Hey guys! Thanks for watching. I ultimately chose the S8 as my daily driver but ran into some issues along the way which I shared in this video. Response to frequent comments: - Definitely not here to "fanboy" over Apple nor am I paid by apple lol... that REALLY wouldn't make much sense since I ultimately ended of choosing the S8 as my daily driver. -Group chat was tough because the people around me all use imessage and do not want to use third party apps (ex. in group chat with family and parents that are 60+ and don't want anything to do with third party apps like whatsapp, duo,etc..) - There's a sim card in there lol. I have two, one for my daily driver and whatever phone I'm testing. I wouldn't lie to you guys. So relax, put your pitchforks away my android ppl and watch until the end of the video!
Apple is really trying to confine you within its own world. Once you have everything branded with Apple, it's kinda hard to go back out there and experience a much wider world you can get with android devices.
Yep, locking people to their ecosystem, tried an iPhone once way after using android (may have been bias) but it was complete shit. Apps crashing frequently, no customisation...as generic as the people that get locked to their devices.
well i'm an iphone user looking to switch to android and yes i agree that apple lock people in their ecosystem but apps crashing?,no you are lying!!!!iphones are more stable than any android phone and last much longer because of constant updates, overall apple like any other company has pros and cons now i wanna switch cause i want the extra features than the samsung galaxy s8 has,and to try something new that's all if i don't like it well i'll go back.
absolutely they do happen but are very rare while on android is common, the last time i used a samsung device was the galaxy s5 and i experienced a lot of crashes and took 7 months to receive the new android update, and after that update it never received any other android update, now iphones receive security updates all the time and every new ios updates for years(still using my iphone 6 plus from 3 years ago and just updated it to ios 11 and working like a champ),that's not possible with android phones but is true that apple lock you in and i'm kinda tired of the lack of customization,my roommate has a samsung galaxy s7 edge and is able to download music for free, customize the phone however he wants and the google play store is as good as the app store,so yeah i'm gonna switch but i know i will miss the stability and constant updates that iphones offers, now i keep seeing on you tube and reviews that android is now as good as ios in that regard hope is true.
Redicebergz not at all, I use g suite exclusively for work and use all those apps on my iPhone. I just don't go back to android because the updates end after a year (if lucky)
I never get why people have difficulties when changing brands. I have tried many brands and I never have had any difficulties. They are just phones; we control them, and it isnt the other way around.
Intel Edits His reasons are like REALLY petty😂😂. He definitely has a right to his opinion and it is realistic, but some of his calling issues stem from not unregistering his email from imessages
I think the issue people are having is that he should state they are personal gripes not actual cons. From what I see the only real con between the two was the video chat quality everything else is because of different OS not because the phone
OfficiallyTwon Its not petty. If you’re in the apple ecosystem, coming out of it has its hiccups. The group messaging one was huge. Gotta convince everyone in your group to delete the old thread just cuz you switched phones. That wouldn’t be a problem if they were using a third party group messaging app. But many people will have that same problem he did. The facetime audio and facetime video are also huge. Now you can only call video call people who have a third party app that you do. Thats a real problem when switching OS that’ll make ya miss IOS.
ThisisMy Username It is petty. A few of his issues are his own fault. And group chats? Seriously? Oh, god. It's petty. Why would Apple want their devices to work across platforms? They want to be as excluded as possible.
I understand why it looks petty, but from where he's coming from, it's not petty at all. There is no simple work around to that issue, especially when everyone around you uses imessage.
This video is specifically about someone switching from Apple to Samsung. Someone interested in making the switch would want to know what hiccups they may face. Whose fault it is isn't as relevant as what someone should prepare themselves for
It’s been like this since day 1 unfortunately. Apple seems to have the big 4 ( Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter ) in their pocket. Posting up videos/pictures on social media from an android phone look weird. But yet on an old iPhone 5 they look super clear. This needs to stop.
Alexie P instagram twitter and facebook work with android specifically samsung. Apple only has snapchat and android doesn't. That is why samsung comes with filters on its camera
Manny Biship oh yes of course, they all work with android. What I’m talking about is in terms of quality. When ever someone posts up a picture on Instagram, even on the mighty GalaxyS8/Note8, I can tell. The picture/Video doesn’t look clear, colors are funny and sound is sometimes distorted. I am not the only one who notices either. And I bet it’s Apple that’s manipulating all of this from a corporate scenario. It needs to stop. An ancient iPhone 5’s media posting on social sites looks amazing but a state of the art Galaxy S8 doesn’t ? Something is wrong and it isn’t the phones.
@Wessel van Dijke So true, that's why they have to "jailbreak" their devices to get any useful functionality out them. Android is fully open and offers freedom and choice out of the box!
I own both devices! The Samsung S8+ has a much better display (2k resolution screen), 2x brighter display, charges 90 mins faster, last 3-4 hours longer, and takes better photos & video, feels much smaller in hand despite having a bigger screen, and is just plain sexier overall.
With the iphone 7+ when you take a picture, you can zoom in but it is not as far as the galaxy S8+ It's more of a double tap and done whereas with the S8+ it is a double tap and more
In my opinion that is the biggest hangup for Android users. You have several different companies that use Android os, but then they can and do go their own separate ways after that, there is no unity among the many phone manufactures that use android os. I have actually seen a device that ran android os tat was from the factory hamstrung by the maker. It wasn't even able to access the google store. If you wanted something you had to go to other outlets. Co-worker got the tablet the day before she was going on a long trip and wanted to download books onto it to read, couldn't get it to work with google store at all.
no what henry said is correct, allo and duo are great but, unlike iMessage and Facetime they're not already the main apps for messaging and video calls.
Dumbest thing apple users do when they get android phone... they try to make android phone work like iPhone and then blame android 🤦🏻♂️. Android has its own ways of doing things, learn it and use it the way it’s designed to be used. For video calls, use Duo, for chats use whatsapp, for laptop -mobile transfer use share it app and so on
Himanshu Jagtap when majority of people have iPhones, who message, video chat right out of the box without downloading anything, that’s the beauty of it With those other apps, you have to get other people to download them, iMessage is just hands down better than any 3rd party chat app
UrAvgConsumer ah damn the SIM is the same colour as the sofa then! I thought you did it because it was easier to shoot this way and not having the SIM jump out. Fair enough! Edit: Was not expecting any answer tbh
There is absolutely no way that he has put in the SIM card from the iPhone into the S8 except if it is a dual sim phone. And I really doubt there is a sim in the tray slot we can see him slide into the phone that perfectly matches the color of the sofa.
Everyone has their own priorities dude. If Messaging is THE main thing you do on your phone on a daily basis then being comfortable with the app you use is pretty damn important. He's sticking with the s8 over the iPhone in the end anyway tho, largely because of customization, but him finding a messaging app that works for him will be a priority of his. Just because it's not a priority of yours doesn't mean it doesn't matter to anyone else; you guys get so caught up in specs that you can't seem to accept the fact that everyone's needs and UI preferences are different. I'm a Note 8 fan but their native writing app(s) aren't nearly as good as a note taking app that I have on my iPad that's only available on Apple. And guess what, I *need* the ability to swiftly take high-quality, legible, color-coded notes because I'm a private Tutor for a living. The Note 8 is great in a pinch but being able to quickly access those iPad notes on my iPhone when I needed to is greatly missed.
I switched from an iPhone 6 plus to a Galaxy S8+ and I'm loving it so far. Android syncs with Google services so much better than iPhone. The customization is fantastic and I also love the way Android handles notifications. And the screen is beautiful. Samsung pay is infinity better than Apple pay because it works everywhere thanks to the MST technology. My only complaint so far is the bixby button that I accidentally press a lot.
Brian Jones I use Samsung Pay on my S8+ a lot too in Singapore and its amazing. They tell you your card isnt accepted and their system isnt updated but you get to smirk at them in the end when the receipt starts printing. Its so good!
You made the mistake of ever investing into system exclusive apps. After the whole Blackberry era, I thought people would have smartened up. These apps are designed to lack cross-platform compatibility purely to keep you locked into their ecosystem. Have friends with Android or Windows phone? Too bad. This is why regardless of which operating system you go with, you should use universally available apps. Google is at the forefront in this regard. Google Drive and Photos is great for cloud backup and sharing; Hangouts is great for instant messaging and video calls/conferences; Google Music lets you have music available anywhere regardless if it is bought through play store, or uploaded yourself; etc. And best of all, Google's apps are all free and can be accessed using your PC. So everything is accessible to you whatever device you choose to use-whether you are on a desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, and any OS - Windows, Android, iOS.
Kim Griffiths That makes no sense. You are locked OUT, not in. Even customer service can't help you of you forget your password. They don't have the power to gain access back to your account either. And if you decide to switch all your shit is stuck on ios.
+SourStrawberrys I meant "locked in" to their eco system. Either I didn't make myself clear or you misunderstood what I was saying. I absolutely agree with you! I wouldn't touch iOS with a barge pole.
How naieve must a person be to think that he /she can fly under the digital radar in the year 2017 ? They know everything you do bro ... Data mining or not. Don't believe the hype !
Dwayne Cubbins androids been trying to copy iMessage for years and kept turning out not good, so technically it is their fault. AirDrop, FaceTime, compatibility with MacBook, And Apple Watch; would still keep iPhone being sold more than any other phone
I actually completely disagree with your point about the edges. I've had the s6 edge for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I put all the apps I use within the apps edge. That way I always have a clean homepage with nothing but the time and weather and getting to one of my apps is super simple with a quick swipe of the edge. Not only are apps very easy to get to, but going to any of my contacts or even something like a flashlight is super easy to get to. It honestly took me a day or two max to get used to it and I absolutely love the edge. Personally the edge is not asthetics over functions. It looks amazing and it does all the functions I want. So win win for me
Yeah I have the agree. I just switched over from the iPhone 7 Plus to the s8 edge and I could not be happier. I was always more of a Facebook Messenger user so not having iMessage wasn't the worst thing in the world. But in terms of the edge, I know a large reason why it's there is for aesthetics, but it really is functional. I use that edge feature all the time and I also have a clutter free homepage. In terms of video image, I've never really had an issue with the edge affecting text. Honestly it just feels more immersive so I wouldn't say the edge affects video quality. It enhances it.
I'm a current iPhone user (has been my daily driver for the past 7 years or so) but am considering switching to the S9 (once it's made available). 1. Facetime. I think Skype quality beats FaceTime out and, as long as you have a Skype account.. which most people who do any sort of video conferencing have .. you can make video calls with a push of a couple buttons too. 2. Group messaging works fine with Android. The only reason it's getting pushed onto your iPhone still is because you didn't turn off your iMessages before switching your phone. 3. With certain software, Androids are actually more "cross-compatible" with MacBooks (especially if you have an older one) than iPhones are (I know, crazy). 4. Agree on the USB Type-C. I don't know why Apple hasn't switched over their iPhones to USB-C yet. 5. So sad that I will not be able to use my Apple watch anymore :( but looking forward to getting the gear S3 too!
Oh some tacky ass messaging app? Hell no. Why buy a phone that's messaging software is so garbage you need a third party application? Fuck no. Peace out Samshit
I can't believe people in the US still use SMS and iMessage and stuff.. Just use Whatsapp.. Here in The Netherlands eveeeeryone uses whatsapp, ios or android.
Jay Williams everyone but the US uses WhatsApp. Mainly because us in the US had unlimited SMS for a long time so other apps didn't interest us. But as an American college student on exchange in Amsterdam...I love WhatsApp*. I wish America would adapt to it, but seeing as how stubborn Americans are....that'll never happen.
I have tried to switch to android, replaced my iPhone 6 Plus with a note 5 , after 1 month I sold it and bought my iphone 7 plus, my guess is you will do too, when the next iPhone will arrived!!!
I've never used an android for 6 years and when I switched to s8 it's literally the exact same thing you just have to adapt to using Google and finding ways to your objective
Mysterious One still, no iMessage, air drop, FaceTime Don’t tell me “go download this and that” Cuz it doesn’t matter what I download, if other people don’t have it
Alexander ʕ⁎̯͡⁎ʔ༄ Yea I have the 6s to. I'm going to wait for the 8 because I know there has to be a huge upgrade. I have not switched to Samsung because iPhone has better features like iMessage,FaceTime, and etc
Well the Iphone 8 will mark the 10th year anniversary for iphone so thats when they are projected to do most of the things they should have done on the 7s. I'm an iphone person all the way. I just get bored after awhile and need a change and the only phones I've ever come to like that are android is samsung
it's hard watching a person consume in the iworld talk about better systems. but i like to see their faces when they realize that they was in technological bondage with apple. it's like seeing the face of a child who finally understand something they had a hard time learning. WhatsApp is by far the most popular messaging app that both iphone and Android users have. Skype has the best video quality hands down. Android gives every device a stand-alone capability like windows where you can do whatever you want without the need of a laptop
Apple charge so much more than android phones for this "simplicity". Android has so much more to offer, most of the time for cheaper. The iPhone 7 has a 720p (3 year old display), Samsung has a Quad HD 2017 display. If Apple charged way less for the iPhone then the arguments in favour of Apple would be justified.
you didnt disable Imessage thats prob why your group chats aren't coming through and you did use smart switch the transfer all of your stuff from the iPhone to the s8
Crazy to assume that everyone in your social circle will use an iPhone/imessage. And instead of blaming Apple for making the app only available for Apple users, you're frustrated at the phone's inability to send group messages??? It's so easily solved by 3rd party apps - why do you call yourself a tech reviewer if you can't even figure that out?
What are you talking about? Everyone knows group chat can be remedied with a 3rd-party app. The problem is getting people to actually download them. iMessage is built in, no hassle.
appleipodtouch2g Dammit your name 😂 why apple fanboys all have to be de same? Bahahahaha And I agree...I would everytime switch my shitty phone with an iphone 5 ;-;
Also UAC, if your having trouble texting other people on iPhones, make sure that on their contact for you, it's not set for Imessage because you will be able to send messages to them but they will not be able to send to you because their phone will think it's sending to an iPhone and you don't have that anymore. just letting you know. I had that issue when I switched.
JIMWEL I think the normal s8 is a much better deal since the finger print scanner is more reachable and smaller actually looks good and fits with the s8 and its cheaper and has all the same features and hardware as the s8+
Stubbo 242 Your right but I'm not really a heavy user all I do is light gaming social media and watch some RUclips videos.(I own a normal s8 my self and I get 43% at the end of the day and if you were wondering what specific time it would be like at "8:30")
fingerprint scanner is more reachable in s8 but s8+ has way better battery life 5 to 6hrs of SOT on S8+ as compared to 3 to 4hrs on S8 on 1080p res if you switch to 2K/1440p on S8 then also you will get 4 to 4.5 hrs of S8+ compared to 2 to 2.5 hrs on S8.
Those are NOT opinions, it's FACTS!!! It shows that video chat in Android is grainy & pixelated to compare to FaceTime and messaging is much better in iMessage than ALLO. I own S8 too but I know that my iPad Pro with wife iPhone 7 Plus using FaceTime & iMessage is much better... GOOGLE need to focus in HANGOUTS & put their resources there and make it better. Have a great day
BIGG BOSS GAMING Allo would of been a iMessage competitor if only brainless Google would of added SMS, MMS and RCS support. Google Allo could of destroyed iMessage but of course Google just has to add another communication app. Google already have Duo, Allo, Messager, Hangouts...
Overclock Mixes // Monstercat Mixes I'm well aware of why it's not widespread. I'm just stating that this is why I try to get as many people as I can too use it. I use both iOS and Android. I love iMessage but, that's really about it lol so like I said before, I try and get as many people I can on Allo. If all else fails, there's always FB Messenger.
LaVerite124 What are you talking about? Samsung flagships are updated every month (security patches) for 2 to 3 years. When it comes to major OS releases, then yup Samsung flagships use to get 2 updates. By that time the S8 will be roughly 2 years old. How much time an average consumer keeps their smartphones anyway? Additionally most Androids get performance enhancements with every OS update while the iPhones do the opposite (and won't integrate some features from the newest OS release).
Additionally some people get really sensitive about OS updates. Fact is Android App developers support their builds for much longer time, e.g lots of Android apps still support KitKat (from late 2013) while on iOS you just can't update most apps unless you sport iOS 9 or later. What if I don't want to update my older iPhone because my performance will be severely affected? I'm screwed
+ABCDE FGHIJK I think he expects everything to be flawless on release because he's used to the iPhone, which usually IS flawless on release. Not that it's Samsung's fault of course.
AbuBakr Akram the most he's complaining is about lack of some exclusive features of the iPhone. Imessage or facetime for example.obviously if you use a lot of the services iPhone offers you don't wanna lose them. I use WhatsApp or normal texts so having different needs doesn't make iPhone attractive in my eyes.but hey everyone has different needs
As an Android & iOS owner, ALL his points is TRUE... IF you don't believe, then you're just a blind fanboy and didn't watch the video. It just shows that iMessage & FaceTime is wayyyyyy better than ALLO & DUO... IF I'm GOOGLE, I will just make HANGOUTS the best it can be... Have a great day
I'm iPhone user since 2014 (6 Plus,6s) and iPad user since 2012. But I'll buy S8+ in June. Because It's just full of features and simply beautiful. I don't care about Apple services like iMessage/iCloud/FaceTime. I just don't use them(Never used Facetime for the entire time of owning Apple devices. And iCloud came in handy only once, when the ipad went to bootloop). So... (P.S. I'm from Russia and many iPhone features are simply not available here, which makes it easier for me.)
Ilya Chap why wait for June? to purchase a Samsung Galaxy s8+.... you get it now and be able to get all the promo needed for your new s8+ , like a case a 64GB card and 6 month of Netflix...and don't forget the Gear VR..That's a deal you cannot let pass away.... I just got my Midnight Black Samsung Galaxy s8 plus and it's a awesome phone.....#gottagiveittosamsung #SamsungGalaxys8plus @samsungmobileusa
MrTabu89 You know, I'm from Russia, which I wrote above, and I do not think we have such gifts, at least for now. Usually Samsung gives them for pre-order or some time after the start of sales in order to maintain the interest of buyers. So I decided to wait until a good offer.
I'm about to get the S8. Super excited about it!! All of the things you have problems with, I don't even use, so I'm not sweating it. Glad you're liking it. I've always been an Android person, never had an iPhone. Don't think I ever will
I've switched between Android and iOS several times over the last 3-4 years. I love the customisation of Android, and often, in my opinion, the Galaxy line of phones are the better phone (apart from the Galaxy S5. That was poor). However, I always come back to iOS because of FaceTime, iMessage and Find Friends. Yes, similar apps are available on Android, but Apple just makes them easier to use - especially for the older people in my family who I regularly keep in contact with. At the end of the day, it's whatever works best for you. Both great phones, with great software.
Josh Bentley What's so overly complicated about using Whatsapp? or even KiK or freaking facebook messenger? Those apps are free, global and work anywhere regardless of your phone. All these apps are just Apple's tools to make you stuck with iPhones, knowing this and accepting it sounds pretty sad to me. Apple keeps its customers in cage while Android gives the user complete freedom (even customizationwise). Like c'mon this is 2017, nobody uses SMS anymore and everyone should be able to personalize their very own phones. Hope you stick with Android next time.
I switched to apple myself. iPhone 7 is awesome I think Samsung is nice but overarated. Used to have an LG G3. Great phone but switched! Google security is bad! They also easier to hack into as well. Apple is a good device and I will stick with it.
I went from iPhone 7+ to Samsung S8 after being in the Apple ecosystem for over 7 years. After the shock of customization and working out the bugs of my iPad and MacBook Pro, I'm loving the S8, photos are so impressive which is very important to me. Great video
Actually i borrowed my dad's galaxy s8 for 2days and loved every bit of using it..so i decided to go for the note 8 which will be an improvement over the s8..
like 70% of the world is below that iphone every 2 years line in developing countries and such. Seems narrow minded to think that i have to be a meth addict drop out to want an android. (I'm graduating medical school next month- not exactly a drop out) Not to mention my android phone cost more then my iphone 5 or 6 did. They're different and directed towards different types of people android users are tinkerers and people who want control of there phone. Apple users are for people who just want everything to work and don't care to trouble shoot or download an app to solve a problem or improve their phone using experience.
İOS is a app based platform. For things you can do as standard on the Android operating system, you need to install apps on the iOS operating system. And most things you can not even do with programs.
Hey man! I actually ran into this same problem a few months ago. Long story short, I have always been a Samsung guy since the S3, switched to iPhone hated it. Then I went back to IPhone ultimately because I ended up missing iMessage and FaceTime so much that I had to go back! It was a decision that ended up costing me a lot of money but I am definitely sticking with the iPhone 8+ for awhile. Until Samsung gets something like iMessage, I may reconsider but iMessage is something that I just absolutely love and I remember always downloading those third party apps on my Samsung devices like Chomp, Textra, and Verizon messages to try and make it better because I just don’t like the regular messaging on the phone.. I finally got over it and try to roll with the stock messaging app because I don’t like downloading third party apps and all the ads.. iMessage just takes all the thinking out of it for me. I use to love customizing my phone but now since I’m older (27) I don’t wanna waste time doing all of that anymore and it’s way easier to just get an iPhone. My humble opinion. If anyone is reading this please let me know if you have a similar experience and tell me about it! Thanks! 📱
@@nikolamladenoff3516 If you've ever really used iMessage and other Apple ecosystem features, you'll understand. It's just SOO much more convenient. That's the reason why I always carry 2 phones (one iPhone, one Android of my choice), even though it's annoying and expensive to do so.
If you use the edge like you're supposed to, it is actually really good! If you quickly want to call one of your most frequently used contacts all you do is swipe from the screen and you are good to go! Same with notes!
I know how to fix group messages go to messages on the s8 and on the top right there is 3 dots click on that and then click settings then click more settings and then click multimedia messages and turn group conversation on. or put ur sim card back to ur iPhone and go to settings and then go to imessage and switch it to off then put the sim card back to the s8 then it should be fine. the 1st should work. I've tried it I also switched from iPhone to Samsung. good luck
Matthew hayimov I think he knew that that's why he didn't show the whole screen lol it's right there where the send button is a check box for group text
I just made the change, from Iphone 7 plus to Samsung note 8. And I don't regret it. I'm actually relieved I've got some flexibility back in return. Always been a android user and tried this iphone for 7 months but too many things that irritated me. And I personally never used Facetime, iMessage, or iCloud. And iOS 11 being so full of bugs did the last push for me to switch back.
I just switched too from iPhone 7 plus to the S8 Plus! and man I love this phone I feel like u got a lot of things u can do ... like u said missed imessage but it's not a big deal just created a new group chat..
David J. Ridgway yeah when people get dug into apple and use to the easyness of the phone they usually have a hard time learning something new. So they rather just stick with apple and iOS.
Ive been using apple forever since the beggining and i just swapped to a galaxy s8 and absolutley love it i was amazed as to how much better everything seems to run and how easy it is to get certain things and the custom things you can do to make the phone exactly how you want
Shadrack how is it he'll and ugly? In the past I jailbreak it for customization but now I don't need that. All I care is tweaks. Bioprotect, virtual home, barrel etc
Shadrack nope, jail breaking can be look way better than android customization because the tweaks work way better when there built for one specific phone
Honestly Telegram blows iMessage out of the water and that's coming from someone who has an iPhone. If I made the switch I don't think I would miss iMessage that much anymore.
Battery is about 3/4 to 1/2 as long as the s8 and the g6 has a terrible selfie camera for vlogging, two very important features for tech tubers on the go.
Samay Patel i am using iPhone 7 and all my whatsapp chat is backed up on iCloud but now that i want to switch to samsung s8 I'm unable to transfer my whatsapp chat to s8 coz iPhone uses iCloud for backup and android uses google drive. I don't want to lose my whatsapp chat. Is there any trick how i can transfer my whatsapp chat from iPhone to samsung s8 for free??
i used to own the s2 and s3. After my s3 was two years old i got the iPhone 6. At first I didn't like the iPhone because of how simple it was. I grew to like the simplicity and I don't care what anyone says, the iPhone to this day is more smooth than any android I've used. I recently got the google pixel as an upgrade to the iPhone 6 and it has been three months and I bought the iPhone 7 plus. Sorry, as good as the pixel is, i just prefer my apple. I also have a rmbp and apple tv so it all works together and to me I liked the continuity between them. To each their own. My brother got the s8 as a replacement for his iPhone 6 and he loves it. However, from my time with the pixel I enjoyed how the cloud works. It in my opinion is better than iCloud; it is less complicated and very straight forward. When google dominates apple, and they will in a couple years, then I will transition over fully.
arjunsecondary i use both device. For me, iphone simple to use like a dumb phone. While android have more customization and custom ROM. For used phone or second hand price, iphone retain their price better
i agree, though dumb would not be the word I would use. I used to do all the custom ROM shit back with my s3. That was a phase that has passed me now. Now i want a phone that is simple yet fast, and offers great battery life and customer support. For me apple provides that.
Poor you missing out on the Galaxy s5 which took android phones to another level. You never experienced this so you're still incarcerated by ios. The Samsung s8 phone offers so much more than your Iphone 7plus. In fact I would even say the S7 offers more.
a BMW offers more niceties than a lexus. I am still going to buy the Lexus. Many friends of mine had the S5, S6, S7 and S8. S8 is still rather new, but all were prone to the same samsung galaxy problems as they typically are. I also agree that they offer more. I used to flash ROMS and fuck around but now I like the stability iOS offers and I never use that extra shit you're talking about.
Kind of contradictory saying you'd buy a Lexus over a BMW but you would buy a more expensive and less customisable phone in Apple. How does that work? I think you're confused. Yes your friends may have owned the Samsungs you never had, but have you? NO!
Hey guys! Thanks for watching. I ultimately chose the S8 as my daily driver but ran into some issues along the way which I shared in this video.
Response to frequent comments:
- Definitely not here to "fanboy" over Apple nor am I paid by apple lol... that REALLY wouldn't make much sense since I ultimately ended of choosing the S8 as my daily driver.
-Group chat was tough because the people around me all use imessage and do not want to use third party apps (ex. in group chat with family and parents that are 60+ and don't want anything to do with third party apps like whatsapp, duo,etc..)
- There's a sim card in there lol. I have two, one for my daily driver and whatever phone I'm testing. I wouldn't lie to you guys.
So relax, put your pitchforks away my android ppl and watch until the end of the video!
UrAvgConsumer first
second😷
Fourth
UrAvgConsumer why don't you just use Google photos for the Instagram thing?
Why don't you complain about, Apple not making iMessage crossplatform? If Samsung would have done it, you guys would try to nuke their headquaters
Apple is really trying to confine you within its own world. Once you have everything branded with Apple, it's kinda hard to go back out there and experience a much wider world you can get with android devices.
Yeah, that's pretty much the point. I don't knock them for it as a business strategy. It's been working hasn't it?
Yordan Montero I have experienced the occasional crash here and there on IOS 10.3.3 but not often, very rare. They do happen.
absolutely they do happen but are very rare while on android is common, the last time i used a samsung device was the galaxy s5 and i experienced a lot of crashes and took 7 months to receive the new android update, and after that update it never received any other android update, now iphones receive security updates all the time and every new ios updates for years(still using my iphone 6 plus from 3 years ago and just updated it to ios 11 and working like a champ),that's not possible with android phones but is true that apple lock you in and i'm kinda tired of the lack of customization,my roommate has a samsung galaxy s7 edge and is able to download music for free, customize the phone however he wants and the google play store is as good as the app store,so yeah i'm gonna switch but i know i will miss the stability and constant updates that iphones offers, now i keep seeing on you tube and reviews that android is now as good as ios in that regard hope is true.
Once you sell your soul to Apple's system, they make sure it's difficult to get out of it.
Redicebergz this needs more likes Lol
Redicebergz not for me
Redicebergz not at all, I use g suite exclusively for work and use all those apps on my iPhone. I just don't go back to android because the updates end after a year (if lucky)
Nope
Mike 360 that will not be true for me with my att note 5 because I just got April security patch the other day and I get an update about every month
iOS to Android: Where are iMessage and Facetime?
Android to iOS: Where is everything?
Simon bruh this comment juz made my whole week!!! props... :-P
Simon 😂😂😂😂🤣lol👌👌
I'm dead because it's true😂😂😂
HAHAHAHA
Simon u my friend are hilarious, Samsung should make your comment a commercial
I never get why people have difficulties when changing brands. I have tried many brands and I never have had any difficulties. They are just phones; we control them, and it isnt the other way around.
Suprapto Utomo so true my man
I had every iPhone since 2007, then i switched from iPhone 7 to S8. damn i love this phone.
Cyb3rjack few months and it'll start lagging, then you'll be dying to go back to iPhone
gg ez never
Well it's been a few months. How's it work for ya?
its been great. hasn't slowed down and was able to sell and let go off the iPhone.
Cyb3rjack Hmm. Seems like another good point to buy the s8.
Don't get why android people are complaining, for someone who heavily uses ios and switches to andriod, this is probably one of the realist videos
OfficiallyTwon
Its not petty.
YOU HAVE TO DEREGISTER IMESSAGE FROM YOUR NUMBER the amount of times i had to tell that to customers
shadow50zombie bump!
shadow50zombie Poor u haha
shadow50zombie unregister.
no you don't lol
shadow50zombie does anyone know the wallpaper for the s8 he's using in the thumbnail. Is it an app?
You can just use WhatsApp, it's like FaceTime and iMessage combined^^ and for Android and iOS
problem is, whatsapp UI doesnt satisfy most of us iOS users.
@@DreiGuapo Whatsapp is basically the standard in my country - even for iOS users.
@@dunkelkatze420 What country is this?
@@Th33Vultur3 Germany
@@dunkelkatze420 ehrenmann
pretty much all the complaints are apples fault for making their phones too excluded from the rest of the phone market
J Travel Club yeah they did it on purpose for marketing. If you make it hard to switch they probably won't switch
In my country, EVERYONE uses whatsapp lol
nobody uses iMessage
Vaibhav Harit im from lebanon everybody use the both and i use imessage alot
Vaibhav Harit i am from chandigarh and i use imessage
Advit Sharma then u use it alone 😂😂
Vaibhav Harit in my country its viber
for god my country uses Facebook
Apple puts people in an ios jail
Wessel van Dijke It's more like a tangled web instead of a jail at least that's how I see it.
Pepper lmao
je hebt gelijk
@Wessel van Dijke
So true, that's why they have to "jailbreak" their devices to get any useful functionality out them.
Android is fully open and offers freedom and choice out of the box!
Wessel van Dijke and it’s getting way harder to jailbreak
I own both devices! The Samsung S8+ has a much better display (2k resolution screen), 2x brighter display, charges 90 mins faster, last 3-4 hours longer, and takes better photos & video, feels much smaller in hand despite having a bigger screen, and is just plain sexier overall.
With the iphone 7+ when you take a picture, you can zoom in but it is not as far as the galaxy S8+
It's more of a double tap and done whereas with the S8+ it is a double tap and more
Nate Sunnaa I wouldn't say something but u are completely dumb just go to the settings and open the 4K so u can use it
Nate Sunnaa BOY, the screen isn't 4k, it's 1440p
Siggy Is Back 4k is 1440p 🌚
The Gaming Prodigy8 pal, 4k is 2160p
Android equivalent of Facetime would be Google Duo, really don't see any problems with it as long as you're in the Google ecosystem.
Pierre LF I usually use Google Hangouts
Pierre LF yeah I agree but google duo needs be standard on all androids for video calling to compete with facetime. I use Whatsapp
Pierre LF yeah but are you really gonna make your friends on ios get another app to video chat
Henry N. iMessage is still better that's why people like iOS
Try Google Duo as a FaceTime replacement. Works across iOS and Android. Very simple to use.
no what henry said is correct, allo and duo are great but, unlike iMessage and Facetime they're not already the main apps for messaging and video calls.
Zak Tech Reviews its creppy
Dumbest thing apple users do when they get android phone... they try to make android phone work like iPhone and then blame android 🤦🏻♂️. Android has its own ways of doing things, learn it and use it the way it’s designed to be used. For video calls, use Duo, for chats use whatsapp, for laptop -mobile transfer use share it app and so on
Himanshu Jagtap when majority of people have iPhones, who message, video chat right out of the box without downloading anything, that’s the beauty of it
With those other apps, you have to get other people to download them,
iMessage is just hands down better than any 3rd party chat app
1:00 There's no SIM in the phone. Still on the sofa. Boom it's not! 😂
+Saalik Atomos except it is. I have two sims for my two phones. One for my daily driver and one for whatever phone I'm testing at the moment.
UrAvgConsumer ah damn the SIM is the same colour as the sofa then! I thought you did it because it was easier to shoot this way and not having the SIM jump out. Fair enough!
Edit: Was not expecting any answer tbh
UrAvgConsumer for the love of God just tell me where you got that wallpaper from and what are all the color values
There is absolutely no way that he has put in the SIM card from the iPhone into the S8 except if it is a dual sim phone. And I really doubt there is a sim in the tray slot we can see him slide into the phone that perfectly matches the color of the sofa.
allride I figured it out the effect is due to fact that the top slot of the SIM tray is for the microSD card so it's empty.
"Make the switch" *insert Nintendo Switch finger snapping sound here*
make the switch to geico
15 minutes can save you 15 percent or more on car insurance
if you deactivate your phone number from iMessage it will fix your group chat issue.
Not wanting to switch because of a messaging app is the stupidest thing ever
Chris Utley it is one app, one app, one app. How hard is it to substitute one app? Many apps does the samething.
Yeah sure. I'm going to listen to someone who can't replace one app
If you ever had a iPhone you would know, that’s why most people won’t switch
The hell, I can do all of that in my whatsapp. Try again
you forgot to mention the wireless charging and headphone jack
RK does Gaming he doesnt have the 7 its a 6.
Teo Chen Wei I almost hope people start telling me that it isn't going to work, and then it does. I just look at them like huh?
Brian Jones 😂😂😂 the satisfaction is amazing
Brian Jones me to bro (about the Bixby button)
Brian Jones rich, much? Doesn't that phone cost around $1000?
So everything is accessible to you whatever device you choose to use-whether you are on a desktop, laptop, phone, tablet, and any OS - Windows, Android, iOS.
stratATK Exactly. Apple makes it to where you don't want to switch as you will lose access to all your shit. That is why I drop them long ago.
+SourStrawberrys iOS makes it where you can't, you're literally "locked in" :-/.
Don't believe the hype !
iMessage isn't Android's fault. Use WhatsApp instead cause Apple knows if they make iMessage available for Android iPhones are done.
Dwayne Cubbins androids been trying to copy iMessage for years and kept turning out not good, so technically it is their fault.
AirDrop, FaceTime, compatibility with MacBook,
And Apple Watch; would still keep iPhone being sold more than any other phone
Try google duo instead of FaceTime. I think it is a pretty good substitute.
Abe S it's great!
Abe S Duo is only useful if the people you know are also using it. I have it installed, but everyone I know refuses to download another messaging app.
Good point, I didn't think of that.
Abe S or Whatsapp it has video calls
Should have been Intergrated with Android Messages app.
Agreed
does edge work only from home screen?
Vipin Mohan Nope. it works on RUclips and messenger, but when you've full screened the video, it disappears so you don't slide it by mistake
That's the keyword at the end. A win for "you". Me and others find it useless
hello your average consumer I'm your average viewer ✋
+chandrang makwana hey!
John Yoon well, I gotta said. Present Apple aren’t think different like before anymore..
Yea, I completely agree :(
anyone thinking can't he just get WhatsApp?
Marcus Leong or Viber Imo or tango etc
Oh some tacky ass messaging app? Hell no. Why buy a phone that's messaging software is so garbage you need a third party application? Fuck no. Peace out Samshit
Fear Plays Lmao.........
Fear Plays You have two apps that beat us out. Congratulations.
Aaron Rice oh. Not to mention a better camera? And batteries that don't explode? Hm.
I can't believe people in the US still use SMS and iMessage and stuff.. Just use Whatsapp.. Here in The Netherlands eveeeeryone uses whatsapp, ios or android.
Jay Williams we're not in the Netherlands so there's that
Jay Williams Same thing I was wondering, who the fuck uses sms nowdays?
Jay Williams everyone but the US uses WhatsApp. Mainly because us in the US had unlimited SMS for a long time so other apps didn't interest us. But as an American college student on exchange in Amsterdam...I love WhatsApp*. I wish America would adapt to it, but seeing as how stubborn Americans are....that'll never happen.
SMS ? lol people use whatsapp, Viber, Skype and etc. iMessage ? I dont understand Why ?? :D
Very true
I switched from an IPhone 6+ to a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and I realized how bad apple actually is lol, never going back.
Epik Dude Same...😃👌
Epik Dude I switched from iPhone to android and then switched straight back...android has its benefits but iPhone just works
Epik Dude same here, used android for 8 years. Switched to iPhone last month. Never going back.
I have tried to switch to android, replaced my iPhone 6 Plus with a note 5 , after 1 month I sold it and bought my iphone 7 plus, my guess is you will do too, when the next iPhone will arrived!!!
You should have gotten an s7 edge instead.......fantastic phone with a phenomenal battery
I've never used an android for 6 years and when I switched to s8 it's literally the exact same thing you just have to adapt to using Google and finding ways to your objective
Mysterious One still, no iMessage, air drop, FaceTime
Don’t tell me “go download this and that”
Cuz it doesn’t matter what I download, if other people don’t have it
use google drive, duo, line, whatsapp
aris espiritu but then he has to convince all of his friends to use those services
V35FURY350GT everybody uses WhatsApp tho so it's going to be hard to get people to change
aris espiritu Skype bro
+Jermain Rowe so iPhone doesn't have WhatsApp? I need to know lol
Denise D iPhone does have what's app
Today I just change from iPhone 6s to Samsung s7 edge :)
Alexander ʕ⁎̯͡⁎ʔ༄ Yea I have the 6s to. I'm going to wait for the 8 because I know there has to be a huge upgrade. I have not switched to Samsung because iPhone has better features like iMessage,FaceTime, and etc
It's David wasn't the 7 supposed to be a HUGE upgrade? it is an number after all, not an "s". If anything, it's an iphone 6ss.
Fried Chicken From the iPhone 6s no the 7 is not a huge upgrade (I've tried both of them). There almost the exact same thing
Gareth Ferguson i
Android is so much better
Gareth Ferguson
Google DUO is better for video calls I understood.
Apple charge so much more than android phones for this "simplicity". Android has so much more to offer, most of the time for cheaper. The iPhone 7 has a 720p (3 year old display), Samsung has a Quad HD 2017 display. If Apple charged way less for the iPhone then the arguments in favour of Apple would be justified.
one word : benchmark. maybe in about 3 years android will catch up. until then I'll stick with the best performance
The reason they charge so much is because they have to make the money back from when they bought the parts to build their phones fron Samsung.
@Haydan
No, the reason they charge so much is because they're GREEDY!
Apple didn't become wealthier than the US treasury by offering value for money!
Apple has 200 Billion dollars to spend for the iPhone. That’s kinda disappointing that they are not really using it.
you didnt disable Imessage thats prob why your group chats aren't coming through and you did use smart switch the transfer all of your stuff from the iPhone to the s8
Greg Scott I can't believe he didn't find that out. it was so simple using the transfer adapter and turning off iMessage on his iPhone.
brant mann turning off iMessage is annoying. Pictures take longer to send and download, can't send videos, and it's just sloppy
Greg Scott I haven't ran into any problems and it retained all of the group messages I was in. problem solved
i will obviously go with samsung its better in so many ways. loved the video
if iPhone would make iMessage for both iPhone and Android ...everyone is gonna switch to android
EntireTV Because hardware. That's why
sheyi tech not gonna happen
Steven Warren look up piemessage, its an imessage mod that allows android to run it
I never knew what iMessage is. Whtsapp is my life
Will H hardware? U know high specs these means is not better
Did you watch the whole video? He stated that at the end.
he's paid off to say these things.
You shouldn't have to download third party apps to message properly. That's the issue.
Dr Mundo If he was, he would have disclosed that.
Apple's really hooked people on iMessage.
Goober and Buddy I like the games. I got an iPad and I use it for that and FaceTime even though I barely FaceTime.
only americans... in asia or Europe, whatsapp is the things
NECRÓFILO Bro In Romania its the same..Everyone uses whatsapp...Usa = Imesage and the rest of the world =whatsapp
would rather have an iPhone 5 than live without it. if Android users only knew how amazing it is......
appleipodtouch2g Dammit your name 😂 why apple fanboys all have to be de same? Bahahahaha And I agree...I would everytime switch my shitty phone with an iphone 5 ;-;
curable apple fanboy? oh shit, it's a new breed.
instead of using Dropbox. Use Google photos. It's free unlimited storage and you can access on any device.
The edge display is amazing this guy is just accustom to flat phones youll get use to it
If you're thinking about switching to s8, Then go for the +
JIMWEL I think the normal s8 is a much better deal since the finger print scanner is more reachable and smaller actually looks good and fits with the s8 and its cheaper and has all the same features and hardware as the s8+
Hector the s8+ is definitely the way to go. The battery is better than the s8 and note 8. Same display and specs and cheaper than the Note 8
Stubbo 242 Your right but I'm not really a heavy user all I do is light gaming social media and watch some RUclips videos.(I own a normal s8 my self and I get 43% at the end of the day and if you were wondering what specific time it would be like at "8:30")
Im broke
fingerprint scanner is more reachable in s8 but s8+ has way better battery life 5 to 6hrs of SOT on S8+ as compared to 3 to 4hrs on S8 on 1080p res if you switch to 2K/1440p on S8 then also you will get 4 to 4.5 hrs of S8+ compared to 2 to 2.5 hrs on S8.
Nice video, crisp and very detailed explanations as always. I always look forward to your new videos

This is the first UrAvgConsumer video that I've disagreed with most of the points/examples he gives lol
Meatball i know right? he said s8+ is big?? dude he is using an iPhone 7 pluss 😂😂😂 bigger th the s8+ all the points he gave 😂😂 made laugh
Luis Ceballos the points he made just didn't make sense to me lol everything he complained about has or is worse on the iPhone 🤔😁

Your cons are looking like ios to Android
But not iPhone to S8
true but they both have different ecosystem

Which is completely fucking fair... the OS the biggest thing you trade

I switch from iPhone to Samsung galaxy. It's the best choice I've done even tho still trying to get use too lol.
Imhim247 S8?
TechFest i am happy after my switch moved from 6s to s8+ still trying to get use it.
Avi Makkar Cool bro. Hope you enjoy it
It's S7. I love it!
Imhim247 Ah man, could have been an S7 Edge. But still S7 rocks and it's super fast since Nougat came out for it
Group chats are the reason I'm trying to convince people to use Allo.
If all else fails, there's always FB Messenger.
ur the MVP////////Allo is 1000000 times better than i messages
BIGG BOSS GAMING allo is great
BIGG BOSS GAMING Same. Allo is the best messenger out there 😄
I switched to the S8+ from an iPhone 6S Plus and I do not regret it. The closed box that is IOS makes the iPhone feel out dated.
Charles Olmstead yeah but S8 will probably get two updates and then the software will be outdated. Just saying.
LaVerite124
What are you talking about?
I'm screwed
Yea hope the iPhone 8 is good tho
I love how you mentioned iMessage and FaceTime. Literally no other youtuber mentions it
I don't know anyone, that uses iMessage. (Germany)
hahaahaha actually its the first time i heard about "iMessage"
Meloncraft Same for me (Sweden). Kik or Whatsapp (even Snapchat messages) are way more common.
Meloncraft Same in Chile!
lol they blocked imessage here in uae, even sometimes apps like skype and discord get blocked
wtf is iMessage?
your complaints are really tacky
Jesus Fierro This phone had been out for less than a month. I hate how people expect everything to be absolutely flawless.
How?
+ABCDE FGHIJK I think he expects everything to be flawless on release because he's used to the iPhone, which usually IS flawless on release. Not that it's Samsung's fault of course.
AbuBakr Akram the most he's complaining is about lack of some exclusive features of the iPhone. Imessage or facetime for example.obviously if you use a lot of the services iPhone offers you don't wanna lose them. I use WhatsApp or normal texts so having different needs doesn't make iPhone attractive in my eyes.but hey everyone has different needs
As an Android & iOS owner,
ALL his points is TRUE...
You're wise
MrTabu89 You know, I'm from Russia, which I wrote above, and I do not think we have such gifts, at least for now. Usually Samsung gives them for pre-order or some time after the start of sales in order to maintain the interest of buyers. So I decided to wait until a good offer.
Ilya Chap wait you are from russia ok that explains why you hate apple
Martin Vangelov lol you are pretty stupid because iPhone is one of the most popular phones in Russia you dumbass
So this guy is complaining about an andriod not being able to do what an ios can do? I don't think he knows how OS works
Ashibur Rahman
No. He’s explaining the situations he ran into during his transition from iOS to android. This was a very good video.
Y’all are stupid. There are very real issues switching between iOS to android, I’m so glad he made this video.
Yes Seems to be an Educated Illiterate
I actually like watching subbed anime on the s8+
I haven't gotten around to watching Anime yet but any other videos with captions are fine to me.
I'm confused...
Did I see the SIM card on the couch after he said it was in there? 😐
I would stay with s8
I'm about to get the S8. Super excited about it!! All of the things you have problems with, I don't even use, so I'm not sweating it. Glad you're liking it. I've always been an Android person, never had an iPhone. Don't think I ever will
I feel like most of your complaints about the s8 are that it isn't an iPhone.
Agreed!
Jere Kreivilä , Everybody uses SMS. If you aren't using some form of internet messaging or iMessage, you're using SMS.
Jere Kreivilä u mean stick instead of stuck right?
I switched to apple myself. iPhone 7 is awesome I think Samsung is nice but overarated. Used to have an LG G3. Great phone but switched! Google security is bad! They also easier to hack into as well. Apple is a good device and I will stick with it.
it's called watsapp
I went from iPhone 7+ to Samsung S8 after being in the Apple ecosystem for over 7 years. After the shock of customization and working out the bugs of my iPad and MacBook Pro, I'm loving the S8, photos are so impressive which is very important to me. Great video
got bored using my i phone 7plus..will be switching to android via the galaxy note 8..
Ritwick Dey I am an Android user but why would you switch if you just bought a phone in October 2016
Actually i borrowed my dad's galaxy s8 for 2days and loved every bit of using it..so i decided to go for the note 8 which will be an improvement over the s8..
What will you so to your iPhone?
Ehhh!!..probably not use it as my daily driver bt use it for minor tasks such as playing games using face time etc..
im gonna move up from a S7 edge to a s8+ and then in a couple months get the note
I SUB! BECAUSE YOU BECAME A ANDROID USER!!
lol me too
Th3Rav3n 72 shut it ishit...sorry i meant iPhone
now thats what i call a replyy :)
like 70% of the world is below that iphone every 2 years line in developing countries and such.
Thanks! 📱
Haven't you heard of WhatsApp and Viber ? Literally everyone is using it. Also, Facebook's Messenger is everything you'd need.
I've tried it I also switched from iPhone to Samsung. good luck
Matthew hayimov I think he knew that that's why he didn't show the whole screen lol it's right there where the send button is a check box for group text
he just wanted to complain
yea I think so too
s8 is obviously better
younes Reus sure you can see that in the facetime comparison xD
@@michalroziel7056 he used a app nobody actually uses duo is better quality than facetime
younes Reus no I prefer the iPhone but it’s ur opinion
there's absolutely no doubt the Galaxy is better. man, iPhone 7 compared to Galaxy S8 looks like a happy meal toy.
WhatsApp is pretty good for group chats
Not even a minute into watching your videos I found myself hittin that subscribe button. Love the video man. Boutta watch more.
most of his "problems" are actually with the software and not the phone i.e:imessage facetime icloud
Not Android software its iOS software that is so damn locked down and they make it very hard to use on other devices.
Stop hating on samsung
Its probably because bad wifi :P
Then stop hating on Apple
RudolphOoO no because apple started it so no were having revenge even that i have a LG K20 PLUS
RudolphOoO Apple deserves it they scam the buyers basically
Then why do they use iPhones as as they're main daily driver? ANSWER : It's because they don't slow down like Android phones
second...samsung all the way. Although the lack of camera and battery upgrades was pretty disappointing😭
Hasib Ahmad there's a significant difference in color reproduction between the s7 and 8 at least I think you should look at camera comparisons
if u watch mkbhd's camera test you'll see that other smartphones took better pictures. Obviously it's a matter of opinion...but still
I just made the change, from Iphone 7 plus to Samsung note 8.
There's a solution to group messages. It's called WhatsApp. Or Threema, if one is more into security xD
Yep and it also is possible to use the locked down iMessage on Android if u unlink the other phone, yep Apple software choices..
I just switched too from iPhone 7 plus to the S8 Plus! and man I love this phone I feel like u got a lot of things u can do ... like u said missed imessage but it's not a big deal just created a new group chat..
this guy is a hardcore apple fan... there is no question samsung is so much better, ios is a joke to android!
David J. Ridgway yeah when people get dug into apple and use to the easyness of the phone they usually have a hard time learning something new. So they rather just stick with apple and iOS.
no I just want something that works. never came back to android after the camera of my flagship sony broke, despite never having dropped the phone
David J. Ridgway android sucks ass
And your a joke to the human race
Patrick Elions It's a Sony phone; Android is a software. Two different things
Ive been using apple forever since the beggining and i just swapped to a galaxy s8 and absolutley love it i was amazed as to how much better everything seems to run and how easy it is to get certain things and the custom things you can do to make the phone exactly how you want
I love my iPhone but I also love the customisation of android so I jailbreak my iPhone, found out a way 🤘🏻
Ritesh Gatpalli smart!
Ritesh Gatpalli jailbreak isn't a solution it's hell and ugly ASF
Shadrack how is it he'll and ugly?
In the past I jailbreak it for customization but now I don't need that. All I care is tweaks. Bioprotect, virtual home, barrel etc
Shadrack u ugly bitch
Shadrack nope, jail breaking can be look way better than android customization because the tweaks work way better when there built for one specific phone
Honestly Telegram blows iMessage out of the water and that's coming from someone who has an iPhone. If I made the switch I don't think I would miss iMessage that much anymore.
I message is the only thing apple has better.
Why do you not use a G6 if you don't like the edges?!
Battery is about 3/4 to 1/2 as long as the s8 and the g6 has a terrible selfie camera for vlogging, two very important features for tech tubers on the go.
Useless Trueeee
Because mainstream.
because it's not edges of s8 but the actual problem is ios to Android
what an intelligent, concise video. I happen to be a new s8 user, but even if I wasn't; the video was top shelf. You've got talent brother.
use only the s8 and dont always go near to your iphone
Whatsapp is the way to go! You'll leave imessage forever ! Best Texting app ever !
Samay Patel what are you talking about, i've had imessage and whatsapp since 2k12😂
Why tf do people use iMessage what's app is the best..
Yesssssssss
Samay Patel i am using iPhone 7 and all my whatsapp chat is backed up on iCloud but now that i want to switch to samsung s8 I'm unable to transfer my whatsapp chat to s8 coz iPhone uses iCloud for backup and android uses google drive. I don't want to lose my whatsapp chat. Is there any trick how i can transfer my whatsapp chat from iPhone to samsung s8 for free??
+Dhwani Mehta yes,there is
I'll take tha s8
I love your videos. I just got the S8+ and I don't understand why you where having such a hard time group chatting because it works fine for me.
Your wallpapers are so good
It's not the phone,It depends on the service u are with
i used to own the s2 and s3.
NO!
08:28 I see that shelf. The S8 can work with emulators so you can still play those nostalgic Pokemon games
What's face time ?
Lol
Apple's video chat like Skype
Tony Droid fruit
What wallper were u using with the S8, can u send a link pls?
EverythingTechPro It's in the Samsung theme store. You could probably get a similar one on "Zedge" via the play store.
The messaging problem is Apple's fault. Pin Apple for this.
Best switch video you actually updated us in the same video!
Waaaaaay too biased. Take time to get used to the Android ecosystem.
yes
you just have to be somewhat intelligent to figure it out
King Chambers what is it then 🤔
oh because its hard to use it is better? get the fuck outta here Android is fucking terrible.
the guy who doesn't know how to use contractions calls me retarded? LOL
