I saw NF in concert last Sept and this song was just beautiful live. He can SANG! No auto-tune either. Just pure talent! Also, my 30 year old daughter passed away unexpectedly in Jan. 2020. It has been the hardest thing I've ever gone through. It's a pain that is just unexplainable especially for the mother. We carry those babies and it's a whole different bond that the father doesn't know. Great reaction, Ray!

Fighting that battle of losing your child at this moment, it brings so much happiness to see other get married and find love but also so much sadness I’ll never see my baby girl get that , I’ll never give her away and it’s heart breaking. But at the same time we are experiencing our biggest loss we are also expecting our next child , I can’t even begin to describe the emotions and feelings it brings. This circle of life is a blessing and a curse
The awesome thing about songs like this is you can look at it from different views... my wife and I listened to the song without the video and took at is a relationship song. We used it for our first dance song!!! Great reaction!!!!

He for real is one of the best at making you feel what he's feeling when he writes his music When you put your heart and soul into something you write it brings out all kinds of emotions. I've literally cried while writing some of my poems and songs. After you get those emotions off your chest that's really the only time you feel at peace. Like the weights been lifted off your chest.

RAY!!! Oh, I get it! My boys are 29 and almost 32. I didn't have a daughter but I got a bonus one along with two bonus sons when hubby and I married in 1999. From watching him and listening to him tell boys... Be the kind of man you want your daughter to be with. He told them "If you think you're being a great husband and father, ask yourself this... 'Would I let my daughter date someone who was just like me? Acted like me? Talked like me?' Show your daughter how she should be treated by her man... she will typically settle for nothing less than she sees in you." Now back to this reaction... not quite over yet and GREAT so far!
Okay first of all KUDOS on catching that the toy hanging on the carrier was the same one as in the beginning!!! Seriously, I have seen very few reactors catch that. Did you notice that he says "I wish somebody woulda told me" before the chorus comes in? But then, toward the end he says "I'll sit in the living room and laugh with kids of my own and tell 'em"... before the next chorus. During that he says "I wish you woulda told me" as if he is talking to his mama at that point. No one told him these things... he has seriously had to learn so much on his own through some very hard times. I think in the background somewhere he might even say "I wish my mama woulda told me"
I would like to see you react to Witt Lowry in the future he is a great independent rapper, and to me is very similar to NF and his storytelling ability.
