- After watching the New Edition story I was inspired to dedicate a video to this amazing group. I choose some of my favorite clips from them. Hopefully they will have more high quality performances uploaded in the future.

I'm noticing in the comments that people are ranking the lead singers but regardless of the order Ralph is the lead vocalist of New Edition. He stood out as that from the beginning even though they have shared lead since the beginning of their career. Even after Johnny came. His sound is New Edition.
Yes-- I see a lot of people either didn't know (weren't around in the beginning or don't remember)-RT held that group down and ALWAYS did it with amazing stamina and energy. But people are easily lulled by sex and lust which is what drove RnB from mid 90's on-naturally that captures the short attention span of too many people in this Society-sadly.

Ralph has an exceptional voice, its so smooth and has great sound to it.
Bobby is THE king! he shows so much energy when he sings and dances he loves to entertain.
Ricky has a great voice and can dance, he is underrated for how talented he really and truly is.
Mike and Ronnie are the hiphop of the whole group. They can dance and rap.
Johnny is that soulful singer. He shows feeling to every single word when he sings.

Even though Ricky always was great singer, he seemed to have stayed in the back and not given much of a chance, so you never really noticed him, but if you listen to "Something In Your Eyes by BBD, Ricky shows you he can keep up or surpass any of them or any R&B singer in general. Like put some respect on his name. Not much to say about Ralph. I mean he's the lead. Who's not going to love the lead singer? Add a lil' flavor to his sound and his solo career would've been as big as Bobby's or better.

Grew up off of New Edition. 70's baby over here! All I can say is im proud of them and very glad to be one that witnessed their whole entire career reach a whole new peak. Remembering the days when folks played the radio all day and almost every entire song was a hit. Back in those days you had to have TALENT in order to be taken seriously as an artist and all of them brought it. Pattie Labelle, Aretha Franklin, Stephanie Mills, Diana Ross, Lionel Richie, Billie Ocean, The Temptations, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Gladys knight and the Pips, Whitney Houston, and so many more. Now we live in the dark age as far as music goes. Most of these artists today have 0 talent and still are famous. Oh well I guess I'll just stick to my ole school as usual. Thank you New Edition for keeping real r&b alive in 2017.

LOVE THIS ANGELFULLY! I absolutely fell in love when I was 14, the guys were 15 and 16 or so. Ralph is my love! Lol! Ronnie would mesmerized me with his dancing. Johnny can just simply SANG! Truth be told I never knew Bobby could sing like that! Loved it. Ricky's vocals have always been great. Mike's business mind was the greatest attribute to them. My walls were covered with NE posters.
