- If you listen closely enough, you can hear them both imitating the camera shutter noise on the iPhone. I still have no idea how they managed to pick that one up, but it's incredible! Save for one small pin feather on each of their heads, they seem to be finished molting for now. Much easier to clean their cages!

Your birds are honestly amazing, and so so beautiful. I love when they get close to the camera so that you can see their pretty colours. Budgies really are wonderful little babies.

Am glad to have you back! My blue and white budge, Nibbles, has watched many of your videos on my laptop (lots of poop to clean up, needless to say). A couple of weeks ago I got him a companion, a green and yellow budgie, Quigley, or Q, for short. Q is settling in and Nibbles is thrilled to have a friend (though Nibbles still seems bonded to me). Keep up the great work, please.
Kiwi certainly had a lot to say. Pixel couldn't get a word in edgewise. It's amazing how fast those little stinkers can scoot with their short legs. They can cover a lot of ground in a hurry.😘🤣😂

Pixel mimics exclusively what he learns from Kiwi. That’ll probably be the only thing he does.

Love how vibrantly beautiful your budgies are! Our new baby budgie is going through his first molt and he is SO cranky! Also curious - what percentage of Kiwi and Pixel's diet is Harrison's Super Fine? We have our lttle budgie eating it with gusto but am unsure about the correct ratio of seed:pellets:greens. Thank you!
As far as pellets vs seeds go, we feed them 100% pellets except on rare occasion. Switching tends to give them some gastrointestinal upset so we try not to do it often. We supplement with fresh veggies, fruit, and sometimes hardboiled egg and nuts.
The blue one looks like Sky my girl budgie who passed away last year. Yours is the boy version of Sky. I only have one boy, Pearl.

I've had my budgies for 2 days now and I thought they would unwind a lil bit they're still really scared of me. I've been delicate and gentile but every time I see them they freeze and don't move until I leave. Is this normal? If not what can I do about it
Expect their adjustment to take months, not days.

My budgie is losing weight and I'm not sure what to do. I'm going to try extra enrichment and possibly a diet change but I'm not sure what else to do. :(
Sorry to hear. Hopefully you have an avian vet or a normal vet that sees birds.

Pixel, the blue one, is about a year old. Kiwi is 4 years old.

Does anyone have any tips for getting my budgie to fly around more? I do allow home to it’s just he always sits in his cage and I feel he is not getting enough exercise

I has had 7 budgies 1 cannery in 30 years I had 3 men 4 feamale budgies very Hurd get a men budgie females are very Hurd to look after had to give mine away because off her egg large problem she living with somebody else now because off my health issue as I can't keep budgies no more I do miss them not molt time or bar nibbles my last feamale did destroyed cages
