What are the transfers?
A lining is the lining of any type of wall that may exist in a home, whether interior or façade. The 3 most common types used in housing construction are: direct lining, semi-direct lining and self-supporting lining.
1. Direct linings: These are thin and flexible plasterboards that are applied directly to rigid and thick walls with touches of adhesive paste. The paste allows the fixing and leveling of the plates respecting an air chamber. In addition, they allow the incorporation of thermal or acoustic insulation material on the hidden face. This type of installation cannot be used on damp walls.
2. Semi-direct backing: This is a partition attached to an old or new wall with omega profiles, so called because of their shape. They are often used to cover old partitions with imperfections and give them a totally new look.
3. Self-supporting claddings: Self-supporting claddings are made up of a galvanized steel metal structure that can be made of channels and studs or U-profile and masters. One or more plasterboards are screwed to this structure. Its thickness, quantity and type will depend on the technical characteristics required.
