Wait.. your husband gets a cameo? Nice costume and he is handsome too. Would love to see you in your Halloween costume. 🙏😄 I now want that woodland fairy outfit. It’s so beautiful. I grew up in Vancouver, BC, Canada. We definitely wore coats on Halloween! So fun that you showed that. 😂I did notice Ivy’s eye. lol. I also noticed your cats chasing each other. You have a beautiful home. 😊
Haha, he does! Thank you, it was funny he was also working on his own costume at the time, and then he had to join because I kept saying "this is the cutest outfit American Girl has ever made" with that fairy outfit! Yes with the coats, I'm so glad you know exactly what that looks like with the addition of coats! It's a dream of mine to visit Vancouver one day. Everything looks beautiful there. Thank you, that's very kind. That's our Aussie, he loves playing catch with a ball. Lots of cameos on this one. 🤣😆
I grew up in North Dakota. Coats were a must with Halloween costumes. It’s amusing to me that the high today was in the upper 50’s and on Halloween it will be 80!! Your house is beautiful!! The folks looked like decor pieces with how you placed them.
@@melangellperry5984 Oh my goodness, thank you so much. That's very kind. Also, 80 on Halloween! WOWZA. Sounds like everyone better get the tropical costumes ready. Did you prep your Halloween costumes knowing coats were going to be added or just threw on the coat as headed out!?
@@All.DolledUplol that’s where I grew up too. Some of both, you would gather a costume knowing a costume could probably go on top (avoid big sleeves) but also you’d throw on a jacket regardless of the costume!
What a cool story on how you met your husband! I’m so glad you decided to do a costume video. I don’t have any AG costumes yet. It was so fun to see them on all your dolls. Happy Halloween!👻🎃🕷️
as someone who grew up in the midwest, the coats over halloween costumes is so accurate ! i immediately nodded and went "yup" out loud when you showed the girls in their coats lol great video !!!
YESSSS!!! Thank you so much for commenting that so quickly too. I always get a little nervous when I do something different, I'm like... I hope I explained that well enough andsomeone will understand what I'm trying to do. So thank you so much for commenting. It truly means a lot to me.
Great video ! I just hearing the story of how you met your husband! Here in Massachusetts the weather usually is cold and you need to wear a jacket over your costume . This year it is supposed to be 79 degrees . That’s great no coats !
You have no idea how much this meant to me. I was having a horrific week, and when this comment came through... I kept the notification on my phone, and it just gave me the biggest smile every time I saw it. Thank you, truly thank you for saying that. I'm not always the best at responding timely, but that does not mean I've not cherished and appreciated it ever since it came in.
I moved to the Midwest at a young age, so the coats definitely resonated lol! As I got a little older I'd always try to think ahead to make sure my coat could work as part of my costume. Love all your dolls and their looks, but Ivy is my favourite
Ah, I'm so glad to hear it resonated with someone. I never know if someone will get my crazy ideas or if it's just silly and fun. Sounds like it was a big move across country. That is so smart to plan ahead with incorporating or making sure the coat works!
I really enjoyed your video! The story on how you met your husband just left me with more questions! I would have so much fun talking with you. I grew up in California. It is usually cold on Halloween. We just wore tights and turtlenecks under our costumes. I don't think that we would wear a jacket. It was cold enough to need them, but we didn't want to cover up what we were wearing.
YES! I'm over here like, when can we have a double date, cause our husbands would also have common ground. It would be so much fun to chat! I'm going to try to expand on the story for future videos where the theme might align, because I know it's a unique situation!
I think the Mod Monster headpiece is best worn with the doll’s hair pulled up and tucked in. I think it’s supposed to look like the bride of Frankenstein.
6 years? I need more of that story! Why did it take so long for the two of you to meet in person? How much of that time were you dating? Who reached out to whom? This was a teaser for the whole story lol. Also, I 100% relate to not being able to take a doll out of the Wood Fairy outfit, because my current girl wearing is is just gonna live in it. Also, the coats!!! I'm still living this life. Last year the whole family dressed as Anna (each in a different one of her outfits) and it SNOWED, so we were immediately covering up those pretty costumes lol. Lastly, your husband's costume looks great! Thanks for sharing everything with us :)
A collection of Anna's looks, that is so fun and creative. I love it. I feel like we must have similar weather, being just west of you all. You are too funny, and it is nice to feel like there is interest in expanding the story! I never know how to balance that, but I know it meant a lot to me to read your questions... and so I'm going to totally share more! I've been thinking ever since your comment on how to even explain some of it.

Thank you, that is so sweet of you! I knew I was "late" to the game, but then thought it'd be fun. Plus, I wanted to dive into those costumes too! 😃
I love the fairy shoes!
Same. They are perfection.
Dolls are beautiful enjoyed your video

Thanks friend. I'm glad you liked the story! The weather can be so tricky, after the snowstorm this week... then today in the Midwest it was gorgeous.

Yes being from Idaho this is definitely how it still is with the coats!
