Thats like 100% how the original! So cool! I wish I could play like you! But I dont even have a guitar😂 But I want to start playing one day..Do you think the Epiphone SG Standard is a good beginner guitar and can you do a Thunderstruck cover please? Would be so cool!
Epiphone sg standard is great but if you can get epiphone sg g-400pro that would be perfect choose for you in my opinion best starter guitar amp that i will recomend is marshall mg15g or mg15gr thats what i recomend :) good luck with playing
Thanks a lot man! I think the Epiphone SGs are a good option. With practice you'll be even better than me, no doubt about it! :D I'm currently working on a Thunderstruck Cover, it's the live version from No Bull in Madrid though. Hoping to avoid getting another video blocked haha!
i have to ask...are the audible guitars only yours? or are you overlaying them? whatever the case, this riff by malcolm was really something special. i think hearing you play this so accurately really hammers home how amazing it was. just something different to this than any other ac/dc tune. when i think of my favorite ac/dc songs, this one doesn't even cross my mind, but i don't think i'll ever regard it the same.
Thank you! I play over the original track. If you listen closely, you can hear a difference in tone though, especially when listening on cell phone speakers. At least in my opinion haha. I'm currently working on new covers, where I was able to edit the original track a bit, so my playing stands out a bit more. However, I got closer to the original sound in the process, so it still sounds very much like the original record :D
@@TheLucasMurphy look forward to the new covers. i really liked this one, as it gave the track just a bit of a different flavor. for some reason, listening to it today straight out of my phone gave me the most noticeable difference in tone.
Thanks , I am fairly new at this , I have the same guitar you go from guitar to solodallas head , and then what is the head going into . Excuse my ignorance. Full stup if you could. Thanks
@@geoffreyhatchman7915 no worries! Back then I used a Hot Plate as a load box, had that running into a focusrite 2i4 and then added SoloDallas impulse responses. Nowadays I use the Universal Audio OX into an Apollo Twin Interface and then the IRs again. If you check my newer videos, there are some descriptions on all the stuff I use now. I get way closer and better sounds now than I did with this cover
@@TheLucasMurphy right lol, I’m 38 years old and my alesis strike pro SE drum kit will be paid off on October 12th and I’m seriously considering buying my ultimate dream guitar! It’s already in my cart on Zsounds website. It’s a ‘61 Gibson SG standard in aged cherry. And before you ask the answer is yes!! Angus Young IS my all time favorite guitar player!! 🤣
@@Jeffmd2020 all good haha! I’m selling my red SG currently. It’s a 2019 61 standard with Maestro Vibrola, converted to look and sound like a late 60s SG. Hard to let it go
Most of the “satanic themes” and imagery of AC/DC was only a joke and not mean’t to be taken literally or seriously. Highway to Hell is about a tour that was very tiring and hard. Even Hell’s Bells is more so about the inevitability of death and a warning about Hell from the grim reaper him self, as well as a reference to the bands hell raising image, and Bon Scott. which is just that. an image! All the devil horns are just for fun playing into the joke “Rock stars go to Hell” if AC/DC were legit satanic I don’t think Mal would have a Catholic funeral. As well Hell ain’t a bad place to be is just about a relationship. Brian was a hardcore Atheist for many years, but in recent years has become very spiritual. Let’s put the religion and AC/DC debate to bed, and just enjoy their music.
What an AC/DC sound!
immediately subscribed because it sounded amazing, you should DEFINITELY try to cover 'Rocker' live either at the agora 1977 or Nashville 1978
Thank you! I'll try my best once I find some time to do it!
Nice cover and cool guitars. Thanks for sharing!
Todas mis felicitaciones amigo se nota que eres recontra fanático ya que tienes las guitarras de AC DC y suenan increíbles un saludo desde Lima Peru
Inmediately thought: Must be 'cause of the copyright! And it was!
Terrific job man! Great cover! Lovely guitars too!!
Thank you and yeah, need to be a bit creative here and there to get around them blocking everything.
Copyright is not fun

Awesome, I like this.
Very very perfect ! The sound is just the same 👍it's the solodallas amp SD50 ??

Damn you are great!

Great vid and sound, what have you got the guitar going into as malcolms part. Amp pedal etc to get the sound .thanks
The Gretsch goes into a SoloDallas SD50X. I don’t use any pedals with it

Thank you! Not yet, but I might get one in the future!
めちゃうま!
How do u avoid copyright? I get blocked everytime i upload AC DC things.
It always depends.. I get lucky here and there, but most of my posts get blocked as well. That's why I tuned everything down half a step for this one
The gretstch guitar is the one Malcolm had its so rare
Ikr
So rare I found one at www.dhgate.com
Lucas I have an SG with maestro vibrola
De donde sacaste el track de la campana?
El audio original
Well done one thing maybe too much overdrive for AC⚡DC well done though not easy to play that song!😀🤘🤟
Btw, I do VERY similar content, but how do you record it in such high quality? Do you mic it and have that connected to a computer or what?
I use Solodalls Impulse Responses
AMAZING GEAR , SO NEAR ANGUS TONE !!!
You wouldn’t happen to live near South Carolina would you?? 😂
Sadly not :D
