One of the best fielding short stops of all time.
The good old days😢 I miss early 2010s giants
Same
2010? What about 2012 & 2014 when they won the world series lol but yes they are falling off of late
@@ifixcars692 yeah 2012 2014 2010 is the years I was talking about
We have a lot of great prospects in single and double A gonna be 3-4 years of waiting
@@ifixcars692well I mean he said early 2010s so yea he was talking about those years
Best ShortStop in Giants franchise history.
Its going to be weird to watch Giant's games without him there in the future
Really the final member of that World Series dynasty "old guard".
We've seen him taking rookies under his wing, this year especially, so he knows it's coming. I think it says a lot about his character and loyalty that he's doing what's best for those players and the team even as his career is winding down. I know he tends to be a quieter guy, but I hope he comes back as a coach if the position becomes available. The knowledge he could impart and impact on young players could be immense.
@@SecretSauceyjuice Plus, now he has a 0.00 ERA. 😁
@@baseballvideos90 don’t say something like that, I’m not ready 😢. He’s the last Giant from the 2010, 12 and 14 roster. I’m still hurt from Buster Posey retirement 😭
Vizquel was pretty good also but not with us very long or in his prime
Great player, great glove. Best shortstop in the Giant's 140 year history. An absolute winner.
Definitely one of my all time favourites. So much swagger
So much swagger one of the most humble.....No taunting runners like these new guys....
Brandon Crawford was my favorite from the very beginning when I saw him at Spring Training all those years ago. He is poetry in motion on that field but he is also a great man off the field as well. I will definitely miss him🥰
All around professional
Crawford is such a wizard in the infield!
Gonna be a hard act to follow for whoever gets the role after him
Dare I say just as great defensively as Ozzie Smith
@@700Ezalb a VERY VERY close 2nd
He's sooooooo smooth. Giants HoF.
1st ballot, unanimous vote 🗳
I knew Brandon was a gamer when he first came up and was given #35 and before he accepted the number he asked Rich Aurilia if it would be cool if he wore his old number. He’s been really fun to watch him do his thing…
I remember that. Aurilia was my favorite player when I was a kid so I loved seeing Crawford sort of inherit #35 too.
that makes a lot of sense; dude grew up a Giants fan in the Bay Area, so it's no surprise he'd clear it with Aurilia before taking his number
Wonder if craw's gonna hand it down to schmitt once craw's time comes to an end...?
If I'm building a team and need a sold, reliable, no errors shortstop, makes all the plays...gimme Brandon Crawford
You got that right.!!
Best defensive shortstop of all time. Hands down is BCraw
Best there was best there will be
That reaction to readjust at 1:30 is insane, he could have been a hockey goalie damn. lol
🤣🤣 QuickHands Crawford !
Mi parador en corto favorito por siempre, rápido, aguerrido, inteligente, audaz, ufffff! Sin duda lo extrañaré. Gigante por siempre Brandon Crawford. 🧡🫶🏼⚾️⚾️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I miss watching these Giants.
We will be getting blessed with something close here soon....I can see it forming already.!!
🐐🐐
Was this recorded by a phone recording the screen of a computer? Audio sounds like something from a 1950s radio program. 😆
Just another day at short 💕
Watched him play soooo many times in San Francisco.., you could count on a hi-light per game...
Definitely going to miss watching those plays daily
beautiful❤🥺
Should be HOF. His buddy Brandon Belt partnered on so many of Pretty Boy's amazing plays.
WILL be HOF.
@@baseballvideos90 think so? despite his average offensive numbers? i love the guy. have followed him since he was drafted
would definitely put him in the top 10 of defensive ss in mlb history and the best defensive ss to ever play for the giants....not sure if that is enough to get him into the hof
giants will retire his number
he should definitely have more than 4 gold gloves...league weighs offensive numbers for the gg and that is wrong
@@thewkovacs316 Just some hopeful wishing and loyalty to my team 😆
@@baseballvideos90 that's fair
Love his demeanor
He knows how great he is yet stays humble....
Baez, Tim Anderson, Lindor on the other hand.......🤷♂️
crawford yes, crawford YES
The best broadcast team around the league
Crawford's hands are so fast, he throws the ball before he catches it. :-)
No wonder he can pitch 90mph.!
My goodness
Oh. Oh yes.
did you use a toaster to record the audio?
Naw, you got one though?
Set
Vacuum Cleaner !!!!!!
接力
Jesus Christ can he fire the ball to first, unreal
He can also pitch a 90 mph fastball...check out Shorts tab.! 👍
Brandon is probably the most focused in feeler. I have ever seen not just a great ability. But just hes got it going on. He lives and breathes shortstop. He lives in breed situations he lives Baseball probably second only to derek jeter
Another thing about Brandon Crawford I love. He reminds me of the human vacuum cleaner although the Vacuum cleaner was on third base , In Baltimore's Brooks Robinson Crawford's arm is so accurate, it's not even And his attitude is It's off the chain when something is hit. To him, he knows he can Make plays and not just ordinary plays. Love him, it's all worth watching him.
And another thing about my San Francisco Giants. When they were winning those 3 World Series in that 5 year period they had clutch hitting. They had clutch hitting they hit as a team. I watched all those World Series every single game. And they had clutch hitting when they needed it. Hell, they were Wild card team the first 2 times they won the World Series 2010 and 2012 they had to win one game. One playoff game in 2010 to get in to the big dance. A You can say what you want to about Brandon Crawford. You all that put him down because of well, you know, he didn't hit 300 cry, baby cry, baby cry, baby, you know, something I don't see yall clowns out there doing anything you cry, baby fantasy sport clowns. I'm so sick of b****** and moaners.
it was super clutch, and of course, they Madison b and the timmy l on the starting Grid. The relief pitching was lights out also. And the play Joe panic made a second base to save a game was unreal. It still might be the best play at second base In a world series.
Oh, and by the way, there's a whole lot of grilly really hall of fame calibre ball players now and even in the past, that didn't hit three hundred on a regular basis, but we're still outstanding ball players.
Even the great Mr. October Reggie Jackson. He only average 278 through his career of 21 years with 11 post Seasons. So I guess you can put him down too.
Get a better grip on the English language.
Were the announcers broadcasting on a sat phone or something?
It's the video itself
Great hands...Lets Go Brandon....=))
The smoothest fielding hands of all shortstops right now.!
Hands down the best SS in MLB history.
Facts.
@@baseballvideos90 oh please
gold gloves ozzie smith 13 , omar vizquel,11.luis aparicio 9 mark belanger, lo Boudreaux, 8etc
why is the audio so bad
I'd also just like to quickly mention how handsome and attractive he is
Bye for now Brandon. He'll be in the booth with Kruk and Kype before you know it!
I really don't see that happening with Crawfords media presence. He's not much of a talker on camera but hopefully that wasn't his actual farewell 😔😪
You're probably right. Pence was great in the booth. Ever see Brandon run drills at spring training? OMG, the dude defies gravity like an Olympic gymnast! He probably wants to be Superdad with 4 yung'ins. Smell the roses for a while. @@baseballvideos90
the best!
Not saying hes goat, however theres not many if any better defensively. And his bat at bad!!
Not to mention how he took the replacement for disposition under his wing and gave him pointers live mid game! Great defender even better mentor!
He is now a STL Card
Still a Giant forever
@@baseballvideos90 very true he is a HOF forsure
@@joycelittlejohn4985 He's also a great mentor to the young prospects coming up. Winn is in good hands for the future..
Welcome to the Cardinals
Be prepared to be amazed daily. Giants fans took his talent for granted. We got spoiled with greatness 🙌
@@baseballvideos90 as a Cardinals fan I’ve had nothing but respect for the Giants and Brandon Crawford. I’m sure he will keep his legacy going. People are upset we are signing veteran players but that’s just because we had such a young team last year and they need mentorship.
Looks like he has his 3rd baseman for help for a lot of them
There was literally 2 plays that’s it and I doubt any other shortstop make either of those plays and after watching Crawford for 13 seasons these aren’t even most of his nicest plays
@@dominickleonardi yeah I know that's why I made that comment, so many better plays than this highlight reel....
@@superstripes7646 Give credit when credit is due.
I'm saying this not because I'm a San Francisco Giants fan, a hard core giants fan at that and I am in love with Brandon Crawford. Because hes just the next thing that came along after Derek retired. But to say something kind of silly, like well, looks like he has his third basement for help. On a lot of them, you can say that about any infielder in baseball. If you've watched enough baseball, I've been watching it for 50 years. I've even watched it in person over the years. Because I've lived in 6 different states. That had teams like the cardinals and the dodgers and the phillies and so on and so on. But all I'm trying to say is. He didn't need anybody to say well, looks like some of that he had help from his third baseman. That's just cheesy, that's just chalish. That's just my take on baseball. I'm hard core base ball Also, i'm tired for twenty one years so I saw a lot of baseball in person up close and personal from college all the way down to little league
@@gerald-hl7kt Long-winded for what you were trying to say.
If it wasn't for his defense he wouldn't be close to the big leagues.
Yup. And his arm was ranked number 1 in northern Cali in college. He has a rocket. Smoothest glove I’ve seen too
Your entitled to your opinion --as wrong as it is.@4859
@@danamiller6049 He has never had a batting average over .300 for an entire season since coming into the league.
@@matthewmaning4859 Would he make your team?
@@danamiller6049 For defense.
