finished Accutane in June so the serum has really helped calm the typical post accutane redness, I haven't noticed a huge change in my hyperpigmentation but I've only been using it about 4 months. It also very soothing in general if my skin is feel more dry/stressed than usual.
I bought it today at target
@@lizberliner7 can i use it with derma pen?
I think I've noticed a nice brightening effect from the licorice in the Paula's Choice Azelaic Acid Booster.
Edit: LOVE the green screen! Your editing is getting so good.
Edit edit: I pronounce it like "nut-ella" as you do. Though I pay it very little attention as I don't like hazelnuts or chocolate.
I just got mine in a few weeks ago and I have noticed a difference. Good luck! I think you're going to love this product.
Hi what step do you use the aza in the routine? I have had it for 3 months now but I havent noticed any improvement for my hyperpigmentation. :( I use it after serums and before moisturizer
@@phunghuynh1545 I use it before I put any moisturizer on my face.
@@debrakirkley4590 Yeah! I've been using it for a year and it seems to be working well.
@@phunghuynh1545 I apply it after Differin but before heavy moisturizer.
Can licorice root and polyglutamic acid be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding? I know you get a lot of video requests, but, in general, it would really awesome if you could put out a video on skincare during pregnancy and breastfeeding. What ingredients are safe? What aren't? What products would you recommend? Thanks!
I LOVE YOUR PERSONALITY 🤩🤩🤩 and I really appreciate you Dr. Dray 🥰🥰🥰 THANK YOU THANK YOU FOR EDUCATING US. 😚😚😚
Andrea, when you broke into your "fresh and clean" routine, I visualized you at the hospital, very serious and professional, teaching interns, and then you suddenly breaking out into the"fresh and clean" routine. I made myself giggle!
I just re-ordered this and the formula has changed. Please review new formula now called Firefighter. Thanks!
Your adorable and just so real. Thanks for being you and sharing your world and wisdom
Hi Dr. Dray!!!!...happy Sunday....I bought this product some time ago, thanks to you 💕 ♥ 💜 and I love it... it was not easy to get; not on Yesstyle nor Stylevana.I got it finally from a local store here in the Netherlands. Anyway, i absolutely like it....it calms the redness, and it works perfectly under my sunscreen...extremely light, not STICKY, and I definitely see improvement in the brightness of my skin...it algo calms my skin after shaving. I hope i can buy it again....
Hi Dr. Dray. When do you use the Li Effector? Night or morning?
