It's unfortunate that consumers purchase a saw that is a complete Chinese copy of a very venerable professional saw: that 372xp. The amount of copyright, trademark and patent laws that must have been broken to bring this "clone saw" into the USA is alarming. Husqvarna puts millions into research and development and here the Chinese with absolutely no concern for the betterment of our world just do what they do best: copy every single thing that is good from a good company and in return make everything they copy worse than the original. And consumers lap it up like they are getting some sort of deal. In the long run, the genuine OEM Husky is going to be a better buy. I re edited my post as these Chinese knockoff companies seriously make me mad. I reccomend you don't support them.
Have you ever bought an after market part for you car instead of buying OEM. Patients are only good for a period of time and then people are free to copy it.
That still doesn't make what the Chinese are doing here any less sleazy. The Chinese don't care about copyrights. And they don't care about Human Rights. These china saws likely were assembled by 8 year olds working an assembly line 14 hours a day. @@cheaphomesteading

I've been looking around at these Chinese saws they're pretty good at stealing our intellectual property so I'm thinking the saws are pretty good as well. I think that's the song I want not too big not too small. Thanks for the review.
You do realize that China DOES buy the rights to many antiquated technologies from the OEM. The Chinese atvs are built using 20 yr old Honda engine plans. This saw is an antiquated non emissions saw, it's not a clone of the latest technology like fuel injection, XTorq by Stihl etc.
How do you set the free running speed. Most engines won’t seat the rings if just take it easy, the saw. needs to be ran not babied. How long tell think it can be ran longer. Thanks for watching man
@@cheaphomesteading you seat the rings by using it. not abusing it. wide open throttle with new engines is a no go, i dont care what the engine is. what you did was a huge potential for a scored/locked up piston. if you want to tune get a tach, run in 3-5 sec interval and let it rest after 3 to 4 five second tuning runs. if you keep doing that you'll be replacing that jug pretty fast.
Theres a difference between no load revs and running under load. Adding power under load is what seats the rings. You want the rings to seat to the best seal under load because that's the condition they need to seal the best in to prevent blow by. This goes for any piston driven engine. On break in, keep the revs to about 60% redline, but dont baby the throttle either. For race engines, after initial setup and test (20 min at 2000 +/- rpm for flat tappet engines to wear the cam in) we do several near WOT runs to 60-70% redline or so, allow engine breaking down to 2k rpms, then do it again. This seats the rings.
