Ann, I love this card - very simple and effective, and the white 'stitching' finishes and lifts it completely. It's my grandson's 12th birthday today, I have oval dies, and if I get a wiggle on, I could have that made by the time I see him later today. I don't know why I haven't seen your site before, it just popped up one day recently, but I'm glad I have. Thank you.
Love all of them!! I have to do a card for my husband's birthday. I'm giving this a try.. LOVE THE STITCHING!! It really makes it. my idea is to glue it all on a non stick surface. Draw the rectangle that is size of base first, so know size to do it. Then glue it on to a base piece of cardstock.if I don't I'll probably end up doing it several times. Lol thanks for Sharing. The first card with circles, if add flowers or something, can be used for a female. Love them.can't wait to get started..
If you take a piece of Glad Press n Seal, if available in the UK, place it over your cut pieces like those ovals and inlays, it’s low tack and press it over the top of the completed design, then add your adhesive, it will save time and frustration.
Hi Ann, Really loved your cards yes it is so so hard to do a Man card but u have most definitely helped to solve a lot of problems for me & I am sure for a lot of people to thanks Ann, for all your help 👍 Lin ❤️👍🐕🤗
Thanks Ann. Awesome ideas just using the nesting dies. Who would have thought.... 😄😄😄. Hope you are getting some much needed sleep and the noisy neighbour isn’t keeping you up and making too much noise for you. Terrible when you have to put up with that. I always look forward to your tutorials, and wonderful ideas. I also thought your live show was a bit. ❤️❤️❤️
Remember to use Press-and-Seal to save your design! Make the layout of shapes, press the plastic wrap down onto it, flip it all over, add glue, flip it back over , center it and press it down. I let the glue dry a bit before I remove the plastic wrap. I wouldn’t have thought to add back in the solid shapes. Great video! I will definitely try this….
The simple ideas are always the best. Most crafters have darker shades of cardstock, basic shapes and a decent white gel pen. The genius is in coming up with the concept. Many thanks Ann
Great idea for masculine cards. The hexagon was my favorite. It’s not a shape you see often in card making. And your nails look great! Really love that purple color.
Brilliant ideas! I always struggle to come up with something for a male card. You made it so quickly and it is so cool 😎 Thanks for another fun tutorial Ann. Have a great weekxx
Such a simple but effective technique be fab to use up scraps too have tonnes of scraps love it hun struggle to make male cards so this is fab idea xxx
Thanks for another fab vid Ann. Have more male relations than female so they rarely get a handmade card as difficult to be inspired. These are fab and easy to do. Hope things a bit quieter neighbour wise and good luck with the council. My son now has had police at his door early hours of the morning looking for the noisy druggie neighbours. He has had his flat for 7 years and lives in the West End BUT drugs everywhere now and council using repossessed properties as scatter flats for homeless druggies. He is working from home and sometimes has to apologise to clients about the background noise. It's not fair Ann. You and him have my deepest sympathies cause it's truly soul destroying. Lets face it excessive noise and sleep deprivation are forms of torture! Good luck xx
Just come in from gardening and spotted this....will watch in detail later as it looks great. Hope you have had some Vit D from a bit of time in the sunshine .....despite the neighbours!
What clever ideas you have!!! And, as always, you color schemes and attention to details really add something extra to the cards. Thanks for sharing with us! Janet 🥰👍💖
Love the cards great ideas but I think men often love gardening and flowers my dad grew sweetpeas and chrisanthamums and some times a card with flowers on is acceptable for a man .xxxxx
You probably already know this, but once you get your design ready on your card, you should take a picture of it with your phone, then you can refer to it later when it comes to the tutorial. I have seen other artists do the same. These are awesome cards, great for men.
❤ Love these ideas three years down the line..🎉
