A fifth season of "Stranger Things" is expected in 2024. Actor David Harbour told GQ that he expects filming to begin in 2023 for the fifth season of "Very Stranger Things," and that it will premiere in mid-2024.
This trailer is a concept-mashup that shows my idea of how Trailer for Stranger Things 5 might look like.

The trailer mashups are not only a user generated form of digital creativity but a way to create anticipation for future releases, working in tandem with current movie trailers. Movie trailers are designed to give minimal plot detail and to create hype and anticipation. Fan made trailer mashups allow the audience to perform their own cinematic spin on current movie footage. This allows the trailer to focus on a specific actor or portion of the film. It could even change the plot or genre of the film entirely.

Stranger Things 5, the fourth season of Stranger Things was officially announced on September 30, 2019. It is currently in production. A release date has yet to be officially revealed. The season will explore regions outside Hawkins, Indiana, as shown by the announcement trailer. Following the release of Season 3, the Duffer Brothers stated that if Stranger Things was renewed for the fourth season (renewal was confirmed two months later), the season would be very different and they would explore newer locations outside Hawkins in order to "open up plot-lines". They also confirmed that the season would address the mid-credits scene of the finale of the third season.
In early February 2020, it was reported that the season's length had been extended to nine episodes, to set up a fifth and final season. However, the report has yet to be officially confirmed. In mid-February, in addition to releasing a teaser trailer, the Duffers revealed the return of Jim Hopper who's now imprisoned in Kamchatka likely confirming that he is the American prisoner discussed in the end credit scene of season 3. They added that the season would be the "most frightening yet" with "a new horror" emerging that would connect everything.
In an appearance at Liverpool Comic Con, actor David Harbour teased that Hopper's backstory will be explored in the upcoming season. Actor Joe Keery stated that the fourth season would be "a lot scarier" than previous seasons. Actress Sadie Sink also mentioned that the teens will be entering high school this season. In mid-August, the Duffer brothers confirmed that all of the scripts have been completed and are now just being adjusted. Stranger Things 4 new trailer, Stranger Things 2020, Stranger Things 2021, Netflix Series, Stranger Things Netflix Series. Shooting took place in Vilnius, Lithuania and later moved back to Atlanta, before filming came to a halt due to epidemic outbreak. According to stunt co-ordinator Hiro Koda, two episodes of the season were filmed before production was halted. On October 1, 2020, it was officially confirmed that filming for the fourth season has resumed again.

I believe that Kali number 8 is definitely coming back. Otherwise why show her and Henry say to Eleven about one person getting away. But even Eleven still hasn’t reached her 100% . Imagine how she will be if she gets all her powers she really has. Then she was young, now she is older and surely stronger.

@@crunch5 very true. Maybe because no one saw the body at a hospital or something or the grave. Everyone loves Eddie. As a result people make different theories about him. I too would love to see Eddie come back as whatever they choose. A Vamp, a host of Vecna since he is wounded but alive, to work for Vecna since Eleven had the power to bring “back” Max so can he. Unless he (Vecna) becomes a host in Max’s body since she is in a coma. I believe they might go with the host scenario. Although I would love to see him working for Vecna. But they might want Max to be the one working for him as a spy . (?) Who knows. Theories will take place until the official trailer of ST5 Netflix. 2024 is a long time for fan made videos.

1. When erica rolled an eleven in eddies campaign, it wasn‘t enough to defeat vecna, she needed more.
2. The storyline in season 2 was too pointless. It didn‘t make sense to include it, but the duffers would never write a story that makes no sense/ isn‘t important. She has to come back.

I think so too. El is already really powerful, but after the end of S4, it's been made obvious that she can't defeat Vecna alone. She will definitely need Kali's help, her mom's, and if Will or Max end up getting powers because of their run-ins with Vecna, them as well.
Unfortunately I think Terry coming back is unlikely, as that would both 1. be tricky to pull off realistically as her brain is very much physically fried, and the narrative has shown no evidence that regeneration is a thing that the superpowered individuals have, and 2. be redundant if the Duffers are planning to (hopefully) awaken Max too.

So the Mushrooms might actually be a GREAT hint that we all missed. They might be a hint to Eleven's sister 008 returning in season 5 and helping Eleven take on Vecna.
As mentioned in the video these Mushrooms might be the hallucigenic types that cause ( hallucinations) which is exactly Eleven's sister superpowers. Vecna will become more powerful and dangerous with all these monsters that Nacy saw by his side, so Eleven will definitely need help defeating him, and I can't think of something better than Eight's power to confuse the bastard and make it easier for Eleven to take him down.

I think that the fungus is there so that eleven can take it and strengthen her powers to fight vecna. It’s mentioned in the show like the MKultra and the drugs they give her for NINA.
