How do you get the message of “use soul” to pop up? I tried practicing with a small soul and when I pressed square it just got used up

The message only pops up on boss souls not on regular souls

So when I’m practicing does it matter if I drink the estus or not? Cuz when my character does that little shuffle and I go to drink estus he doesn’t, that’s fine for the glitch or no?

Which console are you playing on? If you're playing on Xbox, if you accidentally consume the lord soul while practicing, you can simply: Press the xbox button > Hover over Dark Souls 3 > Press the view button (the 3 lines button) > Mange game and add ons > Saved data > Your account > Delete from console > Then load into Dark Souls 3 again.

Well you could use the further in game souls as he’s said previously

Mine i think patched cause when i click (o) on my ps it automatically put the message on "no"
Moreover my back move won't work

You're highlighting YES before holding (o), so yes it will highlight NO if you have YES highlighted before holding (o). So what you need to do is, While the CONSUME SOUL prompt is up, Hold (o) first so your sprinting around, then while sprinting, highlight YES.
