  • In this video, I spoke to Shammi Quddus apu about childhood in Chittagong, attending MIT, Harvard, etc. But to be honest, my favorite part was hearing how she's tried her hand at so many things from Karate (Black Belt at Age 16!) to co-founding BYLC while still in undergrad. Enjoy! :)

    She had the childhood which every Bangali students mesmerize : ) but most of ours parents only care about academics. I couldn't even took IBA prep cause my parents think BBA has no future & now taking Enginnering prep (Udvash Weekly Exams) is taking my confidence of 12 years education.

      Getting a black belt at age 16 is a great ECA, olympiads are not the only way. Also she got an extra advantage by studying in english medium.

    অনেক ভালো অবস্থানে যারা যায় এদের বাবা-মা সবাই অনেক হাই লেভেলে অবস্থান থাকে ফলে তারা আগে থেকেই সব কিছু রেডি করে যার জন্য সহজে এত ভালো ভালো অবস্থান চলে যেতে পারে অবশ্যই পরিশ্রম করে তারপর রাস্তা যখন তৈরী থাকে তখন ভুল না করে সহজে গন্তব্য পৌছানো যায়
    কিন্তু আমাদের যাদের বাবা মা শিক্ষিত না তাদের নিজের জীবনের সব ডিসিশন নিজেদের নিতে হয় আর এর মধ্যে হয়তো অনেক ভুল ডিসিশন নিয়ে ফেলি কারন ছোটবেলা থেকে সব ডিসিশন নিজেদের নিতে হয় আমাদেট রাস্তা টা এত সুন্দর করে তৈরি করে দেয় না কেউ তাই এত বড় অবস্থান যাওয়া অধিকাংশ সময় কষ্টকর

    একটা কথা আছে,
    খালি কলশ বাজে বেশি।
    উনি তার কথা বলার ভঙ্গিতে বুঝাতে চাচ্ছেন তিনি অনেক ইংরেজি শিখে গেছেন।
    ২০ থেকে ২৫ বছর দেশের বাহিরে থাকার পরও সুন্দর বাংলা কথা বলতে পারে সকলে। কিন্তু তিনি কয় বছর USA তে থেকে বাংলাই ভুলে গেছেন।
    হে এটা সত্যি আমি তার মত তত বড় কিছু না, তাবে তার মত মানুষের কাছে অনুরোধ থাকলো বংলা ইংরেজি না মিলিয়ে একটা ভাষায় কথা বলুন।
    আমরা বাংলাদেশর মানুষেরা এখন ইংরেজি বুঝতে পারি।।

      খালি কলসটা আসলে তুই নিজেই!!! এইজন্যই বেশি আওয়াজ করতাসস। নিজের চরম ঈর্ষাকাতর কথাবার্তা দিয়ে তুই নিজেই সেটা বুঝিয়ে দিলি!!! এই মেয়ের পাছার বালেরও যোগ্য না তুই!!!
      কে কি ভাষায় কথা বলে তাতে কিছুই আসে যায় না। সব ভাষাই মানুষের ভাষা, সব ভাষাই আল্লাহর ভাষা। সে যে ভাষায় ইচ্ছা সেই ভাষায় কথা বলবে। তুই কে রে বাইঞ্চোৎ??? মানুষের কাজটাই আসল কথা। সে যা কাজ করে তুই কি তার পরমানু সমানও করার যোগ্যতা রাখস বান্দর???

      @@shakilrahmanashiq6973 জেলাসি ভাই, জেলাসি!!! এইসব ঈর্ষাকাতর, পরশ্রীকাতর অপদার্থ মাকাল ফল আর পোকামাকড়গুলি সোশাল মিডিয়া জুড়ে ঘুরে বেড়ায় আর এইসব স্টুপিড কমেন্ট করে। অন্যের সাফল্য দেখলে এদের গা জ্বলে যায় আর তাদের নিজেদের চরম অপদার্থতার কথা মনে পড়ে যায়। তখন এই গা জ্বলুনি থেকে বাচবার জন্য তারা এইসব কমেন্ট করে। গাধাগুলি বুঝে না তারা মুখ খোলা মাত্রই তারা যে আসলে লাইফে ফেইল মারা চরম অপদার্থ আবাল মাকড়ার দল সেটা সবাই বুঝে যায়!!! কোথায় এই মেয়ে দুনিয়ার সর্বোচ্চ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় MIT তে যায়, দুনিয়ার সর্বোচ্চ প্রতিষ্ঠান Google এ চাকরি করে, গবেষণা করে, জীবনে সাফল্যের শিখরে উঠে যায়, আর কোথায় এইসব অশিক্ষিত, মূর্খ, পরশ্রীকাতর, অন্তঃসারশূন্য অপদার্থ আবাল কৃমিকীটের দল, লাইফে কিছুই করতে পারে না খালি সফল মানুষকে ইন্টারনেটে এসে আড়াল থেকে খোঁচাখুচি করে নিজেদের লাইফের জ্বালা মিটায় - অনেকটা ঘেয়ো কুত্তার নিজেরই ঘা চাটার মত!!! 🤣😂😆

      @@GUULLIVER আপনি তো খুব ভালো ভাবেই কারো বৈশিষ্ট্য বর্ণনা করতে পারেন😆এভাবে সরাসরি কাউকে তার অবস্থান বুঝিয়ে দিলে সে আপনার সামনে তো দূরের বিষয় পাশেও অবস্থান নিবে না😆
