Two things I want to mention!
I like the way how Matt is respectful looking in every room, politely having his hands on his back, knowing that this is stil someone elses space!!
And the second one is... has anyone noticed how clean everything is kept? All the barns , the concrete floors even though it is not used anymore? For me it looks like they really care for their property!!!

Jesse thanking Matt for his kind of sensitivity and outlook. Not competing who has the best point of view but valuing that the other brings in a viewpoint different from you. O, if all partner could remember to do that and we had a better world!

This is a property that needs a huge amount of work, but you could make it into exactly what you want it to be, if you were not in any rush and had the funds to do it. I’m loving looking around these properties, the next one looks really interesting xx

I’m loving travelling around the country seeing these properties. At first I thought yes you would love the old house but a LOT of work for you in many different areas. It would take years to get it right. You have also visited some very modern purpose built properties and the modern facilities that make it easier to care for the horses is easier for you SO big older house but modern facilities to run your business and a lot of land for future development. In the UK 🇬🇧 we would call the person who shows you around an estate agent or a land agent. He is very honest but of course he wants a sale too Good Luck with the next one. I’m enjoying your search ❤

Lovely place, very historic BUT to get it to the dream property would mean renovations, new building work, going on forever. The cost involved too, make it a non runner. So I agree with Matt. The glimpse of the next property is very tantalising and I have a good feeling about it. Lots of trees and greenery. Can't wait. ❤

Its worth renovating if you have the time & money. Its good size acreage & charming. For horses I'd rather have more acreage than less. The tree lined driveway is gorgeous. The bigger barn with high ceilings is perfect for stalls. That view outside the barn doors is ❤
Some of the other barns have possibilities...hay storage, Breeding shed, broodmare barn, guest house.
The house is charming...but I agree with Matt on the much needed renovations.
    Thank you for sharing 😊

The property had some lovely features. It’s true about having that gut feeling when you buy a property. It’s a good instinct to have. I’m a realtor in Canada. You’ll pick the one that you feel is home, I’m guessing. The properties are lovely in your country. Those beams in the former barn, that is now the house were so beautiful. The sneak peek of the 3rd property, looks like a winner. Thank you so much for film these episodes.

I love these episodes!! I could watch this all day. Especially because I have been on a 'house with land for the horses' hunt for over 3 years now. I can totally relate to what you are going through. Sometimes you are like Yes, this could be it, but get overbidden. Other times it looks like ticking all the boces on paper and when you get there it's like "naaaah, not feeling it" or being totally confused trying to like it with your head and not feeling the Yes. It's an interesting journey ;-) ...So curious of where you will end up!

Matt, I see this as a really great opportunity for Jesse and you! This would make a wonderful event/clinic/breeding property. You could live in the current farmhouse while designing a new space for yourselves. Then you could turn the farmhouse into the farm office and a gathering place for people to come and stay for clinics and other events. It has a tremendous amount of potential! The equipment building would make great timbering for a new house.

What a lovely property! Though as someone familiar with farming themselves, all I could think about was those slatted floors! There is a pit underneath for manure storage that will take a lot to remove and cover up in both barns… also a lot of low structural beams, so an indoor arena would have to be a new building! It would take months if not years and possibly a lotto win to redo something of this scale to completion unfortunately

I so hope they buy this one! I cannot wait to see what they would do with it and how they would decorate. It would be spectacular! And I know Matt loves a challenge and a chance to bring his own vision to life.

Matt is too tall for the house and the horses are too tall for the barns.
There are no arenas or walking rings and those are complex to build because drainage is needed and they have to be totally level. There are no stables.
Jesse and Matt want space to work from home with their staff and that house would need sizable extensions and renovations to suit their needs.
It's much too much work to convert it.

If you choose the 2nd property, keep the outside of the buildings original and gut and completely redesign the interiors. With that said, I already like the 3rd property from the preview. Good luck on whatever you both decide...

It is very important to listen to the first impression feeling. I have always chosen my properties like that.
