Oh my heart…I’m so glad they reunited, I was worried it would be more bitter than sweet considering the song choice. This was a lovely animatic, as usual. On a related note, this makes me wish we could have seen Ingo have more direct interactions with the people and Pokémon of Hisui in “Arceus”, because he does not have nearly as much story-focused screen time in comparison to the other Wardens, especially in the “Daybreak” update.
This was such a trip, like, why was Emmet with Laventon and Rei while holding a picture of Ingo and Akari? I thought you had killed Ingo off. But then you had Ingo come jumping off of Giratina and I was like, "Oh, so he's NOT dead in this. Good. Now I just need to know where Akari is. Is SHE dead?" XD Great animatic. 👍
Hi! This is the sequel to touch tone telephone but I apologize if these were unclear. touch tone Telephone ends with the implication that while Emmet came to Hisui looking for Ingo, Ingo and Akari found a way to get back to modern day Sinnoh searching for Emmet. So they just missed each other. Emmet realized this as he sees Ingos research in Ingos house, but instead of shutting himself away he finds friends in Laventon and Rei, and instead waits and lets Ingo come back
Oh, don't mind me. I'm just going to be over here. Crying. Though actually this is excellent! This is now my favorite version of Emmet finally settling into acceptance that I've seen done with him and Ingo. A fantastic little character arc here.

I mean with the help of the legendaries and knowing where their from/getting their memory back, they could easily get back to their correct places in space and time

Whispers if you're going to choose a Pokemon to act as a parallel to Ingo's Gliscor, Emmet should get himself a Crobat. No two Pokemon more perfect for something like that, really!
If you never heard of the Subway Masters from Black and White they’re basically that Regions Frontier brains. They’re twin Brothers Ingo and Emmet. In Ancient Sinnoh a fight between Palkia and Dialga happened which created rifts in Time and Space randomly pulling in items, Pokémon and even people and randomly dropping them in different places and points in time. Ingo got pulled into one of these rifts and has mild amnesia, he remembers someone who looked like him but doesn’t remember who that person was, he remembers train terminology and he remembers how to train Pokémon. People like to wonder what exactly Emmet is doing now that his brother went missing and theirs no trace of where he went, or if they ever manage to find a way to reunite.
You know what would be awesome is if they made a movie of Ash, Iris, and Cilan traveling through time with Emmet to find his brother. To bad we'll probably never get that because (spoiler) Ash ended his journey, but most of the movies are technically not canon, I think, so still maybe possible.
