Site 37 is the BEST! We started in 39, and after a couple years switched to 37 because it is a super deep site, lots of ground space, and quite secluded. We camped there 20 summers in a row before Covid interrupted our streak. Hiked the falls in both May and October this year. Love Silver Falls!

Been there thanks to an earlier visit of yours, loved it! So green, peaceful and quiet. Hard to believe all the way there that such a unique and beautiful place is just above the Christmas tree farms.
    We will definitely be back!
Thank you for leading us to so many unique camping spots.

Jason makes an excellent point here. The South Falls alone could have earned this park the status of a National Park. But it's a State park and the magnificent South Falls is only ONE of the ten falls on the trail!!

Hey Jason and Kim, thanks so much for this, I was almost ecstatic to see this great video about Silver Creek Falls. My family lived in Ashland and Corvallis, but I was mostly raised in Salem, so we went up to Silver Creek Falls State Park many times. I only walked the whole trail with all ten waterfalls ONCE though, which believe it or not was on a field trip from Salem Heights Elementary (I'm guessing I was ten.) You've made a video I wish I could have made myself, to tell the world about this gorgeous State Park.

Great to see you guys out camping again! Beautiful video Jason. What an amazing campground. Enjoyed the Christmas lighting as well, reminds me of a theme park in Missouri called Silver Dollar City, they do Christmas lighting well also.

Thanks for sharing, you guys live in a very beautiful and scenic state. We are definitely putting Oregon as a must-see state for our travels. We really enjoy watching your videos and seeing the awesome campgrounds that you visit. With all the videos that you guys have made, just in Oregon, we're going to need more than a week 😆.

Hi, I hope you don't mind my butting in but you are correct, you'll need more than a week. You could easily spend a week exploring the Oregon Coast alone and you still would miss a lot. Then another week in the Cascade Mountains, and another one in Eastern Oregon. This Silver Falls video takes place in the foothills of the Cascades so maybe you'd include it in your week in the Cascades! BUt mind you, those three weeks would not have gotten you to the Columbia Gorge, Portland itself, or Crater Lake. In other words you need a month minimum. I know, I was raised out there!

Just glad to see that you are still out there and doing well. I always get a kick out of your videos. We have grabbed some good ideas for places to visit (and eat) from you two, so thanks for that.
Wifey and I visited the falls last year but we pusssed out and didn't do the entire 10 mile hike,I So I had to borrow some beer credits. I think I still owe a few.
We are currently trying to downsize to a truck camper so that we can access more places. Our travel trailer is too long for many campgrounds and is kind of a PIA. Not liking to RV parks too much.
Anyway, Take care you two and keep going. glad to hear from you.
