I love to read, so I can't wait to read your stories. Please do more videos because you are very likeable and funny. BTW, your backyard is gorgeous!

I'd like to do more videos and may in the future, but even though I retired 10 years ago I'm still working full time and my wife is also. In this economy it's necessary for the time being.
Very nice shack. Do like the slatted vents across the top allot. Subscribed and would like to see some action/entertaining around this shack. Your last video was a year ago, please do some more when you get the chance and greetings from across the pond :)
Many Thanks! I'll work on your request. We have SO much pollen this time of year, it leaves a layer of yellow looking dust on everything outside. but, as I had to do last year, I'll be out there cleaning everything up and I'll be happy to do a second video. Just last week I received a shipment of lumber for an arbor on the opposite side of the pavilion which will include adult and kids swing for the grandbabies. When finished in the coming weeks, we'll do another one. Right now I'm back working full-time, so I only have the weekends again. Thanks again and take care over there across the pond. Chris 🙂
That’s a fantastic build! Reminds me of the small dive bars on the gulf coast of florida. Relaxing, comfortable and a splash of personal style. Hope you have many years of enjoyment out there.
Thank you for the kind compliment. I didn't realize it at the time, but we love those little dive beach bars. I guess that was in the back of my mind as I worked on the project. Maybe that's why I just like hanging around out there so much. Even in this cold ass weather...I still grill it up. :-)
Hey Chris, thanks for taking the time to make this video. I'm in the midst of designing something similar so it's always nice to see what someone else came up with. Have fun and keep on grillin'
Thanks so much Steve. I got many of the ideas from others who were good enough to post theirs. The very best with your project. It'll soon be spring and I know you'll enjoy it 🙂
I suppose I could close it up, but haven't yet. It has held up very well the past two winters and, being in the south, I continue to use it several days a week year round. We have a pretty bad pollen season that leaves a yellow dusty covering over everything. I have to do a pretty deep clean once per spring, but it stays dry and easy to clean the remainder of the year. Thanks for watching 🙂
Bravo! How's the ventilation w/ the weber when cooking a full batch of chicken or something like that?? I dont' see any vents in the back or up top? i'm getting ready to start a project and this is giving me some great idea's. thank you!
Although the front and sides appear solid, those are 2x2 slats and ventilation has not been a problem. I wish you the very best with your build. They are absolutely worth the trouble :-)
