I appreciate the variety of what you read and share. Also that you can articulate your thoughts and string a sentence together. :) Happy reading from Australia.
I'm going to try to read earlier in the morning. Not my preferred time, but I want a little more quiet time when reading. Just me and the dog. And coffee.
Nice answers! I too enjoy the escapism of reading, but I would probably put education first, mainly because my reading is often heavy in nonfiction. That was the first volume of "Asylum Confessions" I've read, and while I don't know much about abnormal psychology, I'm under the impression that the diagnosis given with "one" of the patients is pretty controversial and dubious. That being said, I enjoyed the book and have already ordered other volumes. And quite frankly, there were points when I found myself just as curious about the nurse's psychology and motives as I was the patients'. 😁 That's cool that you've learned some ASL. And I pretty much have to read what I can, when I can. My work and personal obligations are just too irregular to allow for careful scheduling. Thanks for the video, and have a good one!
I agree with you about the diagnoses in the Merry/Murder volume - on all counts lol. I hope you like the series. I understand totally about reading scheduling. My problem was mostly putting an ultimatum on myself and it felt like an obligation then. I don’t like that so 2025 is going to be me cashing a reality check on reading time. Glad you watched the video, thank you!
I loved hearing your answers to these prompts, Trav. Well done! I really enjoyed doing this one too. Really thought-provoking! 😊

@@someothercharacter I actually prefer mornings mostly, if I’m not going somewhere. I have no pets but plenty of coffee!
