Been waiting for this since Herbie said Division 1 was the future of the program all those years ago. Graduated from SCSU when The Herb was only a gravel parking lot. Could win it in my hometown, The 'Burgh.

My 1st year at SCSU was 1990-91 when they joined the old WCHA and the arena had been open since the previous December. It has been something to see with them program becoming an elite program now (of course having the occasional down year) but still competing for league and national honors.

St. Cloud deserved to win as a program. They were division 1 first, play in a better arena, and are in a better conference. Go Huskies.
