After listening to Pattern's new sequel song to Ataraxia, I had to give it a go.
Bent the lyrics to my own new narrative to make it something else entirely.
"Waiting for the end on a husk of a dead star, the gentle glow of a white dwarf slowly fades away into nothingness. The Vessel holds on to how the sun once was. Only a tiny speck of that hue remains in her palm."

This by far is my favorite version of Patterns - Proxima remixes. Not only this version empowers the vocalist voice but add so, so much emphasis to the words. The words were brilliantly spaced out to add more meaning, conveys the story so vividly, and give time to ramp up the instrument. The music compliments the vocalist voice not drowning her out instead adding more emotion to the vocal's words. It has been a long time since I felt this shaken from listening to music. Thank you for sharing this amazing piece.

I do believe there's incredible artistic potential in vocal synth music. It's always been a goal of mine to push the medium forward, shatter the comforting molds, and elevate the bar of what vocal synth music could potentially be.

@@DarkmonstaR It's from SynthV! The voicebank is SOLARIA, arguably the best, most versatile voicebank there is currently. Just be sure to have version 1.6.1 of SynthV and Solaria's voicebank version 104 to get the results that I got on this song. The recent update changed the behaviors of how the editor handles voicebank data and its..not the same

Yeah it’s synthV a newer software . I was basically saying that I never got the quality that wanted from vocaloid . Solaria is awesome

If you want another incredible song with lyrics sung by Solaria I'd recommend "still here" by dm dokuro, specifically the harsh sun version. Absolute phenomenal piece of music

i have this stuck on repeat, there's something so mesmerizing about the progression and the way the verse merges so well with the chorus. thank you for creating this absolute masterpiece!!!

I'm glad you like the transitions! it's subtle but i used polyrhythms to help with the transitions! The piano is still on the 3s swing while i slowly introduced the 4s element with a subtle high hat behind it so when you hear the 3 big snares, your brain subconsciously puts it all together a lil quicker from the prior context!
It's fun using compositional tactics like these to "foreshadow" a change of movement.
The same tactic is used on the post-chorus interludes. But instead of using polyrhythms to help assist with the transition, It's used to build chaos even if it's still at 4/4 :)
