Srsly if she put more sass and confidence in herself im sure she would be the most outstanding member in the group AND SHE SHOULD BE, she has visuals + desirable height + incredible vocals :(

In my opinion I think the first few years after GFRIEND debuted Yuju really carried the grp in terms of like vocals and shined however because of that I think she really overused her voice and I think it’s great how much the other members improved now and Yuju can rest now even though I really miss her high notes😊

some even called yuju is the golden member of GFRIEND/the ace of the group. yuju being my bias, i always expect yujus highnotes, i dont hate the other members highnotes but actually inlove by them but the way yuju does it for almost all their title tracks, she basically is the trademarks of their songs. as much as i want her to do lots of highnotes, i also want her to have much rest to recover. i am willing to wait just to hear yujus highnotes again.
And thanks for the member they improve they own vocal and not hoping for yuju vocal only... Gfriend is a whole group not a one member... nice comment anyways
erik - i agree the GFriend are not the best singers or dancers in Kpop - but with the right songs and arrangement - they can shine as well as those few groups that are all-around better - even tho this performance was kinda of flat at times - those moments when they were at their best - were exciting and made it all worth while - Yuju's performance deserves special mention - I thought her solos were better than HyoYeong's and TaeWoo's's

I'm here to support G-Friend and have to say that Ryeowook voice is higher and more emotional than Yuju's, she needs experience to improve her emotion when singing.

This is more like what being an idol is. It's not all about vocal or dancing abilities. GFRIEND doesn't have the best singers or dancers but they put everything into each performance and is willing to be themselves during the process. Truly charmed the audience and put a smile on their face.
magamo zoku I meant GFRIEND overall as in all 6 members. The only thing about their dancing is that they are in synch but Sowon is actually pretty weak at dancing. Most of them can hold a note but only Yuju and Eunha can manage difficult songs. Most of them have breathing and control problems. Being on of the "best" is pretty objective. But they adapt their styles to fit the song in their own style which I admire. They are a good rookie group but of course they will only improve from here to become one of the best.

I wasn't expecting much from them because its Immortal Songs (regular viewers will understand what I meant). I actually enjoy this performance especially Yuju's vocal. Their performance as a group is bubbly and interesting to watch. Goosebumps at Yuju's solo part and the climax. No doubt is one of my fav rookies ♥

In my opinion I think the first few years after GFRIEND debuted Yuju really carried the grp in terms of like vocals and shined however because of that I think she really overused her voice and I think it’s great how much the other members improved now and Yuju can rest now even though I really miss her high notes😊
Yuju don't need to prove her worth anymore. Anybody in Korea knows she's behind Taeyeon, Apink Eunji, Exid (i can't remember her name), in terms of vocal.

some even called yuju is the golden member of GFRIEND/the ace of the group. yuju being my bias, i always expect yujus highnotes, i dont hate the other members highnotes but actually inlove by them but the way yuju does it for almost all their title tracks, she basically is the trademarks of their songs. as much as i want her to do lots of highnotes, i also want her to have much rest to recover. i am willing to wait just to hear yujus highnotes again.
And thanks for the member they improve they own vocal and not hoping for yuju vocal only... Gfriend is a whole group not a one member... nice comment anyways

erik - i agree the GFriend are not the best singers or dancers in Kpop - but with the right songs and arrangement - they can shine as well as those few groups that are all-around better - even tho this performance was kinda of flat at times - those moments when they were at their best - were exciting and made it all worth while - Yuju's performance deserves special mention - I thought her solos were better than HyoYeong's and TaeWoo's's
@Sarah Jackson i know about singing and - while I like GFriend - they are not a group I look to for top singing - even Yuju has technical flaws that the best kpop singers don't

It was a high profile episode because it was one of g.o.d's very rare appearances on TV as g5d since reuniting so GFriend got to showcase themselves to an audience demographic they won't be able to draw on their own.

I'm here to support G-Friend and have to say that Ryeowook voice is higher and more emotional than Yuju's, she needs experience to improve her emotion when singing.
I would say that has more to do with training, but either way I agree with you. Yuju still has room to improve her vocals, but as a rookie I think she's still doing awesome :)

This is more like what being an idol is. It's not all about vocal or dancing abilities. GFRIEND doesn't have the best singers or dancers but they put everything into each performance and is willing to be themselves during the process. Truly charmed the audience and put a smile on their face.

magamo zoku I meant GFRIEND overall as in all 6 members. The only thing about their dancing is that they are in synch but Sowon is actually pretty weak at dancing. Most of them can hold a note but only Yuju and Eunha can manage difficult songs. Most of them have breathing and control problems. Being on of the "best" is pretty objective. But they adapt their styles to fit the song in their own style which I admire. They are a good rookie group but of course they will only improve from here to become one of the best.

None of them are the best dancer as an individual, but as a group, they are synchronize which added the points of their dance, also the fact that their choreography is tiring so not everybody have the ability to dance to it perfectly. This two aspects added the point of their dance skills as a group, thus making them become one of the best group in dancing. And I didnt say that they're the best as in the very top, I said that they're one of the best which mean that they're very good that they can be considered as a role model for those in the same career
