Steve has an amazing voice & you can hear the early guitar licks from Frampton on this cut. Check out Black Coffee to hear Steve’s amazing bluesy voice…
I love these lyrics. Sounds like a string of 60's British street slang. "There'll be some drivers inside your pajamas tonight," & "To feed the hungry minions, she plays blue vein flute," are a couple of my favorite lines. I wonder if "Shows her legs when opportunity knocks" was toned down from "Spreads her legs when opportunity knocks," to make it more radio friendly.
+Violet Bassett-Mathy •••I checked some of the lyrics sites & they agree with you, but it sure sounds like "There'll be some drivers inside your pajamas tonight," to me. Either way, it's a good line.
one of my fav Pie tunes. Steve's double entendres were spot on!

And never on radio. This is my all time favorite Humble Pie song.
Lived it and loved it ...oh lucky lucky boy......giving women.
Worked at a liquor store on Sunset Strip in the '70s. Perfect little tune for those times.
