It’s always a treat to see Sam hanging out with the rest of the crew. And it’s great to see Nate and James out testing again. I would rather watch these guys drag race than just about any other motor sport.

I want to see more about drag racing and all the cars in his fleet, I kinda stopped watching because of all the other stuff he’s doing. It’s gotten boring. Hopefully when leroys body is done and he gets eagle done it will be fresh racing content for months.

@@austincassell4741 I agree plus James and Nate are building their own cars. Nothing wrong with buying your engines pre built but I prefer to build them and blow them up myself. A lot of blowing up for the first few attempts but that's learning and drag racing. I'm old school. I started in the mid 80s with big block A body Chrysler and still going. Drugs would ha e been cheaper.

Has jack stand jimmy had the cylinder heads dry decked ie: water jacket ports welded up on the cylinder heads and is he running o-ring block with receiver grooves in the cylinder head. Because if he is and has the heads dry deck and runs a copper head gasket. He can run as much boost as the chassis and suspension setup can handle lol.

I’m just getting into drag racing because it’s so expensive😂, I’m doing something small compared to what y’all are doing. A 13:1 compression 383 sbc, just trying to win some n/a classes in my local area. I think I might just get my 88 dodge Dakota running as a street truck and stick to car audio as my hobby 😅

use to run regular gass before putting it up but that dident work so now I keep filters plugs and flush my tank

EGT's are a great tuning tool but let's be honest, all it's going to tell you with the data logger is when the hole blew up.
That big pile of methanol flame out of the exhaust tells me that one cylinder nearly hydro locked from a leaky injector. Most likley why it lifted a head. If a rod isn't bent it'll be a miracle. Anytime injectors set for that long they need to come out and be tested ,cleaned, or rebuilt. I'm betting the coils are fine. I'm not saying its impossible for it to have been a coil but that much cylinder pressure to lift a head at that low of boost screams injector dumping a poo pile of fuel in one cylinder.

In my inexperienced mind running a fast combo slow can keep a engine a unhappy heavily loaded area for a long time and can lift heads from cylinder pressure just because of the load and length of time loaded like that.
Jimmy is a great driver. I'm glad to see him in more than just fixing all Cleetus stuff. Even Cleetus knows he can out drive him. Not round track but drag racing 💯
