This was so nice😊 You really say what I have been thinking when people complain about knitting petiteknit. And I live in Norway and yes, I do see quite a bit of petiteknit sweaters around. But I think it's great! Petiteknit has done something right! Classic, wearable sweaters! And yes! Let's all just knit what we want without and not complain about other peoples knitting habits🤗 Have a wonderful weekend 🧶
Hi Emma! I am in NY State and I am also absolutely loving this weather. It is perfect! It was so cool yesterday that I brought out my Silverlining sweater by Jenn Steingass and worked on the yoke. I’m about half way through. But my yarn is a 100% wool and I haven’t been able to bear working on it since the warm weather started. I liked your video. Being a farm girl myself I have a hard time in cities…too noisy! Looking forward to your next video for sure!
Yes we’ve finally reached wool tolerable temps though I’m sure we’ll have another gear spike or two before the summer is over! And the city is hard at times for sure, the sound of cars starts to drive me a bit bonkers if I don’t have music or a fan running :)
Cute little video. I am knitting on a long summer cardigan in bed. Because here in the Himalayas it's monsoon. Non stop rain for like 15h now.greetings
Goodness I can’t imagine! Though last year it rained every single weekend in New England and it felt never ending sometimes. At least it’s easier to work on wooly knits!
Maybe try using an elastic band to grip your needle just while you twist it to tighten it. The extra grip should give you a tad more tightness so it doesn’t keep loosening off. 💕🤞🏼
@@granolagear I had a silicone mat that used to sit under my cat’s bowl to stop it slipping around the kitchen floor and I just cut little shapes out of that and use it to tighten my needles. Works a treat!
I LOVE this. Good for you!! Embrace the city. I’m knitting a swatch while watching you. Oh coincidentally, I’m about to order Drops Paris for a natural colored simple raglan sweater. How do you like the yarn?
Thank you so much for watching! I enjoyed knitting with drops Paris, as far as cottons go it was a good balance of friction on the needles not too slippery or grippy :)
Hi. I really enjoyed your knit and chat in the park. Your videos are always good but,I loved knitting with you in such a relaxed setting.
Thank you! I really enjoyed it too, I tend to talk fast and loud and being in a chill public space definitely helped me mellow :)

Ah Norway I’m jealous! And yes as long as you’re wearing what you knit and you like it nothing else matters :)
Really enjoyed your outdoor chat!
Thank you so much for watching!
It was a lovely video in the park! 🎉 I was watching while sorting many bags of yarn that my neighbor gave me….😮.
Oh that sounds wonderful, I love surprise yarn!

Hi, I am knitting on a Ranunculus and also on a Cumulus blouse, both in plant fiber summer yarns! Enjoyed the park knitting!
That sounds wonderful! I have a cashmere Cumulus back on the needles again now that it’s cooling off :)

Yes I’ve been meaning to get something grippy like you would use to open a stuck can lid, just haven’t gotten around to it haha

Coincidentally, I'm knitting a Boston Red Sox beanie 😀
Amazing! I love a good Red Sox game :)

@@granolagear, thanks for the feedback. That’s exactly the type of balance I’m looking for in a cotton yarn!
