Great video and insight into Hiroi. There was an ugly Hiroi Doitsu Showa with no Sumi at a dealer, he was stuck with it for over a year, he took new photos to show development the 2nd year and wow, what a transformation, lots of perfectly placed ink like Sumi, it was stunning, tried to buy it immediately but was beaten to it. Totally changed the way I look at under developed Hiroi Doitsu Showa!

Tim how come you dont keep koi, lets face it if you kept koi youd have possibly the best collection in whole uk , iv spent last 3 weeks evenings trying to work out japanease filters , intresting i have to say , but nexus 1m high .. japanease filters 8 foot high , oyster shell japp matting , sharp stones , foam blocks , plastic tubs all seems to be used , confusing ...yes , suprised not at all 😅
I’ve only done the Koi professionally really. Most dealers are hobbyists turned dealers, it’s been my job since I was at school. Maybe one day I’ll have a pond.

He has had some clarity issues but hopefully that’s sorted now
