It was all for her, but he said it was because the Dragon Prince wanted to murder him. She broke his heart too. Devastating that she erased the lotus mark on both their wrists. Wish Yumo would have fallen for the Princess of the 4 Seas. He is a kind and good man who deserves to be loved instead of enduring the bitterness of unrequited love.

I think all Yandan wants is for Yingyuan to admit that he loves her. She doesn't want him to abandon the welfare of the realms, but just to acknowledge to the world that she is important enough to him, that what they share and their feelings for each other are real, beautiful, and nothing to be ashamed of. She sees these memories as more valuable than life itself. Yingyuan not only refused to give her that acknowledgment, but he erased her memories of their love. To her, that is as if he is saying their love is disposable, not important enough to cherish or to remember. However, to him, her life is more important than having her remember him. Oftentimes, it is easier for the amnesiac and harder for the one with memories intact but must live on knowing the person he loves no longer remembers him. It's a lose-lose situation.
Naw girl, he didn’t do her right as Yingyuan. Even in the mortal realm as a cultivator he acted like a brat with that bracelet and the bottle. She made the right choice. He can kick rocks. Yumo on the other hand has been her ride or die.

However, in all fairness to Yingyuan, what could he do but protect Yandan the only way he could back when they were in the heavenly realm? He had to deny any admission of love for her, or else she would have received further punishment. I miss Tangzhou more than I thought I would. He was fun to have around, always finding ways to act pitiful in front of Yandan to gain some sympathy points. Plus, he was the only one brave enough to declare to the world that he loved Yandan and that he was willing to leave behind everything to be with her. I understand how important the greater love for the world is, but in a relationship, is it too much for a woman to ask for her man to prioritize her over everything else? If he cannot put her first in his heart, then I am not sure if there is any security in such a relationship. Now that Tangzhou is gone, I wish Yandan would give Yumo a chance. Sometimes the most ideal life partner is the one who has stood by silently, supporting her through thick and thin. I don't deny that Yingyuan loves Yandan in his own limited way, but his love is too heavy, too burdensome. I initially supported Yingyuan, but as the drama progresses, I realize he will never prioritize her above the safety of the three realms, and Yandan frankly deserves better. With all his righteous talk, the new Yingyuan after his mortal trial is incredibly selfish. He knows he cannot let go of his responsibility to the realms, and yet, he is trying to hang onto Yandan, too. If he cannot love her freely and completely, why can't he just cut ties with her and let her move on? Instead, he keeps popping up in her life, disturbing her, even though she has told him she doesn't want to see him again.
