Every single hikaru game: 1) let's just be solid 2) he goes for this one, didn't think this was good for black 3) but I don't just have Ng5? 4) uh, he has d5, and of course he see's it 5) he goes e5, but I thought I had this move.. 6) still a tricky position, I should be better, but hard to prove 7) he goes Qc7, not the best move 8) I'm just gonna go c4, nb4 should be totally fine 9) Bb5?? No this must be losing. Yeah just a3 and I'm totally winning. 10) oh he tricked me, I'm not gonna be able to win this anymore. 11) yes he blundered **premoves aggressively in the endgame, no commentary** 12) tricky game, but we get the win
How to understand Nakamurish: Let's go here -> I know what I'm doing I don't like my position -> 0.5 down on the evaluation bar Let's eat the juicer -> I just felt to take a piece Go here, here, here -> (probably close to take a piece or mate) Completely misplayed it -> Basically oofed I should be winning -> probably he isn't (NOTE: %30 chance of really winning after a few calculations) This is losing or I don't like my position -> Probably he is in a bad position but he will win it anyway.
the intro, the victim offers en peasant thinking his opponent would accept it and add another en peasant to his resume and en peasant is forced, but little did he know he is hikaru, he is permitted to decline en peasant at will
I'm a bit disappointed by Hikaru as a content creator. If you do a tricks only run and not include the Nakhmanson gambit. The most exciting and fun gambit there is.
I hope Hikaru will give us some Nakhmansons at some point. It is great for tricks though indeed. The problem was his opponents never played into the trick lines he wanted
The problem is your opponent just plays 5...Bc5 and you don't have a valid 'trick' opening. He tried for Nakhmanson once or twice but the opponent just didn't play into it
@@itsantone8262 my interpretation is that Hikaru is multi tasking chess and chat. Most of moves are very instinctual and then he can keep his attention on whatever he's talking to chat about. Whenever he needs to think few layers deeper, the chat talk goes into background and stays on a loop until he's done with a chess problem and can get back into whatever he was saying
Yes i used the greek gift against a black african friend of mine and it worked indeed. A fun game, but the black african guy was vemry amgory and resigned. :)
He was Calabrese (from Cilico (Greek: Kylikos)), and in their majority, southern Italians are descendants of ancient Greek colonies, so it is somewhat accurate even so, but nice info, i learned sth today :) To repay you, I will let you know that in Calabria there are still some villages talking in greek dialects. Also there's a great song named after Calabria hehe
lol your definition of "earning a living" playing chess and being pros is weird. I understand you are a super GM but you need to re-evaluate your position on that. Complete blunder of a comment. I'd say your defintion of "pro" is way too off. Pro in anything is just being good. I've never heard of it being necessary to gain money to be "pro". That's called having a Career and making it a job to earn a living. That doesn't define "Pro" because that is a category of its own which is based on skill purely. I'm amazed that you think you have to make money to be considered a pro. I'm positive with 8 billion people on the planet that people play chess professionally just as a hobby (especially the top 1%).
It's "greco gift" not "greek gift", many people say the wrong name because in italian "greco" means "greek" and this type of sacrifice was invented by an incredibile italian chess player in 16 century named "gioachino greco"(incredibile knowledge of the game for the time, he was for sure the strongest player in the world in that period). In this case "greco" is a surname and not an adjective so it's not greek

Thank you ........ for the 3 months.. appreciated
13) ok lets keep going
Okay we get the win let’s keep going? *head bobs up and down while looking sideways to chat*
I could almost read out the rest of this comment without seeing it. So good

I’d be really pissed 😂
I loved that at the end. He's opponent had just enough time to say, "Oh sh

"A little bit of a hot take I'll give" new drinking game from Hikaru. Drink every time he says "hot take" and you'll finish the bottle.
I'm a bit disappointed by Hikaru as a content creator. If you do a tricks only run and not include the Nakhmanson gambit. The most exciting and fun gambit there is.
Agreed, it's a lot of "let's sacrifice a pawn through a common gambit, and now I'll win anyways because I'm a superGM"

It’s Greco not greek, it comes from an italian chess player of the 16th century Gioachino Greco
