Look, the regis and legendaries being back makes me think Regigigas and that means that with Galarian Wheezing we can finally have a Regigigas that isn't dogshit.
the amount of nerfs to intimidate slightly justify my not being worried when it comes to him coming back. oblivious, own tempo, inner focus, rattled...a lot of abilities now negate or benefit from intimidate opponents and there are other pokemon that can easily counter lando such as eiscue since pretty much all landos use only physical moves and eiscue can laugh at that for the first hit. also i highly doubt dragapult will get outsped by it even with choice scarf and clear body will help you. so i personally am okay with it being back because of all those reasons
I've been SO sick of third games for a long time now so to finally be able to just add new content to the base game as DLC is fantastic. I was NOT expecting so many new Pokemon too! I'm very happy! 🤗
I appreciate them adding the update to all players' games. I still remember how in ORAS I had to remove my megas from my team because everyone I played with locally just had XY, and they refused to patch the game to support the new megas
The Kubfu line is prob from a region based on China. Thats my guess, based on the martial arts aspect as well as the fact that the "shifu" in Urshifu is a Cantonese word used as a title for a skillfull person or master
I just look at that new G-Max form with that wicked looking kit and think, 'Teach me your ways!' I knew picking this as my starter was the right choice.
The bird trio are definitely not gigantamax forms. They present them as regular pokemon, and they also don’t have the red clouds around them in any of the pics. They’re Galarian forms, which is even more hype
João Miguel PokeDrive made a prediction that they'll all have the Dark type added. ...Which would then make them weak to Urshifu, Zacian, and Zamazenta, as they all have types that are super effective against Dark. That would seriously neuter them in competitive, especially with them already being super-weak legendaries.
I gotta predict that Urshifu’s ability Unseen Fists will make punching moves become priority moves like ice punch, drain punch etc. like the name says ‘’Unseen fists’’ so it may make sense that faster Pokémon will not see punching moves that coming like drain punch will suddenly go first but its just my guess.
Urshifu- Really easy play on, but subtle word usage. Can be taken as two masters due to two forms. Ur- Ursa (bear) Ur (sound) - Two in Chinese Shifu- Chinese for teacher/master
I actually like how they are giving us dlc, rather than making the dlc into a whole new game and charging $60 bucks again, and the dlc is $30 sign me up, awesome video by the way Shofu
Troll Hallswine it would be naive to think they are, seeing how they literally compare this expansion pass to that “third version” method in the Direct, which I assume you watched so you’d know this
"Choices made" for urshifu will be like tyroge evolving into the hitmons. Only this time, if the kubfoo has higher attack it will become single strike (fight dark) with 140 base attack and 120 base speed. Higher speed will evolve into rapid strike (fight water) with 120 base attack and 140 base speed.
Initially, I was disappointed with SS but max raids have been actually all right and with this new expansion having more pokemon and more max raids, its looking a lot more promising, but again need for it to come out first
I don't know why some people were surprised about certain pokemon getting added back into the game. I thought we already knew that Venusaur was getting an updated moveset with Weather Ball. How is Venusaur gonna get Weather Ball if it's not in the game? The number of Pokemon that they're adding is surprising though, and fuck Lando-T
The Male character in his exploration crown tundra outfit look like he really about to pull up on somebody who was lookin for a battle on the wrong block
In the games Sonia said that Zamazenta and Zacian BOTH originated "in a different land", in this info they're saying Kubfu went to far off lands. 110% getting 2nd dlc expansion sometime in the future, about all 3 origins😎👍!
What makes me really happy about those expansion passes is that, for the first time since Gen III, the first two games won't become obsolete, not even for those who don't purchase those passes.
I don’t think those were Gigantamax Zapdos, Moltress and Articuno. Most artwork of Gigantamax mons have 3 red clouds somewhere around their body. I think these might be Galarian legends
I just want to point out that Galarian Moltres looks like a discount Yveltal, Galarian Zapdos looks like an overgrown Spearow, and Articuno looks like he just got back from a Syfy convention... And their designs warm my heart ☺️
@End My Pain I know right? Part of hopes that they change they're typing a little, like: 1. Make Moltres fire/dark 2. Zapdos electric/fighting 3. Articuno Ice/steel
Con-Man I bet there’s even more Galarian forms too. I think there’s gonna be two lines of Galarian forms that are exclusive to Sword and the other/s to shield per DLC
The way they described the Rapid Strikes Urshifu's fighting style is basically Jeet Kune Do ("Way of The Intercepting Fist"), the style invented by Bruce Lee, so it's Water typing is most likely a reference to his famous "Be Like Water" philosophy.
Here will be some of my thoughts: -From what they've shown, The Isle of Armor and the Crown Tundra look like cool places to explore once we get the ability to do so. The scenery looks great. -What is that Pokemon on the logo/brand of the Crown Tundra exploration outfit? -The new outfits, hairstyles, and accessories for trainer customization look great. There's already fan art of Marnie & Morpeko surrounded by girls who dressed to look like her. The new characters look neat. -I'm highly curious about the lore of the new areas considering the two new Regis, the Galarian variants of the Kanto Bird Trio, and the fact that legendary Pokemon can be found in explorable Max Raid dens. -I'm guessing that the Electric-type Regi will be called Registorm, Regivolt, Regibolt, Regizap, Regilightning, Regithunder, or Regilectric. I'm guessing that the Dragon-type Regi will be called Regidrake or something else. -I'm predicting that the dragon Regi is the Dragon Pokemon depicted on buildings and statues in Galar. -The temple with the icy tree growing out of it reminds me of the Temple of Time(?) in the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. -I look forward to battling Klara the aspiring Poison-type Gym Leader and Avery the aspiring Psychic-type Gym Leader. -I'm guessing that Galarian Articuno might be Ice/Steel, Ice/Fairy, Ice/Psychic, Ice/Ghost, Ice/Dark, or some other typing. -I'm guessing that Galarian Zapdos might be Electric/Fighting, Electric/Dark, or some other typing. -I'm guessing that Galarian Moltres might be Fire/Dragon, Fire/Dark, Dark/Flying, Dragon/Flying, or some other typing. -I've learned that the Galarian Slowpoke that you catch with the update will know Acid and Confusion while being a pure Psychic type. I'm curious to learn why Galarian Slowpoke and probably its evolved forms are no longer Water-type Pokemon. That, and I think that Galarian Slowbro and Galarian Slowking will be Psychic/Poison types. If so, they will be weak to Ghost, Dark, and Ground-type attacks. -It would be nice if there were more Galarian forms besides the Kanto Bird Trio and the Slowpoke line. -Kubfu is fairly cute. While the Fighting/Dark-type, Single-Strike Style form of Urshifu looks cooler, I might like the Fighting/Water-type, Rapid-Strike Style form more. I'll have to wait and see if that will end up being the case. -I'm curious to learn about the new Psychic/Grass-type legendary Calyrex. -I love that there will be Move Tutors in the expansion passes. I'm eager to learn what they'll be. -I'm curious to learn what the move pools of the past Pokemon as well as the new Pokemon will be. -Max Raid Battles against Chansey and Blissey will require physically-offensive, Fighting-type Pokemon. -I really hope that Dedenne will finally learn Draining Kiss, Dazzling Gleam, and Moonblast. -I wonder what the meta will be like when all of the 200+ Pokemon(including legends from previous regions) are available. -Unless Hidden Power is one of the Move Tutor moves, Magnezone is gonna be missing that type coverage in its move pool. -I'm so damn happy that Rillaboom, Cinderace, Inteleon, Venusaur, and especially Blastoise have Gigantamax forms. Screw Charizard hogging all of the spotlight. I'm glad that Rillaboom's G-Max form comes with a drum set. Inteleon gets an incredibly long tail that it uses as a sniper tower in addition to a gun. Cinderace's ears grow longer while it stands on a giant, fiery soccer ball that it intends to kick at your face. Venusaur's flower gets large while making him look high. Blastoise is ready to take names. -Since Nidorino made the cut, I'm assuming Nidoqueen made it into the expansion pass. -Lives will be destroyed if Garchomp gains access to Dragon Dance and Close Combat. The same applies to Metagross if it gains access to Close Combat.
I'm glad we're getting dlc but the one thing that bugs me is some of this is shit we would normally get built in the game for free. After game content like the Battle Zone in DPPT, Kanto in gen 2, the battle frontier, access to additional legendary battles were ingame already.
By what we saw on the direct the small gameplay shown in the expansion looks better that the base game including the trees, I wonder if they would also update some graphical quality to the base game, sow that it won't feel off when going back and forward between galar to the expansion areas.
(Around 8:49) People Need to remember, even hinting at things like Future Projects or Additions to Games can get Anyone on the Team in *SERIOUS LEGAL TROUBLE* so 90% of the time they will just flat out lie and deny any questions asked because even replying with something like "Who Knows?" or " *Pause* No Comment." could be considered Divulging Information the higher ups want left hidden.
Cinderace gigantamax looks like laharl from disgaea. His ears is long and downward like the antenea hair style on laharl and he rides a meteor or in this case a giant soccer ball and his arms is folded like laharl. All we need is a evil laugh
Fun fact about Galarian Slowpoke: the one we get from this update is shiny-locked, but any you make from breeding it have no such restrictions and can be shiny.
They probably just needed more time to finish adding animations to the remaining pokemon so they just shipped with what they had and figured they would get the rest ready for switch releases during DLC.
really interested in that electric type regi. gen 8 has been lacking in good electric types imo n it'd be interesting if it's comparable to xurk/koko/zeraora. even moreso if it's speed stat is actually high; imagine a regi that's fast lol
I think people are griping the most about the DLC is that so much was lacking in Sword and Shield that the DLC should've been in the actual games to begin with.
The legendary birds don't look like Gigantimaxes, they look like Galarian forms.
Yeah, no clouds around their heads

By what we saw on the direct the small gameplay shown in the expansion looks better that the base game including the trees, I wonder if they would also update some graphical quality to the base game, sow that it won't feel off when going back and forward between galar to the expansion areas.
Rillaboom has the drumming ability of the entire Southern Band member over the last decade
The Urshifu forms are tied to the 2 pegota style towers you can see in the concept and the gameplay.
That new Grass legendary got them white thigh socks though *SLURP SLURP*
Chillaxorita but no thicc. How can you?
I think unseen fist would be like another guard attack that goes through protect but does full damage only once.
urshifu reminds me of ryu with his struggles with the dark hado
This here Kubfu/Urshifu are Ryu of Pokemon.
Lucario is already Goku
This new fighting legendary is coming to smash
Smash all the things all the ways smash smash smash
(Around 8:49) People Need to remember, even hinting at things like Future Projects or Additions to Games can get Anyone on the Team in *SERIOUS LEGAL TROUBLE* so 90% of the time they will just flat out lie and deny any questions asked because even replying with something like "Who Knows?" or " *Pause* No Comment." could be considered Divulging Information the higher ups want left hidden.
G-Max Rillaboom looking like some Super Saiyan 5 fan art
Cinderace gigantamax looks like laharl from disgaea. His ears is long and downward like the antenea hair style on laharl and he rides a meteor or in this case a giant soccer ball and his arms is folded like laharl. All we need is a evil laugh
Me: *sees Zorua
Me: *SCREAMS*
Fun fact about Galarian Slowpoke: the one we get from this update is shiny-locked, but any you make from breeding it have no such restrictions and can be shiny.
I’m breeding one in a moonball right now lol
Inteleon got the Southside Chicago Gigantamax form
💯💯⚰💀
LMFAOOOOO
They probably just needed more time to finish adding animations to the remaining pokemon so they just shipped with what they had and figured they would get the rest ready for switch releases during DLC.
I just hope gliscor is there
really interested in that electric type regi. gen 8 has been lacking in good electric types imo n it'd be interesting if it's comparable to xurk/koko/zeraora. even moreso if it's speed stat is actually high; imagine a regi that's fast lol
...Bruh, this is actually scary. If Regigigas gets in... Neutralizing Gas. Help us all.
@@TornaitSuperBird LOL that and slaking! it'll be beautiful..
I'm not surprised what they just pulled considering how hard they did insist on the cut of the dex was likely to build up pressure for this showing up
I think people are griping the most about the DLC is that so much was lacking in Sword and Shield that the DLC should've been in the actual games to begin with.
That is exactly it too. You paid 60 dollars for Sword and Shield but yet it felt like it had way less content.(not included Pokemon)
One thing I’ll say: these better be Monster Hunter Iceborne-level expansions and not Sims 4 Cats and Dogs-level expansions.
