I used to sell guitar strings when this kid was 9 yrs old he endorsed our strings , they gave us all a copy of his CD,,,,,blown away!!!!!,,,you want to hear real,,,good,,,pure blues from this 9 yr old,,try to find that CD

Eric, the first time I saw you was in either 2007 or 2008 on your Feels Like Home tour. I saw you at Bethlehem's Musikfest in PA. When I saw you, I knew you were a diamond in the rough. I thought this kid has magic!! I bought your CD that night and have been listening to that and all of your music ever since. You were just a kid back then who has amazing chops. Now I listen to you and I'm just blown away at how much you have progressed. You really are a prodigy on the guitar and it shows. I love listening to all your works and concerts. Unfortunately, I don't have the opportunity to go to your shows like I did back in the day but I thank God for RUclips so I can still keep up with your progress. You are a fantastic musician and love your guitar playing. You definitely rock like all the best out there. And, you have a sound all your own which is rare, A lot of people copy and sound like their idols but I will say you don't. Sure, you take chops from your idols but you don't plagiarize solos. You make them your own and that's the difference. You ROCK my man so keep up the excellent work and I look forward to your next release. Be well to you, your family, and your entire band!

Hey thank you kindly! I use Dunlop 1.14 picks and gauge 10-46 GHS strings

Just a one hit wonder and a little commercial sounding…ala Gary Moore then full blast after that🤘
but really dont matter cause Eric’s having a blast…
If you look at all the Blues guitar players (not counting the players that have been so inspirational to many like Walter Trout, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, etc.) there are only a handful of Blues guitar players that ever reach this level and Eric Steckel may possibly be residing in that category along with Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, Alan and Steve Nimmo, Virgil and the Accelerators, Jay Jesse Johnson, and Davy Knowles. This is only my opinion and I'm sure there are a few others I left out.
